Due to CoViD, with no opportunity for in store inspection prior to purchase, I was unaware that the TV was only able to handle the newer systems. I expected it to have both capabilities; it did not. Accordingly, I had to buy additionally an AV to HDMI Converter in order to connect the older systems

I did have some pixels turn green creating vertical and horizontal black lines when it was almost 1 year old. Samsung sent someone to replace the panel. Hopefully it lasts longer than the original since the warranty is about to expire.

My problem is that it doesn't have a sleep timer. This is the size of a bedroom TV, so it should have a sleep timer. If that feature doesn't matter to you, then it's decent value for the money.

Thank you for your review of the TU7000 TV. I have good news! The TU7000 TV does have a Sleep Timer available for you to use.
Simply go to Settings> General> System Manager> Time >Sleep Timer.
You can also utilize Auto Power Off to have the TV turn itself off if there has been no activity for a set period of time. Go to Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off.

One is for my spare room and one for my 80 year old mother's room. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is that the timer is a bit confusing to use. On my older Samsungs it's just one button. For these you have to search for it.
