This washing machine leaves yellow marks on to my clothes and also my baby clothes. The size is good but the performance is very poor. I expect better form LG. I would not recommend this machine to no one.

Great machine. Very quiet, very good at its job, fast, excellent spin cycle, no vibrations. The only problem I see so far is that the door *slams* shut very easily. Just barely touch it and it flies...I'm afraid I'm going to break it! Oh, and it plays 25 seconds of Schubert's "Piano Quintet in A Major" when it's done washing. No I'm not kidding. I think that's going to get annoying after a while.

Let me start by saying, I did A LOT of research and ground pounding on this. I visited several places (Sears, Lowes, Home Depot, ect.) and for the money, 0% interest, and the outstanding installers, I could not be more impressed. My mother hopes that when I deploy, that she can use them while I am away. Just a few really cool features about these AMAZING machines. - It defaults to the energy effecient (Love that) - Pay extra for the steam dryer, I am a single guy and nothing better than throwing a shirt in for 10 minutes and it comes out pressed - This is super effecient with water and electricity. - Lint trap is SUPER easy to pull, lift, empy and re-install - It is SUPER quiet as well. I have a small place and can throw a load in watch tv and not even hear it in the back ground, until the cool music comes on. - Easy to clean the main plug out below (it gets a little wet so have a towel handy and be sure to open it about every 3 months to clean out trap. I leave mine open over night to dry out) - I know this sounds very snobish, but they are also just beautiful and cool looking machines. - Make sure you buy the feet drawers for this. I am pretty tall and the sit REALLY low to the floor. I am going to buy them in a couple of months. Wish I would have done it at first, now I have to install them. I promise you will love it. I love Samsung products. You will not regret it.

I upgraded to this from my 11 year old Kenmore. Did a lot of research online and spent a lot of time reading Consumer Reports reviews. After almost 2 months I have no complaints whatsoever. It runs quietly so I can do a load at night if I wish without losing sleep. I almost got a similar one from LG since feature for feature they are almost identical in this price range, but what finally sold me on the Samsung was how the water for the steam function on the matching dryer is provided via water hose from a Y valve shared with the washer vs the LG which required you to occasionally fill a water reservoir. Be careful if you are putting this into tight quarters though. I had to remove the doors from my apartment's laundry room to squeeze the set in. And I did measure the dimensions from the manual prior to making the purchase thinking they would fit with adequate clearance. Not a big deal though. All and all I'm very happy with this purchase

It replaced a top load machine and uses less water and washs excellent am surprised how great a job it does with less soap and with cold water. Runs verry quietly. Ity does more wash with less water and soap.

Was a little hesitant in spending this much money but the purchase so far is well worth it. My clothes have never been cleaner. I love all the features,energy efficiency, and the fact that it uses much less water than a traditional top loader. As far as the Purefoam technology, I'm not really sure that makes a huge difference but the clothes are extremely clean. I don't see the foam as seen in the video's samsung markets so don't let that be the final deciding factor to buy. Great product

Super capacity. Managed a Queen comforter with no problems. Clothes are very dry after washing which greatly reduces dryying time. Very easy to operate and controls are simplistic. Also beautiful to look at! **note that I am 5'2" and stacked mine with the coordinating dryer. They are about a bit high for just 1 setting on the dryer, but I DON'T need a step stool so it's all good! :)

I have owned this washer/dryer set for almost 2 years and it has been better than I expected. My partner who goes to college about 1.5 hours away even brings her clothes here because her washer is so loud and not as gentle on her clothes. When I chose this washer/dryer set, my research had the Samsung at the top of the list, but the biggest question I had when I purchased this is whether a more expensive "high efficiency" washer would clean as well because the motions are so gentle. I was slightly troubled by a reviewer who said her husband was a mechanic and his clothes didn't come out as clean as the old cheap washer. I'm not sure why a mechanic's clothes need to be so clean, but I work in an office and the biggest bonus has been that my expensive clothes have lasted an extremely long time with only minimal fading. This has probably saved me hundreds of dollars in replacing clothes (if anything I'm almost tired of seeing the same clothes in my closet but have no good excuse to get rid of them). On the other hand, the steam feature really helps on deep set stains and the sanitize helps prevent towels from smelling funny. The only thing that annoys me is that it is strict in which settings you can change depending on the cycle. For example, I use the delicate cycle for my more expensive clothes, but it only lets me select "Low" for spin speed. It makes sense, but it also means they spend more time tumbling around in the dryer. When the clothes are finished, it plays nice melody every few minutes to remind you. Not annoying at all compared to the normal buzzer.

