The picture is great and is even better than my Panasonic plasma. Only issue is the side lit LEDs since you can experience flash lighting especially in 3D and depending on the settings. Everything worked great for two weeks but had to adjust the sound and picture when it started to have issues with the flash lighting and low audio. Seems at this price range it would be full array LEDs. The over all size is smaller than my 42" plasma and way thinner. Another downside is the lack of additional RCA or component connections since you basically have 4 HDMI and 1 component/RCA connection with USBs which are useless unless you stream movies from a flash drive. The screen is way reflective like a plasma so it is better in a dark room. Also you can't view from as wide of angle as a plasma. The audio is amazing for how thin the TV is. Was debating about giving the TV 4 stars but over all it is a nice set..

Best TV hands down that I've owned. Sound would be my only complaint, but the picture more than makes up for that.

This TV has excellent picture quality all around a great TV, I only have one two cons for me, the speaker need to have a separate system, the ones in the TV are basically useless. I paired mine with a Bose Sound Bar and its great. I have not tried it for gaming yet but I am sure it will work and look great with the 24) Hz refresh rate.

Great picture. Good sound. Easy to use. The Smart TV feature is interesting. Was not looking for a 3D TV but the picture in the showroom was great so I bought and after a few days watched a 3D movie. I was amazed at the 3D picture.

This is by far the best television I have ever owned. I own 4 HDTVs. A Panasonic 50" Plasma 2012 model - By FAR the worst Television set I have ever had. NEVER GO PLASMA!!! a 40" Samsung LED backlit LCD 2008 model -> Better than my Panasonic - a Toshiba 32" LED backlit LCD - Also better than my Panasonic (I don't understand why people think plasma is the best still, IMO they are the worst televisions to ever exist (BURNS ALWAYS HAPPEN... NO MATTER WHAT BS PANASONIC FEEDS YOU... THIS PANASONIC IS MARKETED SAYING THERE IS NO MORE BURNING... I HAVE BROKE IT IN FOR 2+ YEARS NOW... STILL VERY PREVALENT BURNS AFTER ONLY SEVERAL MINUTES OF VIEWING-> LAST FOR HOURS!. Back to the TV I'm reviewing... Samsung has improved their blacks through the use of Micro Dimming, The blacks are as good, if not better than my Panasonic Plasma, and of course the brights are amazing. The only regret I have for purchasing this TV is not getting the 55" model. IT IS AMAZING!!!

Purchased TV to replace old large projection. What a difference, picture quality is outstanding. HD and even 3D capable, although I did not need a "smart" TV, sales rep explained the extra technology inside made for a much better picture and performance. So far very satisfied.

Best picture we have ever seen in an in home television. Love the touch remote and smart tv features. We paid more than we had planned for a new tv, but no regrets so far.

The Samsung LED 1080 is a good quality TV, has a clear picture, and lots of nice features.We have it in our bedroom and we love it. Since it is a Smart TV, it has a streamer built right in so we can watch Netflix without having to purchase a seperate streaming device.

Love the TV but the remote is extremely touchy and not a standard layout, a lot of setup that will be tough for a lot of people.

I was hesitant of spending that much money on a TV but when my brother show me what the tv can do and the clarity of the tv. I was amazed. The 3D is awsome a little pricey but well worth it. I would recommend this TV.:-)

This TV is the perfect size for any home living room! The picture quality is great in many lighting conditions. HD movies and television on this LED is the best I have ever seen. The remote is tricky to use, however!

The TV works awesome, I stream movies from my own PC, music, and Netflix. 3D works wonderful, the 3D glasses use the batteries kind of fast. Fast menu selection, even with voice selection works quickly.

This was my first Samsung Smart TV I purchased. It has a great picture being a 240hz TV. Really stunning.... I am watching way too much TV now but am extremely happy with the quality of this TV. Along with it I purchased a Samsung camera for Skype, a Samsung DVD Blue Ray player, a Samsung keyboard for ease in navigating the internet and YouTube, and a soundbar. Spent a few bucks but I am a very happy camper. Love the picture quality. For me, I needed a better sound than just that from the TV so I also purchased a soundbar too (I first had a Samsung soundbar but returned it for a Flisch soundbar that had more response with the woofer). The picture and the sound is now awesome.

Very nice tv. Small enough for bedroom and light enough to mount by yourself. Lots of cool features. Bright enough to be used in rooms with lots of light and the auto sensor adjusts pretty well for night time viewing.

I was in the market for a new TV since I recently sold my 42 inch LG. I wanted an item that had great picture and had smart capabilities. This TV has the best quality picture I have ever purchased so far. The faces from watching movies are so clear. There are so many apps and the browsing on the internet browser works great. The only thing that sucks are the dark/black scenes. It is very hard to see objects/picture when it is a dark scene in a movie. I really didn't test the sound since I bought a sound bar the same day I bought this TV.

I love this TV. I bought this TV because my 10 year old Samsung TV finally died. I'm very glad I bought this one. The TV picture clarity is amazing. The 240hz motion makes the pictures jump off the screen. Even the 3D set up and use is easy. It makes my non 3D movies compatible. I love this TV.

Love the picture quality but the setup was somewhat difficult. The newly styled mouse style remote with touch pad makes setup very tedious. No numbers forces extra steps and time. The wireless set up would not take. Still working on this one.

TV was easy to set up. Great resolution/picture especially for playing on xbox. Has all the smart tv features and 3d capabilities that the kids like.
