Almost 3 years old and it decides to take control of itself. Changes vol on it's own, turns on by itself. The manual button under the television does not respond to it's function either. Very smart TV it is.

I posted a positive review of this tv on a wrong size, and actually this is the one i bought: 43"
Is it normal to hear noises coming out from the back of the tv when you turn it on, like clicks
And oh surprise I just got from work to play some ps4 and i started to get green screen today, changed it to tv then back to ps4 and it fixed it, but i know this is the beginning of something bad, brand new tv with some defects, crap!! What a shame because i loved the tv
Id like to know the samsung warranty and if future updates could patch the issues. note: the tv is on the latest software update
So upset, its a really nice tv, and my very first 4k

Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV. The expansion and contraction of the TV's outer casing may cause a popping noise. This does not indicate a product malfunction. The TV is safe to use.
I am very sorry for the color glitch issue you encountered. I am glad to hear that your TV has the latest firmware update, which should resolve this specific issue.
Please be sure to reset the TV after it has been updated by either unplugging the AC for 20 seconds (or) pressing and holding the power butting until the TV turns off then back on.
Should your issue persist, or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Samsung Customer Support.

I do not recommend purchasing this TV. I owned this for less than 24 hours before returning it for a better (and cheaper) Toshiba 43 inch Smart TV. The blacks/darks on this TV make it impossible to enjoy any show that has a darker cinematic style. Tried to watch Mandalorian on Disney+, which I’ve seen before, and I couldn’t even get through one episode because I couldn’t make out what was going on. Save yourself some time and frustration, and get the 43 inch Toshiba Smart TV!

Do not buy this TV or the sound bar. They will only drive you crazy. The TV constantly disconnects from the internet, the soundbar constantly disconnects from the TV. The interface is slow and awful. The remote is a nightmare design. I HATE THIS TV AND SOUNDBAR SO MUCH!! Why not return it, because most of this stuff started after the shore 2 week window allowed by Best Buy, Do not buy from them either. The stuff ended up being shipped through Amazon somehow so buy from them, the return policy is better. But most of all DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your TV. I understand your frustration and disappointment.
You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.
Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings >Support> Device Care> Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
Detailed troubleshooting instructions can be found on page 119 of the E-Manual. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202004/20200402125724749/KT2ATSCT-2.0.0_EM_KANTS_USA_ENG-US_200309.1.pdf
To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. I hope this helps to solve your concerns. Should you need further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support.
Registering your product gives you access to easy warranty support, convenient opt-in to special promos and offers, faster troubleshooting and service, and quick notification of system updates.

This tv could not have worse picture quality. If a scene is even remotely dark, you’re not going to be able to tell what’s happening. No matter how many settings we have changed, dark scenes just look horrible.
To add on, this device frequently looses connection to the internet, which requires troubleshooting every time.
Finally, if you have any external devices connected, you will always get an error message if they are powered off.
Could not be more disappointed in this purchase or the quality of this tv.

I bought this in July 2020 from Best Buy, and in December 2021, the picture went completely out -- only had sound. I hadn't purchased any extended warranty plan, so I was just a few months out of the 1-year warranty, and Samsung wanted to charge me nearly $200 just to come out, and that wouldn't include any necessary parts. I opted to try a local repair shop in Dallas, Atlas Electronics, which I would not recommend to anyone: they first didn't fix my TV and on the 2nd try, ended up doing something that caused there to be I assume dead pixels --- tons of noticeable black specks on the screen, at least a dozen, that you see as you watch content and most noticeably, when scrolling through the main menu of AppleTV which is the main thing I use my TV for (no cable). I'm now carefully watching pricing and reviews before replacing my living room TV and will likely have to pony up for the 4 or 5 year Best Buy warranty to not be stuck in this type of situation again! SO disappointed that manufacturers prefer to have us just toss electronics in the trash and buy new every small handful of years (this didn't even last 2 years) vs. backing their products/offering up ways to repair!

This TV does not qualify as a smart TV. It is ridiculously complicated to set up and the channel choices that come ‘free’ from Samsung are things that no one would ever watch. The remote control is difficult to use and impossible to see at night. Who wants to have to turn on a light just to change the channel?
This TV is being returned and I doubt I will buy anything Samsung brand again.

I loved the fast shipping, it came earlier than expected date but it had several pigmentation dmg (not sure what it is) on the bottom of the screen so I had to return it for exchange. Customer help via chat was accurate and fast and it wasn't too bad til then. However.... 2nd one I got came in 2 days, when I opened it up and turned on it didn't have any dmg on the screen so I was so happy but then... sigh... I safely entered my wifi setting and it worked perfect but then I found a serious problem: both HDMI port on the back of the TV it wasn't the right size. I tried with the brand new HDMI cable I just bought for this TV and the one I already had for my PC Monitor. Both fit in my desktop and laptop but they dont fit in HDMI 1 and 2 ports on TV. While trying I found out that the right side edge of the screen had a noticeable gap, unlike left side (it was closed tight) I asked for help from Best Buy but their ans was just return it when I wanted one more exchange, it took 2 hrs for me to talk to Geek Squad and what she helped me with was return only label not exchange so I gotta return it now. 2 TVs I got, brand new, not refurbished had super big flaws. (it's from Bronx Terminal store) Maybe I'll just return, get a refund and buy some TV somewhere else not from Best Buy. Period.

Hi Paul,
Thank you for your feedback on the Samsung TU7000 regarding the picture quality and sound. Your input is important to us and will be shared with the internal product teams.
To help you better enjoy your TV, we recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps to enhance your picture quality and sound.
Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the image settings to your taste with additional functions.
Additionally, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal sound preferences. Change the Sound Mode by going to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.
You can customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings.
I hope this helps you enjoy your experience.
