Our old TV stopped working well. I saw ad for this TV with a great price. It has all the features we wanted, including 4K resolution and all the internet connectivity of modern TVs. It has a great picture. We had a 40 inch TV screen originally. This TV screen is 45 inches, yet it is physically the same size as the TV it replaced. Very easy hookup to the internet and to the external sound system we use. Our price was fantastic, due to deep discounting and price matching.

Set out to buy a TV in the $500- range. After researching reviews, brands and finally item capabilities we decided to jump up in price bracket because this TV gives $1000- TV's a run for their money. It takes up the same amount of space as the prior TV but appears much bigger because the other had such a chunky frame. Hopefully we will never need to use the extended warranty!

When I was looking for a TV and checked on this one, I found a few nay sayers out there on the review list, not sure what they didn't like!! I've had mine for a while now and it is great! Can't wait for there to be more 4K viewing available, but I would rather be ahead of the curve than behind it! Bluerays and Netflix (some 4K) along with cable, the picture is unreal. There's always going to be somebody that complains, go with the majority and your usaully safe!!!

The picure is outstanding. Samsung really seems to have a lock on this. The upscaling is effective and smooth. One thing to be aware of: if you're running this in a home theatre system, this TV wants to control everything. I run my video signal through an amplifier that also wants to control everything...a conflict I resolved in the TV's settings through its Setup menu.

I was looking to upgrade my 46 lcd tv to save on electric as my kids use it constantly for gaming. I wasn't looking for a 4k tv but couldn't pass on this deal and it still uses half the electricity of my old one. The sound is great for a flat screen. The clear voice setting is excellent. The picture is perfect and the refresh rate is adequate for PS4 gaming. Having a built in web browser and not just web apps is another bonus. I'm very happy with this tv.

I have had my tv for about a month now and I have zero Byers remorse! I stood in my local Best Buy store and watched and measured tvs for a couple of hours. The store representative was very knowledgable and patient while I made my decision. In the end this tv was my choice. The color is bright, the picture is so crisp its stunning. Even the non HD shows have been upscaled to quality that I didn't think possible. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Little worried at 48' but it works, the picture is crystal clear and the tv is very easy to set up...!!!!!!

I bought this TV to replace a 27" CRT TV that was taking up way to much room in my bedroom. I am very pleased with the picture and amazed at how light this TV is. It was very easy to mount on a wall bracket that was high on my wall that I needed a ladder to get to. The TV setup process was easy and with some minor fine tuning of the picture settings you get a great picture that is to your prference. I would recommend this TV to my friends.

After reviewing many TV's on-line, in store, and reading Consumer Reports, I purchased the low-end Samsung 4K - the TV was "ok" but suffered from a noticeable "judder" problem when watching movies with action scenes. After deciding this was a no-go for us, we exchanged the set for the Sony - the picture is more brilliant, it has absolutely no judder, and we love it. The only negative is the sound quality is a tad worse.

Crisp picture, easy to use. It's a TV that I would buy again, especially for a good price.
