Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Please note that I had to cancel the order since the scheduled appointment for installation was changed, the second attempt for installation the person never showed up or called to indicate he/she was behind schedule. Never heard back from Best Buy to reschedule, I had to reach out myself and they were not able to accommodate me, even made trip to local Best Buy to speak with a manager but was left to deal with a sales associate who did his best to assist me. Very disappointed in Best Buy/Geek squad not willing to readjust installation schedule to fit my needs especially since the problem originated with Beat Buy.

Ball Shadow = Bad

I get the ball shadow when the QB throws it and it infuriates me. I would not purchase this TV again even at a major discount.

Beautiful picture quality!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV as a replacement for a 10+ year old 1080p LCD TV. Setup was incredibly easy--pop in the legs, set up the remote (very simple) and off you go. I expected to have to call my cable provider, fight with cords and equipment compatibility... I had none of that. Granted, I just had to connect it to a cable box and my PS3. I haven't used the apps yet since this whole "smart TV" thing is new to me. Anyway, the picture is incredibly crisp and the motion rate being 120 makes sports and other high-movement shows visually flawless. I can see details I've never seen before and I feel like the picture is clearer than my eyes can even see. Check this thing out in the store and you'll want to snatch it up like I did.

BE-YOOO-TEEE-FUL PICTURE!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this particular tv because I wanted a samsung (i own 2 of them from 5+ years ago and THEY worked with no flaws whatsoever) and because I particularly wanted the FULL ARRAY backlighting. They tookòòoòa little more to do to set it up properly than my old samsungs but nothing I could not handle. I am using it with altice one, it works fine there. The tv came with a few apps, some I will use, others not so much. It has an internet browser and the remote is easy to use with that but there is bluetooth to Google up keyboard and mouse. There are plenty of ports and if you lose the remote, there are easy to use full function buttons on the set. As I get a bit more use with this awesome tv I will be sure to update.

Beware Open Box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I called up Best Buy and asked about the condition of an open boxed Q70r and was told that it had minor scratches and a missing remote. I asked if any were on the screen and was told "No, we wouldn't sell it if it had scratches on the screen". So I drive an hour each way to pick it up. Once home I unpacked it and the screen was filthy. After cleaning I could see a deep scratch. It is visible while the TV is on and Im sitting 8 feet away. Best Buy described the condition as; Open-Box Satisfactory Minor to moderate cosmetic signs of use possible Any signs of use will not impact performance Nonessential parts or accessories may be missing I'd say a visible scratch from 8 feet away impacts performance.
