I scored this incredible monitor during the 4th of July sale at such a low price I’d rather not say . Originally bought a used one that accidentaly was missing parts, but Best Buy made the return process quick and painless. They found me a brand-new unit that could be delivered in 2 days. The Samsung Odyssey G9 looks stunning in my setup—perfect for productivity and absolutely jaw-dropping for gaming. Whether I’m crunching numbers in Excel or racing in the F1 simulator, this monitor performs like a masterpiece worthy of an art gallery. If I could give it 20/5 stars, I would!

I bought this to upgrade my monitor and before was using 3 different monitors so wanted to save some desk space and this was a great find. Easily can run up to 3 screens or 2 with good size screen for gaming and using other programs simultaneously with no latency. The screen positions are really customizable, allowing you to have options. I have no issues since I have purchased it and absolutely love the monitor

Beautiful monitor. Very pricey but well worth it! Beautiful colors and it is capable of 4k at 60 hertz for console gaming (PS5) at 16:9 ratio. Great for pc gaming but make sure your PC can utilize it. Happy with my purchase. It is also mountable on the wall. It does have a glossy finish on the screen but it doesn’t distract while gaming with reflections. Smart TV feature is a plus to relax and watch streaming services.

This is a really nice monitor! PbP has been really useful. It’s definitely very large, but that’s to be expected of an ultrawide. Most of my gripes with it are the UI, which is pretty bad, and I’m hoping Samsung does an overhaul and/or an optimization pass on it. Motion is fluid and has a a strong black-depth level in the colors. If the UI gets updated/overhauled I’d consider bumping it up to a 5 stars. Note: I purchased mine Open-Box (Excellent).

It's a great monitor. Sharp image, large sizes is great for lots of information, but turns off intermittently during games.

I love the monitor but when my connected HP laptop wakes from sleep mode sometimes the view is distorted. The screen is shrunk horizontally and unreadable. This never happens when I am connected to my desktop PC

This super nice Monitor fits my 32:9 games perfectly and is a great monitor for Production type work. You can use dual inputs for 2 computers or segment your windows it is like having 3 monitors. Has a nice stand that does not use up the entire desk. the OLED colors are vivid and at a 240 refresh rate, there is no lag in gaming. I would replace my top 2 monitors with one of these if i could find a way to mount it.

Best Screen ever!! The picture, sound, interface make this the best monitor for me hands down. I paired it with 2 Samsung smaller monitors and it’s amazing. This is my main game play screen.

Hey, I wanted to share my experience with the Odyssey OLED G9 monitor. First off, this thing is a beast when it comes to specs. Picture a 49-inch curved display with an astonishing 5120 x 1440 resolution. Whether I'm gaming or working, this monitor delivers. If you're a Macbook M1 user like me, here's a tip: use the DisplayPort to USB connection to get that full 5120 x 1440 resolution. It's totally worth it. And don't forget to use Variable Refresh Rate to keep text looking crystal clear; — there is a difference, no annoying pixelation here. Now, for PC gaming, the HDMI 2.1 support with 12-bit color depth is a game-changer. I found that using HDMI is the way to go. Just make sure you've got the right cables handy. Once everything's set up correctly, the clarity is just amazing. Text is super sharp, and the colors are vibrant. Whether I'm in the middle of an intense gaming session or working on projects, the Odyssey OLED G9 impresses. In my experience, this monitor strikes a perfect balance between gaming and productivity. It's not just a screen; it's an immersive experience. If you're in the market for a versatile monitor, give the Odyssey OLED G9 a serious look. It won't disappoint.

Simply put; this is the best ultawide monitor on the market. The massive QD-OLED panel is absolutely stunning, even before you take the 240 hz refresh rate into account. This bleeding edge combination makes this a dream for a PC gamer looking for the ultimate in immersive gaming experiences. If you're considering this monitor; you're likely one of these select few who always want the best of the best when it comes to gaming components (and can afford to go that route), and having experienced it myself- IT ABSOLUTELY LIVES UP TO THE HYPE. If you can fit this 49 inch behemoth on your desktop, and into your gaming budget, you will absolutely not be disappointed. Not only is this the best OLED panel in it's class, but it's also got all the features of a smart TV as well; so you've got every bell and whistle you could ever want on top of a stunning OLED panel. If you've got the system for it; this should be at the very top of your "short list". As amazing as I expected this to be based on specs and reviews; seeing it with my own eyes was absolutely shattered my every expectation. If you're looking for the best of the best, and you've got the space for it on your desktop (and in your wallet)... this is a "no-brainer".

