Good tv but not the best picture. Had Samsung tv’s for at least 10 years now, always had good clear pictures. This one not as good. Maybe the smaller tv’s not as good as they use to be.

• Cable connection problem: Your Samsung Smart TV is likely to have a black screen issue due to the cable connection problem. Loose connections, damaged cables or inactive power sources are the probable cause of the problem on your TV.
• Sources issue: Moreover, the issue could be caused by the problems associated with the sources such as DVD player, cable box or other external sources. To find out whether the problem is with the sources, press the Menu button on your remote. If the menu appears on the screen of your TV, then the problem is with the sources.
• Inputs setting problem: The black screen issue could be due to the inputs setting problem. Your TV might be set on a wrong input. Ensure that your TV is set to the correct input to avoid this issue.

I have had this tv for 2 weeks and it is the worst tv ever. Every time I turn it on the screen I see picture 2 seconds then it goes black. I have to unplug every time so it can reset. I also have issues with the volume. when we use the dvd player we get no sound. Unplug it again and then we get sound. This is a bedroom TV so we have to crawl under a dresser every night. And to get enough volume to watch tv the volume has to be set at 35....really? The amount of playing around we have to do with this tv it just isn't worth this much money.

Haven’t even had this two years and the tv is now not turning on. It’s just blinking on and off. I was told to unplug it and plug it back in, it doesn’t work. I spent almost $300 hoping for a tv that’ll last me for a while…. Now I have to buy a brand new tv (because it’s almost $1,000 with service fees and charges to fix it), and the lowest prices tv that is the same size is more money than what I can afford.

I bought this TV a couple of months ago and was so excited to get it, as it is my first Samsung TV and I heard great things. My TV does not stay connected to the internet and I have to spend 10 or so minutes getting it back. It does this many times each day. Then, about a month ago (after only having it for a month), a black line appeared across the TV in the middle of a show and hasn’t left. This TV was a waste of money and I will be buying a trusted Insignia to replace it and will never buy a Samsung TV again.

You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.
Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings >Support> Device Care> Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test

Bought a smart tv to make. My life easier. This tv has done the opposite. Was very annoying that I had to register and give my info to make a Samsung account. Half the apps don’t work. Support button doesn’t work. Tried to put in my firestick so I can watch my stuff tv doesn’t let me watch. And tv won’t accept it. List of devices you can choose from and firestick not one of them. Would be happier with a non smart TV and just use my firestick which is so easy to use. Tv picture does look great though.

Have had issues with the sound on the HDMI inputs. Occasionally, the input into one of the HDMI ports loses sound. I have to unplug the HDMI cable and reinsert to fix.

Starting to flicker, turn off and turn back on don't know what's wrong but hopefully nothing serious. Will return and get a different tv if this becomes a constant problem. Noticed it's a bit lag to it too.

With high frequency the screen has a bluish-green pixelated smearing when starting. The only real way to fix it is to unplug the tv and then plug it back in. I've had to do this about 10 times since purchasing.

Internet: Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.
Automatically: You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. The TV updates automatically while you are watching. When the background update is completed, it is applied the next time the TV is turned on. If you agree to the Smart Hub terms and conditions, Auto Update is set to On automatically. If you want this function disabled, use the Select button to turn it off. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

TV is good, but one things is not good. Colors is looks not real and we need to correct them. Screen had to much blue color. We manually correct colors but it continue be not natural.

It’s ok. Hard to judge a tv anymore when you are attached to cable. I’d just rather have an antenna and stream as we did in Colorado but just moving to Tucson I wasn’t sure of the reception

Not happy with this TV. Too wide for my stand so had to put it in the bedroom. Sleep timer is complicated 4-step procedure in stead of a simple button on the remote. As though Samsung was thinking "let's make this user UNFRIENDLY as possible". Picture and sound just ok. Over-priced on top of all that! Would have returned tv but missed the very narrow 15-day return window. By the time I could get Geek Squad appointment to install that return window had slammed shut.

The Samsung remote has no means to control my DirecTV Genie so I had no DVR functionality. Also, the remote could display the menu on my Roku Ultra, but that's all - no control over that either as the directional buttons did nothing. I updated the software but no joy.
This was very frustrating so I returned the TV the next day and chose a more slightly expensive LG with LG's Magic Remote which works!
The picture quality on the Samsung is only fair.
