I had previously owned a bose surround sound and these sound just as good. The sound bar takes up less room and visually looks better as well.

Easy to setup, and what can I say about sound quality but, wow.

I had a Sony sound bar and after about 1 month it stopped working. So I returned it to Best Buy and replaced it with the Samsung. What a difference in sound quality!

I purchased the Soundbar along with a New Samsung 60' Smart TV, 4K TV---it make all the difference in the world-- no need to go out! I couldn't be happier and I can't wait for football season. I love Samsung products.

Sound is good but I expected better surround sound. I've heard other sound bars that throw movies all over the room. We've watched some movies that we know have great special effects and soundtracks but don't seem to get the full effects on this bar.

this is a awesome sound bar if you want yo up grade from tv speakers.i have all samsung products that make it easy to set up.i also have the true home theater as well.but for a cheaper way this is the way to go.its alot better then the 2.1 channel by far.the down fall is i wish it had more hdmi to hook up.

I really like the sound of this product. I could not hear the TV mounted on the wall. It always sounded muffled and was NOT clear. Now, all sounds have improved. I can hear everything clearly now. I just wish the unit would turn ON when I turn on the TV. It will turn off....but NOT turn on???

More bass than the average person may want. The soundbar itself could stand to have a little more volume. The sound quality is decent. Although the TV (65" SUHD Samsung) has ok speakers, this sound bar brings things to the next level.

Hooks up wirelessly to Samsung 8500 4k tv's. Sounds is excellent! Also, with the 8500 tv line, the clearance on the bottom of the screen (If using the stand) is low, so most sound bars would block it. This is about 2 inches high and does not obstruct any part of the tv or it's frame. I am very happy with this purhase

This soundbar is not like any other soundbar, it sounds like a really high end one but also gives your dorm room a look that everyone wants to party or watch movies at your place. The sound is clear and max volume doesn't rattle or static sound. Clear at all levels. Great buy

For the price we expected more, we purchased two and had to return one three different times due to popping noises, a dent in the sound bar, and static. Samsung should definitely check their products before it hits the stores. One didn't give us problems, however the set up with DIN optical vs HDMI was not clear in the manual. It took us several tries wiring the bar to get it to work with one remote the way we wanted. Overall, good sound quality for the price but could use some enhancements.

The Samsung HW-J650 Sound Bar Produces a real theatre sound comparable to a THX Theatre sound. Very easy set-up and looks beautiful. Would definitely recommend it.

This is a necessary purchase for thin TVs. The surround works well and the wireless subwoofer is very convenient. I was a little disappointed on the max volume but works well in my 24 x 12 room. Would probably splurge on a Bose for a large room.

This speaker sounds great! We don't have a huge TV room, but it really sounds like your in a theatre.

Happy with the sound but I think I need to call the Geek Squad since I was told that the sounds would automatically change when a movie is on as opposed to a watching a regular local tv show? Unless that is only when I use the Blue Ray player?