Surpassed all my expectations. It’s definitely a step up from my previous super ultra wide 1080p. I haven’t run into any issues, it is an excellent purchase in my opinion. Goes well with my two other monitors, Samsung G55 QHD

Coming from a Samsung Odyssey CRG9 49", this OLED G9 49" is a fantastic upgrade. Great for both work and gaming. Vibrant colors and a great frame rate for gaming! - FYI: For split Picture by Picture from different sources, WiFi must be connected. That's the only down size I see from this monitor other than that I still give it a 5 out 5.

At first this ultrawide frustrated me because it wanted SO bad to be a smart TV and not just an external monitor for my laptop which is why I bought it. However, once I figured everything out and got running smoothly this is one of the best tech purchases I've ever made. No more wrangling clunky external monitors and wires all over my desk, crystal clear resolution, and to be honest quite a statement piece; everyone that comes to visit comments on it when they see it. So yeah if you're considering and you have the $$, I say go for it!

I love this monitor! I went with this one because of the sale price. I was trying to get a curved gaming monitor and saw this one on sale. The set up was easy for one person, but you have to be careful about positioning it. A second person to plug it up as I pushed it into place would have been helpful, but I was able to do it with some caution. This monitor comes equipped with Samsung TV capabilities and is amazing. I thought it was just a computer monitor when I bought it. Imagine my pleasant surprise to realize I had a TV and PC all-in-one. It comes with a remote control and has amazing picture quality. The best part was that it dropped again in price the next week and it was easy to get my price match online.

Its great, I love the monitor. The payment at store was smooth and was able to get in and out in 20 minutes. The display is bright. I can fit three browser at time to get my things done. The best part is the sount of the speakers installed, its surround sound and depending on whether you are running video from left aligned browser or right the sound comes from there. If you get bored of the monitor you have 130+ live tv channels plus I logged into all my streaming services to watch some stuff as I love the speaker and the dark blacks for movies.

I recently purchased a 49' OLED monitor, and I must say, it has completely transformed my gaming experience. The performance is outstanding, with the deep blacks and vibrant colors bringing games to life in a way I've never seen before. One of the most impressive aspects of this OLED is its ability to display true blacks. This not only enhances the contrast and depth of the image but also adds a level of immersion that is hard to beat. Whether I'm exploring dark caverns or enjoying cinematic scenes, the picture quality remains consistently stunning. Another significant advantage is the minimal heat production. Despite long gaming sessions, the monitor stays remarkably cool, which is a testament to its efficient design. This is a huge plus, especially during intense gaming marathons. Additionally, I appreciate how this monitor works seamlessly with standard mounts. Setting it up was a breeze, and it fit perfectly into my existing setup without any hassle. The top 2 monitors in the picture below are the ones being reviewed the bottom one is the 57'

I realistically have no complaints about this monitor. It ticks all my boxes when it comes to quality and performance. I will say I looked at this monitor in store as well as the LG 45" and some as the other 240Hz OLED options (ASUS and LG 27" options too) and I personally thought the Samsung models just had a better viewing experience overall. The ASUS was probably better but I wanted a larger screen and between this and the OLED G8 I don't really think any other 1440p OLED monitors come close. This monitor and the G8 get way brighter than the the other models bar the ASUS so to me they were no brainers. I think the G8 is a good option but this monitor edges it out due to the higher refresh rate and the size as well. It really is an amazing experience and I'm really happy with my purchase. I originally didn't want an ultrawide but I wanted to experience it and I have to say its amazing and I want another lol. So in conclusion if you want an OLED, 240Hz, true <0.1ms response times this is it.

The odyssey G9 OLED is a gorgeous display that actually doubles essentially as a smart tv with its own remote and several built in channels! Very glad I upgraded from it's neo G9 counterpart. Burn in is also not an issue long term as the screen has an automatic sleep feature preventing serious damage from prolonged use. The weight is also far lighter than the neo G9 monitor allowing it to be mounted, moved or positioned a lot more seamlessly. In terms of glare from is glossy screen, this is only noticable once the screen is off depending on lighting in your area. Once on the brightness of the screen has yet to be interfered with any sun or room light glare in my space. At night the customizable backlight also eases intensity the light on the screen creating an awesome atmosphere for entertainment. Very glad I made the leap with this device!

Huge upgrade coming from a 34” MSI ultrawide monitor! The extra screen real estate with 32:9 is awesome, most games support it and it’s about as close as you can get to VR without a headset. The colors and inky blacks from the OLED are unparalleled. Requires lots of desk space so be sure to measure twice. IO is decent and support for eARC on the HDMI port is a plus. Build quality is excellent as well and love the thin panel design, which again is another OLED advantage. I know most people are on the fence due to burn in risk but so long as your use case is over 75% gaming then I’d definitely pull the trigger. Monitor also has precautions built in to it. If you have the cash and want an upgrade do not hesitate.

Excellent quality, worthy of the price they ask for it, I don't regret buying it, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a monitor with enough space to perform several functions at the same time.
