We bought this TV to replace an old one that was a flat screen but stilled weighed a ton. This TV is fantastic. Better that what we expected. It feels like you at the movies watching it on the big screen as the graphics are great. Highly recommend!! Very easy to set up. Just took minutes.

This television has a beautiful picture, great sound and tons of cool features. I especially like the fact that it has enough HDMI ports for me to connect all of my other gadgets!

So easy to use !!!!!! I can use my tablet to stream shows to this new TV and my ROKU to get live or recorded shows . Since it is a Samsung product I know it will be dependable Best Buys sales people were so helpful too .

Samsung makes very good televisions. If you are looking for a great picture then this tv is for you. However, the audio on this model and most of their mid models (6k series) is not so great.... if this is for a bedroom, you can get by without a sound bar, however, for a mai. Tv you should opt for a sound bar addition.

Pros: Has 4 hdmi ports( good for connecting multiple HD devices). Many features( bluetooth, smart capable, web browser, nice slim design...) Cons: There is a slight jerky movement on the display when the camera pans quickly. Almost unnoticeable from a distance.

This TV has a great picture and smart TV, on screen typing is pretty easy. The down side is that to stream some TV shows (example: How to Get Away With Murder) you need Adobe Flash. While Samsung says it has it, it cannot be updated. Other wise an good purchase.

When I opened the box, it seemed smaller than 40 inches. LED's will have that effect I guess. Picture quality is pretty good considering I don't have it connected to an HD box. one complaint I would say is the build quality does seem kind of cheap, lots of plastic but that I think is a industry standard right now.

Samsung is a favorite brand name for us. For obvious reasons. Always the highest quality regardless of the product. No exception with this TV. Bright, crisp,clean. Easy setup.

I first purchased the first one and had problems with it. It was displaying a green color across the screen. So I returned it and got another one. Customer service was excellent. I had not had any problems with the second one. Easy to set up. Great picture.

I watch sports, many movies and play video games. My main TV is a high quality plasma from a few years back. Plasma seems to have had a niche run and it's very hard to find a high grade unit. This is my first LED tv and I am very surprised by the overall quality. It is vibrant in color and faster than I expected. I'm happy with my purchase especially because I bought it dirt cheap on sale.

Great TV. Almost plug-and-play set up. The lack of hard copy manual is a minus.

My wife and I knew in advance what we wanted to purchase. The Best Buy salespeople were cordial and provided excellent service. The process was swift and efficient. We scheduled the GEEK SQUAD and the entire purchase time was less than 30 minutes. The Samsung 40" is superb!

Didn't really need another tv; decided to try it and went into the store and was sold. Good price for what we paid and very easy to setup up at home, great picture.

I was looking for at medium sized TV in the hobby room to extra also for Xbox One sessions. This Sony is easy to use, responsive and uses an external power adapter, which makes it easier to bring overseas - which maybe is not the most important for every day buyers...

This is our first smart tv. Love all the things you can do like going straight Hulu or Netflix. The only thing that would make this better is if it were ultra hd.

Perfect for my bedroom its big but not to big and the color and pictures like looking out a window at a live show instead of a movie. The sporting events blow me away

Researched and compared numerous sets in the 40" class for a master bedroom. This set beat the competition and is performing like a champ! NOTE - could have jumped into 4K, but in the $400-500 range, this set blew away the entry level 4K sets in said range.

Great TV for a great price. Awesome pics and sound and access to apps. We keep exploring. Nice job Samsung!