We got this washer back in June, and it washes really well. I have two young children, so the steam cycles are great. My clothes always comes out clean and it uses little water. My only issue with it is that it leaked after about two weeks of use from the door. I had to exchange it for another one. The one I have now was not mounted properly, so they are coming tomorrow morning to fix that issue. When your washer gets delivered, be sure to ask the delivery guys to level it out. The first washer didn't shake at all even on very high spins, and this one does. All these inconveniences makes me give a three stars otherwise, it's a wonderful product.

Ordered online and had a couple of problems scheduling delivery, so had to complete by phone with customer service. They were extremely helpful and courteous. The delivery/installation crew was equally professional and polite. The washer itself is a dream...there's a cycle for everything and my laundry has never been cleaner.

I bought this washer over a year ago, and has not disappointed me yet. I've read other reviews that talk about the mold buildup in the rubber of the door. People, please use vinegar as your fabric softener; not only does it keep your machine sparkling clean, but it reduces the use of petrochemical fabric softener. Fabric softener causes allergies, asthma, etc. And no, your clothes will not smell like vinegar. Your clothes come out brighter than ever. As for the machine, all the different settings make it a pleasure to clean clothes. I've stuffed this machine and it works like a charm. I've had zero mechanical, or electrical problems (again, only been using it little over a year). This machine is too small for a fluffly king size comforter, but if you're washing a coverlet or thin comforter, it's fine. Queen and below, fit like a charm. I use it in the basement, so I don't hear any noise. If I pay attention, I can definitely hear the last spin cycle, so it may be too loud for a laundry room on a main or second level.

So far this is a great washing machine. Its quiet and does not shake the entire house. This is located on the second floor of an old 2 family house. When you are in the apartment below the unit, you can only hear or feal the washing machine coming up to speed, then it levels out and you no longer can hear it.

After reading all of the ratings, we decided to purchase this Samsung Washer and Dryer. After the units were installed,by Best Buy Third Party, we placed a load of laundry to be cleaned. 20 minutes into the cycle, we heard a pounding like a baseball bat hitting our house. The Samsung washer walked about 1 foot away from its origional position. This caused the washer to be scratched as well as the new dryer. After reviewing the Samsung installation video on you tube, I discovered why this may have happened. The installers detached the Washers shipping bolts while unpacking the unit on the back of the truck. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE VERY LAST THING THE INSTALLERS DO AFTER PALCING THE UNIT IN ITS FINAL SPOT!!!!! NOT THE FIRST!! This is why I purchase from best buy.... The Manchester , CT store manager apologized and ordered us a brand new washer and dryer and had the origional purchase returned 3 days later. So far the washer and dryer has worked flawlessly. If you plan on purchasing this or any other front loader. make sure the shipping bolts come of at the very end of the delivery.....

I love this washer; it is wonderful! It is very quiet and the spin cycle leaves clothes damp. It is easy to use and I love the music it plays to let you know the wash is complete. Very cool!

Love the washer. Uses a lot less water than my old top loader and still gets the laundry exceptionally clean. Lots of cycles with a bedding cycle. Washed my king size comforter with no problem. Spins the water from the loads very well so it shortens the drying time.

We bought the set (this washer and it's matching dryer) in February and have loved it ever since. BB was awesome in their customer service and delivery. The machines are absolutely brilliant to use. I have 4 kids and an astounding amount of laundry. They do their thing and never complain. Each load is clean and dry as expected and no unpleasant surprises. I love Samsung and I love this washer and dryer combo.

This is our first front-loader. We've had this for a few months and are very happy with it. It's easy to use, despite controls that look a little overwhelming at first. Clothes come out very clean, it's pretty quiet, and the cycles take less time than we thought they might. Water and electricity usage have gone way down from our previous top-loaders. We're very pleased with this Samsung washer, and would certainly buy it again.

This is a great front loading washer. Since purchasing it, our water usage has dropped over 40%, which has offset the cost of the washer (water rates are extremely high where we live). It cleans well, runs quietly, and washes large loads. We have 4 kids, so we run a lot of laundry (average about 2 loads a day), and this does great. Overall a great product.

We have this washer with the matching dryer and pedestals. They look amazing and they work even better. We installed them ourselves and it was a breeze. We've been using them for about 3 months now and I have nothing to complain about. They clean very well and you don't get the soaked clothes when the cycle is done. We got them on sale which makes them even better but they're well worth the price. The only thing I wish it would do is allow you to make the End of Cycle signal shorter.
