We love the tv, especially for its price. It gives sharp picture and has many good features. Our only disappointment is that the NHL app is no longer available for Samsung smart tvs and so we had to get a streaming stick as well (the smart function is one of the reasons we replaced our 26 year old Samsung tube tv). We would purchase again and have great confidence in the brand. It's got nice pairing with our Samsung phone and tablet, a feature that we hadn't realized until setting up.

This size is adequate for one or two people watching and the video quality is good. But it sure looked bigger in the store--I guess we are getting spoiled by larger and larger TVs as it seems there is way too much wall around it! It grabs a weak antenna signal and turns it into great audio and video. My complaint is that it is slow to respond to the remote: changing channels is fine, but when using the smart hub it doesn't display all choices and takes several seconds to even bring up a few choices. it does not bring up a "desktop" of icons to choose from as it did in the store. Connection to the home network was much slower and more complicated than I expected as the internet password must be entered by moving arrows around a non-qwerty screen. It does not have an "S" connection for my older model DVD player and even at max remote (100) volume the DVD doesn't play as loudly as Netflix or regular TV.

This has a really good picture. Clarity and color are excellent. Easy to set up and use. Looks nice on the wall.

We originally purchased the comparable Samsung 32 in. model for our master bedroom. The picture was great but it looked a little small in this larger room so we exchanged it for the 40 in. model. Love the Samsung Smart TV apps. This is our 2nd purchase of a Samsung Smart LED HDTV. Very happy with the performance of both.

I was looking for a second TV for my house. Purchased this one because it was on sale, last year's model. It has the best picture quality and I love the built in apps! Best part.....the next day the Best Buy ad came out and they had lowered the price another $50! Took my receipt in and they gave me the difference back.

40 inches is the perfect size for the bedroom. Samsung is an excellent choice. The picture is vibrant and having a smart tv makes viewing a pleasure. Don't need any extra boxes to watch Amazon prime movies or television series. The options are wonderful and very easy to use. The picture is perfect and the value is excellent. Couldn't be more please with everything about this television.

The television is slim and light. I'm a big fan of the Smart TV apps because of their ease of use and accessibility. The picture quality is great for movies, shows, and sports as well as viewing pictures. The built in speakers are decent but I would recommend buying speakers or a sound bar if you want a more enjoyable experience. It would've been convenient if the television had HDMI and USB ports on the side in addition to only in the back.

Love the picture and the user friendly controls. Smart features work great.

I have 4 hdtvs in my house, 2 samsungs and 2 lgs. The samsungs win out in every category. This smart tv is simple to use and has s great picture. You are prompted to install updates and the updates install in the background do you can gontinue to use the tv. This is s great 40 inch hdtv and I got it on sale for less than the price of the same model without the smart features.

I purchased this tv for my master bed room and it is one of the best tv's i have come across in this price range. High quality picture and great sound even without a sound bar! It was easy to set up and the apps process and upload with sufficient speed. Overall great tv at a great price

This is a great TV, I wanted to go a little larger and this 40 inch fit the bill, the picture quality, color and sharpness is amazing, I am beyond pleased. It was pretty easy to install, took all of ten minutes and we were in business. The fact that its a smart TV eliminated the need to have my sons Xbox hooked up in order to access Netflix .I would highly recommend.

We have several Samsung products, two which are Smart TVs. We have always been impressed with the quality of picture, the ease of set up and use of menus, and the ability to customize the picture. Though we are currently not attached to an HD set-top from our satellite provider, it is still a magnificent upgrade especially when using internet driven HD programming.

Samsung continues to have a great product. TV is easy to use and has a great picture. I also like the ease with the remote and controlling DIRECTV. The internet connection with the TV has been seamless and my Netflix viewing has been terrific. Wish I had purchased this TV before now!

I absolutely love my new Samsung smart TV! I have to admit, I was very behind the times and had an old-school 15-year-old Sanyo (that was still working fine, btw). Within a few minutes I had hooked up my Netflix, Amazon prime and my Wii. Totally love it and would definitely recommend.

Bought this for my daughter for Xmas. She wanted a Smart tv to use in her dorm room. This one was a good deal and had great reviews so we went with it. It gets a great picture and works well. She uses it with netflix and a DVD player most often and has had no issues with it.

I know that some prefer to buy devices because of the big names tide to them but this brand has really made a great name for itself over the years. I bought this tv over the holiday because of the great price for the size, but we have just fallen in love with the overall quality. It is definitely a tv to consider if you're in the market.
