This Samsung 49” OLED monitor is amazing! I was nervous to get a ultra wide screen because I was so used to using a 27” but now using a 49” is nice I really like it a lot and I won’t be switching back to the 27” to play games on. It’s 240hz and you can use it as a multi screen and tv it’s fantastic! I totally recommend

This monitor delivers an impressive experience overall. The picture quality is crisp, the colors are vibrant, and the curved display really pulls you into whatever you’re doing — whether that’s gaming, streaming, or multitasking. For modern content and everyday use, it feels like a premium upgrade. Where it runs into limitations is game compatibility. Because of the monitor’s ultrawide aspect ratio, not every title can take advantage of the full screen. Some older games — and even a surprising number of newer ones — simply don’t offer native support for this resolution. When that happens, you’re left with black bars on the sides or a stretched image that doesn’t look quite right. This isn’t a flaw with the monitor itself, but it’s something to be aware of if you play a wide range of games. Not all developers include ultrawide options, and that means you won’t always get to enjoy the full immersive width of the display.

My goodness, fabulous monitor for DCS! A combat flight simulator. Oled is really good, the blacks are black, no backlight bleed, and the wide screen really makes the simulator immersive. Bypassed all the smart stuff, took awhile to get the monitor to be recognized by my computer, but one it did, no issues, I use NVIDIA to set up the color. Assembly was simple, never even looked at instructions , didn’t need them. also the lake Jackson staff Texas, was very helpful, and attentive. Would this be my first choice for a productivity monitor? Umm nope, but for gaming or sims, it’s stellar.

It's a gorgeous monitor, I'm a big gamer and tech enthusiast. Upgraded from the original CRG9, I didn't think OLED could look this much better! You can see every little detail in dark scenes, and black is BLACK. There's just no description that works, you have to see it! 240hz has been great, most games can't reach close to that using a 7900xtx. Highly recommend if you find a good price, no burn in over 4 months of heavy gaming use. I did buy best buys burn in warranty just in case though. The smart features are a small annoyance with popups when it turns on/wakes but otherwise it's fine.

This monitor served me well. My goal was to have an ultra wide screen that allowed me to multi-task, and I was able to do just that, easily. I could use numerous programs at the same time. I like the intelligent features and software, the remote is useful too. I enjoyed the sound quality and general value. Basically everything was as expected - however you should definitely invest in the right cables as those can create issues if you don't have the right hookup. Also note, not all games are compatible with widescreen.

This monitor is phenomenal. We have a Samsung Frame TV that is incredible and this monitor is a smaller version of the TV. It has the same layout to be able to watch many different streaming services but then can function as a computer monitor. Instead of multiple monitors, it's large enough to open multiple windows that are easily viewable. I highly recommend this monitor and plan to buy another for my son's gaming PC.

I got this in open box excellent condition. Of the bat the monitor is gorgeous and easy to setup. But it has many issues so I would not recommend getting this at full price. First gsync does not work properly in this monitor even though it is advertised as gsync compatible. It starts flickering when it is enabled. Turning on HDR doesn't bring any visible benefit probably because it is only hdr400 rated. It sometimes doesn't detect when the computer is turned on, you have to manually turn the monitor on using the remote, or unplug and replug the input cable. The menu is slow, it takes a few seconds to respond. Every time the monitor is turned on, it pops up the quick menu which can't be turned off. That said, if you can love with these issues, the monitor is awesome, the extra real estate is great for productivity and games that support the resolution. Also Samsung support is useless, they asked me to contact Nvidia for the gsync issues.

I purchased both this OLED 49” model and the 100R and the OLED model hands down is better. The base takes up less space, the curve is less dramatic, and th picture, good god the picture is a sight to behold. I read a lot of opinions on the G9 OLED and was worried about the brightness. I feel this monitor is plenty bright. Text for productivity work is just fine. There is nothing I have seen that makes me worried. I am not sure why they wanted to add the apps and a remote but none of that really matters IMO. Games look amazing. This monitor takes your gaming to the next level.

This monitor looks amazing. It'll take a bit to get used to the text on this screen if you're coming from a regular LED monitor, but eventually you get used to it and it's great. I don't use mine much for gaming mainly productivity. The 49 inch size is perfect for that. Taking one star off for Tizen OS which is the smart TV operating system on this display. Very cumbersome and unnecessary on a computer monitor.

