Purchased this soundbar along with a 55" Samsung 7200 UHD TV. The Direct Connect is fantastic, allowing the soundbar to sync wirelessly with the TV, however a single optical audio cable can also do the trick. The soundbar turns on and off with the TV, which is convenient. My wife was confused as to why we needed a soundbar until I pointed out the ability to easily connect to the system via bluetooth, so she can stream music from her phone. She is no longer questioning my tech purchases. The sound is great, and the wireless subwoofer is fantastic. The satellite speakers are not wireless, but connect to the subwoofer. I placed my subwoofer underneath a coffee table next to our couch so it was out of the way. The surround speakers easily connect to this, with the wires neatly tucked and ran under/behind the couch. There aren't a bunch of distracting flashing lights, and the lcd display on the soundbar is very subtle, simply showing current input selection, switching to volume display upon increasing/decreasing. This product definitely shines when connected to a newer Samsung display that supports the direct connect, however I see no reason why it wouldn't be deserving up equal performance on any other brand. If you're looking for a subtle way to greatly enhance your TV's sound capabilities, i definitely recommend checking out this model.

Sond quality is relatively good, although it does not seem quite as "robust" as it sounded in the store. Bought this sound system because already had a Samsung TV and it was promoted as easy to set up (especially with a Samsung TV). Was relatively easy to do so, although the directions were a little obtuse. Would recommend probably only if friend had a Samsung TV.

I was a bit skeptical with this Soundbar. but I figured I take a chance with it and bought it. So far I love it. Wireless and the rear speakers get connect to a wireless module which I have hidden behind the couch. The sound is absolutely incredible.

Sound bar has wireless subwoofer and wireless rear speakers. With a Samsung Tv, it needs no wire. Great sound. Easy to set up and control.

It's a great sounding theater setup in a small package. I first heard it on display and immediately fell in love. What a great sounding little setup. It has HDMI, Bluetooth, aux, fiber optic connection.... Everything I could have needed. I was hooked. I had to get it. The side speakers are a nice addition but I really like the sound bar. Everything sounds so crisp...

I was looking for more than just a sound bar as I don't feel they produce a surround type sound. This has a wireless Subwoofer & the 2 speakers that go to the back of the room are wired to a small receiver that goes in the back of the room & connects via wireless to the main sound bar. The sound is awesome & where our old sound system had to be turned up to 20 volume to get good sound, this one produces great sound @ level 12 volume. Crank it up & you get great sound without distortion.

The sound from the system is great. Subwoofer is wireless but back speakers are wired to a receiver from that is wireless from the soundbar. Overall I think the product is worth the money.

very easy setup and 4.1 sound. The sound is very smooth and does not require a great deal of volume for clarity. Response to frequency range is great. The wireless satellite receiver for the rear speakers and subwoofer keeps the wires away.

I read a few reviews on a few sound bars and found I liked this one the best, being that it comes with the two back speakers. It sounds amazing.

Happy with the purchase. I bought as open box and got a good deal. There are better units out there but for the price this one is hard to beat.

Open box was missing certain items and as we liked the product so much, we returned the open box and purchased a new one, Customer service was great help. Very easy to setup if you have a Samsung television. Also sounds great.

Easy set up and the sound is awsome. Set up took 10 minutes and did it without instructions cause my wife threw them in the trash to get the mess out of her living room. Connected wirelessly with the tv without me pushing anything.

Great sounds and easy set-up. Love the fact that the rear speakers are wireless and that I don't have to run speaker cable across my living room. Sound is great and the sounds bar looks sharp in front of the TV.

These speakers sound pretty good, I have it in a large room and the sound could stand to be louder but it's fine for normal use.

This is my third samsung soundbar. All are still in use and sound great but this is my favorite. Easy setup, fantastic sound and rumbling lows. Outstanding value.

I bought this item open box so I was a bit concerned until I set it up. Very easy to use and connect to. Great sound for the small room I have it in. I am using it with wireless devices (Bluetooth), Sony PlayStation, and a Samsung TV. Works seamlessly with all.

I was looking for a way to avoid placing speakers in the ceiling or hanging from a bracket. I looked on line and this system was highly recommended. I was a little concerned when I first went to the store and saw the size. I wanted a full sound and was hoping the small speakers were up to the challenge. I was very surprised at the easy of setup and quality of sound from the system. I am not an audiophile, nor a gamer. I just enjoy a room full of sound. This system gave me just what I wanted.

So, I was in the market for 5.1 systems and not looking for clutter and found this 4.1 and got it for $269 during thanksgiving and the reviews are great so i went for it. I have to say i am unimpressed with the sound system as it is not a real surround sound system and the surround sucks. I tried all the settings in the soundbar, tv, comcast and bluray and came up with this review. But it was a decent option for 2.0 and for the price and the rear speakers it made it ok. 4.1? or 2.1 x 2? Basically this is a 2.0 sound bar with same channels mirroring in the back. Whatever comes from front two comes from back and with a subwoofer. If you do select Surround option in your tv/bluray then it will work as a 4.1 surround! It will but the sound from the rear speakers are so low and inconsistent, it is almost like you don't have a surround system. The surround effect from a good sound bar is better than these rear speakers working as surround system. But if you are ok with 2.0 and having rear speakers working as 2.0 in addition to front then you have good sound from front and back but they are just 2 channels. The surround works but it is terrible as a 4.1. Pros: Sleek design and fits on the table stand without blocking the view Great option for price. I paid $270, anything more than that is a waste for this Rear speakers are nice when you don't select surround on your tv/bluray. It mirrors front speakers to back and you hear everything louder and nice. HDMI IN/Out useful for HDMI ARC for TV's Sound is better with Bluray (but not real 4.1 or 5.1) than Online. If you have option with bluray, use it over online Cons: Fake 4.1 surround is a fail. The surround sound is a distaster in design. the sound from rear speakers is so low it doesn't make sense to keep it on. You can keep it 2.0 and have the front mirror to back Subwoofer is not powerful It is not worth more than $270 and anything above that is not worth the value Sound is better with bluray (but not real 4.1 or 5.1) than Online streaming. I really like the sound that comes out of these speakers, it's powerful for the room, easy set up, I would recommend

The only downside to this model is that the 2 rear speakers need to be WIRED to a wireless receiver. The receiver needs to be plugged into an outlet. Its a small negative that allows excellent sound quality.
