I had purchased the Samsung pair, Washer DV448GP & Dryer DV448AGP. There was a problem with my clothes when I washed with bleach on two loads. so the second time before turning the machine on. I had loaded the soap and the beach to the dispenser. When I closed the tray, I had noticed that the dispenser had already started releasing the bleach, while the machine was off. The clothes were already damaged at this point. I had called Samsung customer service, explaining what had happened. The Samsung Rep. had stated, that by design this machine will release the bleach immediately because it makes the chemical more effective. This washer does not have a time release for the bleach. Needless to say, Samsung had not inquired, or was not concerned about how much damage this design had done to my clothes, or what it cost me. I probably will not buy any Samsung products. Bestbuy Reps were customer oriented, and showed deep concern about the product and the customer. Bestbuy will always have my business, because of the customer support I will not recommend any Samsung products to anyone.

Got this washer few months ago an and its freaking awesome. Does everything i could imagine and more.

After the GE Profile set that was junk we exchanged them for this set and they are incredible.

This machine is so loud that you cnnot concentrate on reading in an adjacent room. The vibration is so bad that pictures fall off the wall and it moves you chair in an adjacent room. This is our third Samsung washer and dryer since Sep 09 as there have been problems with all of them whether it was dents, scratches, computer problems, off/on switch not working, paint not matching, vibration or noise. When issues have been brought up to Samsung customer service, their immediate response is that their machines have no problems. Our nearest Samsung qualified repair person is located in Atlanta and we have had them come down to Macon to check out the machines. Samsung has been nonresponsive and will not take responsibility for a defective product. If not for a good Best Buy store and staff, we would have a severe problem in trying to work out the problem with Samsung. We would recommend anyone buying a Samsung product to buy the extended warranty as you will need it.

The first day we used the washer it was taking 96 minutes to do a normal wash or quick wash with a high spin. After the wash was done it had to go through an additional Spin only cycle because the clothes are still wet. Called Samsung it took a week before a service tech came out and all he had to say we will have to replace the system board and would have to order one and would come back in a few days. I returned it to the store without any problems and bought a ELECTROLUX EWFLS65IIW it does a quick cycle in 18 mintues and if you want a matching Dry look for ELECTROLUX EWMED65HIW. Bought them online with free delivery and no sales tax if you don't want to spend an entire day washing don't by the Samsung.

THE MACHINE OVERALL IS OK AFTER HAVING THE KENMORE HE5T IN MY HOME THERE IS NO COMPARISON. VERY NICE SALESPERSON HELPED ME OUT WITH THE PURCHASE. THE MACHINE HAS VERY NICE FEATURES BUT THE SILVER CARE CAUSED MY SEPTIC TANK TO OVER FLOW WASHING ABILITIES WERENT AS GREAT AS THE HE5T FROM KENMORE HAVING BOTH UNITS IN MY HOME THE 5T WAS A LOT MORE FRIENDLY TO USE QUIETER AND LEFT CLOTHES AND WASHED MY CLOTHES SPOTLESS