Coming from a 32”, the Samsung G9 is a big jump in quality and form, from its immersive 49 inch screen to its crips OLED display, this is a powerhouse for gaming or productivity.

I brought this monitor to my work center and has dramatically increased my productivity as it is so easy to navigate using one large monitor rather than 2 or more. If you deal with multiple websites or applications at once this is definitely the best monitor to use! During your break you can switch over to Netflix and watch your shows and movies while on lunch too then see the boss coming and instantly switches back to your computer view!

The first time I turned it on and checked out the pictures I have taken, it was immediately obvious how OLED is the best for color accuracy and contrast. My wife thought OLED was just a gimmick and didn't see a reason for paying extra for it. Now she is convinced and wants to replace our main TV next year. I only have a RTX 3080 and I can see that I am hitting a GPU bottleneck. But with the settings dialed back it is amazing for gaming. I am looking forward to working on my photography projects and gaming on this display. Worth every penny!

Good lord what an upgrade! I was unsure if I would like the ultra wide and was ready to return if I did not. You don’t know what you are missing until to try this! Not only do I have a top notch gaming monitor with fantastic refresh speeds but room to pull up work related tasks across a 49 inch workspace! I love the crisp image and screen - you would not be able to pry this away from me now!

Have had this monitor mainly for games for about 2 years. Phenomenal quality and experience. Only down size is some games dont support the resolution but most do.

Really amazing, got this for school / work and it can be configured for dual input and split the screen like 2 virtual monitors or one big one. Still pretty safe to say it'll stay relevant, it's around a thousand dollars for a GPU that'll push full resolution at max framerates. My PS5 also works good at 120fps and 1440p resolution, centers the screen on a 16:9 ratio. It'll push full resolution but not with the 32:9 ratio, maybe Playstation will update someday. Overall very satisfied almost 10 months after purchase.

Solid 49" monitor that is an excellent upgrade from the non-OLED variant. However, given the price point, it might be best to wait for a 4K version of this, unless you're coming from something that is far inferior. Also, despite all the mixed reviews on the Tizen OS, it is not at all bothersome and I believe the added processor does positively impact image quality. At the very least, it offers more options for correcting and controlling the HDR image. Lastly, I welcome the added remote. Albeit small, it removes the annoyance of fiddling with the under-monitor controls to change settings. You can lean back and change them easily with the remote. Oh, and the issues people have been having with text legibility, I have not been having. Just use ClearType to calibrate the monitor. I am deducting one star because of its perceived value at this price point: should be a 4K display at this price point, I think.

M2 Max MBP works at full res - albeit limited to 120hz - when using DP input. Image quality is a bit overly saturated, very high in wow factor.

This is the best monitor that I have ever owned! Everything from the screen to the design is phenomenal. Every time I power it on, I fall in love with it all over again. I primarily use it for gaming, but sometimes I'll kick back and watch some movies on it, which again I find quite enjoyable. I suppose my only drawback is that the monitor has a refresh rate issue. Outside of this small setback, the monitor is superb for gaming, and the curve of the screen will immerse you even deeper into it. The colors and blacks are also great, thanks to the screen's technology. The screen's refresh rate and response time are also very apparent whilst gaming. All in all, I 100% recommend this monitor for those looking for a great time while gaming.

After having been using this 49" OLED monitor for about 3 or 4 months, I can say, it's absolutely fantastic. The colors are vibrant and the blacks are true black. The included free TV that Samsung includes (internet required) has tons of various options to choose from. The XBOX cloud gaming interface allows the user to enjoy games on Game Pass or games synced with your XBOX account. Using the PIP or PBP (Picture By Picture) allows for 2 sources on the screen at the same time. One thing I've found is, you cannot stream the Samsung TV or XBOX at the same time as a monitor. The speakers are adequate and sound nice, especially watching the TV or gaming. Comes with a handy remote, great for navigating the TV and the menus. The monitor also has Bluetooth, easy to connect wireless controllers for the XBOX feature.

Absolutely excellent purchase, from the colors to refresh rate it’s the one monitor to rule them all. It also has a built in Roku type thing and I can use it as a regular tv. Has back light LED to have colors pop off behind the monitor! I’ve had dozens of monitors and this one isn’t going anywhere
