Great quality. Love the art feature! Makes it super discreet. Really looks like a framed print on the wall!

Pretty much what I expected after reading reviews. With the white bezel it blends perfectly with the painted white wood over my bedroom fireplace. All cables are perfectly hidden. Picture is very good. I have FiOS from Verizon. Set the STB to 1080p and let the TV upscale. Awesome that I can connect my Bluetooth headset and listen without bothering my wife while she sleeps. Only dings, and they're minor for me, are the light and motion sensors. The light sensor is too aggressive as it causes the display to dim far too much. I have the brightness manually cranked up to override automatic dimming. The motion sensor is not reliable for turning the screen art on when someone enters the room. But it's a beautiful TV as well you can see in the photo. There, it's displaying a photo that I uploaded using the handy app on my phone.

This TV is my dream. I love that it makes more of a decor statement vs electronic statement. I love not seeing cords. The art feature is costumizable and easy to use.

This TV works fine but what sets it apart is the fabulous art and the ability to add your own photos and artwork. When not used for video, it looks like a framed painting and is gorgeous. My family has had fun uploading photos and changing them so that each day there's a new image. Everyone who sees it is surprised it's a TV.

It's pretty cool to have a TV that looks like art - we subscribed for the Samsung art gallery as well (an additional $5/month) and it opens the door to many famous art galleries! This works really well in a room with less windows.

Its sticks out like 1.5" from the wall looks like a large picture frame but them turn it on and bam a television. Samsung make the off condition look like a mirror and you'll sell millions. Oh wait you do.

My friends thought it was just a giant picture frame - (I hid all my cables behind the wall and it sits flush to the wall) - until we started watching TV and they were so impressed they wanted one.

We bought the 43" version of this TV and have 3 other regular Samsung TVs in our house. Overall, they have served us well with the exception of a 75" that was dead on arrival. This TV is beautiful and art looks great on it. It also functions well as a TV though it can't compete with Samsung's higher end LCD and QLED models. Here's the catch, the reason I spent double what a normal TV costs is because I can show ART and its presented in a believable manner. I didn't buy paintings because I like to change the art frequently. This TV DOES NOT HAVE A SLIDESHOW OPTION! You can't do this via the TV or the clunky anemic SmartView app. If the capability to display art is its differentiator, how on earth can you not include the very basic option of having pictures cycle? This is the main feature that stuck out but there are many other very simple art features that are absent....do your research! My hope was that the Smartview app would get better and allow this simple software change, sadly it hasn't had a makeover in some time and I have no faith that this functionality will every be added. The app has a one-star rating and is probably one of the worst I have ever seen and your lucky if it even remains connected to the TV without dropping off. Given that a number of art display features are missing, I would can't recommend this TV.

Mike M.,
Thank you for sharing your user experience of the Samsung 43" Class The Frame 4K UHD TV. I am very sorry that you were not completely satisfied with the slideshow function and the Smartview app.
Please know that you can use The Frame for slideshows by connecting the TV to a USB source -- such as a USB flash -- and selecting TV mode. When The Frame is set to TV mode, the thumb drive will be listed under “Sources.” Once you select the thumb drive, choose the button "Options", and select "Loop" to enable the auto slideshow feature. Here is the link to the eManual, where you will find the detailed guide on page 45-46:

Although Art Mode does not offer the option of auto slideshow at this time, our engineering team is working on a firmware that will update the current Frame TVs with an auto rotation feature.
Once we have more information on the release date, we will update this review with another manufacturer post.
If there is anything we can do to further assist and improve your 1-star user experience with The Frame, please do let us know by contacting Samsung Customer Support via the following options:
