Sound (volume) is an issue. When you turn in the TV, say SamsungTV channel 1005 the volume is very low, but once you switch to another channel and then back it will be considerably louder! I have the latest software update, but so far all the researches seems to point this same issue out and claim to be the input source. Adding sound bar NW-400 didn’t help. Overall a decent TV, but you will have to live with the volume issue.

I apologize for the inconveniences you have had with the changing sound volume.
It is possibly a source issue. You can also try auto volume Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On
This setting automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input.
You may also want to perform a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test
