This a perfect 4k TV for people on budget but don't want to sacrifice craftsmanship or brand name. It also offers HDR + which is really good at this price range.

In combination with a sound bar and wall mounting system, my installer situated the screen to my specs and other than the challenges of my own learning curve, this TV has worked well. (I've not owned a TV in 5 years, and the last TV purchased was in 1992.)

My old big body tv died in November and I was left without a clue. During the process, I was stressed, confused and ended up spending more than I intended but the salesguy was patient and spent a lot of time with me. I love it and am enjoying it every day! When I'm watching old favorites, I see details I had never seen before. (The attached pictures aren't good.)

this set lives up to the Samsung name, picture is sharp even without a 4K signal, much clearer than my previous 1080p set. Couldn't pass up this deal for the price, makes for a great tv at the foot of my bed...

I Purchase this TV specifically for the Xbox One S and to take advantage of the 4k and HDR features price point was better then the Sony I wanted!! the display and the store didn't blow me away but it was looking pretty nice and it is a fairly OK TV but me personally OK wasn't really what I was looking for. I don't have the OLED Money and I couldn't justify that purchase but I was still looking for a fantastic spectacular magical screen of art with a super Crystal Clear display and that is not this but is it worth $500 maybe????? originally purchased a LG 4k TV at Costco which was on sale and this Samsung is 2x better then that. the motion rate it's pathetic do not turn it on the picture quality is So-so HDR is horrible I guarantee it barely meets the HDR 10 standards and only 1 yes count it 1 HDMI port can actually support 4k 10-bit at 60hz& 50hz and UHD optimized picture quality. Which I can't understand why only one HDMI port ???? But anyways it's a reasonable priced TV for 4K @ $499.00 and it's better than the outdated LCDs and beats the Lg 43uh610 4k HDR $379.00 I'm a budget wise consumer and I don't know if I'm getting enough bang for my buck here undecisive on if I'm keeping this or not or if im just going to fork it over and pay a Little more for the Sony 4k hdr XBR43X800 $699.00

Good size, color is good, better than LG, clear. Not too heavy, have manual push button in case the remote not working, but we do not like the remote itself, not easy to use , the way it works for changing channels and increase or decrease sound are not good at all., may not last long. We 'd rather have the one with all the numbers on the remote itself. Do not know how the repair service by Samsung works. Hope better than other brand.

I didn't think my MacBook Pro late 2013 could output 4K, but it can! But in the meantime, to see the true benefits of 4K, make sure you have 4K media to view. I bought a Roku Ultra 4K streamer to take advantage of this. This TV's upscaling technology is great which makes my PlayStation 4 games look spectacular (as opposed to what you would see on a 1080p TV). Yes, upscaling isn't true native 4K, but you will be able to see a vast improvement in colors and sharpness. PROS: The color is fantastic. I couldn't expect less from a Samsung screen. And the onboard speakers are actually pretty good! However, if you want more bass, you'll have to resort to an external speaker source. CONS: My only gripes with this TV is that you have to view it directly in the front. Any views from the angles (a little to the left or the right) will result in loss of image quality. It is not like an IPS computer monitor screen. Overall: Worth the money considering that a TV like this used to be almost $600. Now is the right time to buy a 4K TV. My only concern is that 8K TVs are already in the making.

Bought this for my folks, to replace an old 27" tube set. I wasn't sure that the size of this would fit the given space allowed for a new set, but I was very pleased that this fit well, and the viewing experience is much better, what I had hoped and expected. Very nice to have something of this quality at this size, as some rooms (and my folks included) do not have settings that will allow set up of the much larger sets. The TV is very nice, the set up takes some time, a lot of different ways to get to your favorite channels, etc., but the remote is something else. TOO COMPLICATED!!!! It was finally abandoned for a much simpler universal remote, with numbers and indicators so you knew what you were pushing and knew what to expect. Colors have been nice, running peripherals through it relatively uncomplicated, access to more channels than needed, due to digital reception rather than going through a converter, has its pros and cons. So far the folks seems happy with it. Just really could have used a simpler, better, remote.

This TV looks great, was easy to install and has great smart features. We use the Netflix and amazon app daily and a few others as well. Only thing we miss is the NPR app that was a favorite on our roku, but we can stream it on you tube so it works out alright. Everything else is great, the frame is thin and looks nice. The screen is easy to clean and color is really nice. Very happy with this purchase.

the tv was on sale so i jumped at it since my parents needed a new one for their living room and this was very cheap for a Samsung HD with smart tv of this size, my biggest issue is the remote, the remote is god awful, i'm very tech savvy and my parents are old, and i was having a lot of trouble using the remote to navigate to the picture settings so i could adjust them....you will need to adjust the picture because the colors look a little blah out of the box, and even after messing with them for a while it still just has an OK picture quality, but for this brand, size, price, and specs its not really worse than I expected.....but you CAN notice the difference between this ($340) and one of the UHD / 4k sets that only cost a few hundred more.....that being said its a good buy for the price...but the remote is the worst remote i've ever seen or used in my life...thankfully we mostly use the cable box remote to control pretty much everything, if you aren't going to use the cable box remote then i suggest buying a universal remote because this thing is awful.

After having problems with 2 Vizio models we purchased this Samsung, and have NOT regretted it at all. The sound and picture quality are fantastic, and it was easy learning to use the functional remote. We would have given this an excellent rating but, there were 2 things that can be annoying at times. The first thing we noticed was that this TV was designed to be wall mounted. That's because, the stand does not evenly distribute the weight of the TV, so there's the possibility of it tipping over if a small child bumps into the entertainment unit. The second thing is the TV itself. Whenever you turn it on, you have to use the remote to locate the source you want to use, rather than staying on TV where it was when we turned it off.
