I have had this soundsystem set up for a little over a month now. So far it sounds crisp and clear while watching movies and TV shows. The surround sound speakers get the job done. Overall this soundsystem makes my home viewing experience better.

The subwoofer and rear speakers for this unit are amazing. I have tried 2 other bands (LG & VIZIO) they rear speakers do not compare to these. You can actually hear sound coming out of them without having to put your ear to them. The adaptive sound feature truly gives you the best of surround sound.

Very excellent product, especially when paired with any of samsung Q based TV. I have Q70 and a Q800 TV. They are both hooked up. What ever TV I turn on it comes right on. The sound quality when paired is phenomenal. It sounds just like your in the Theaters. I would recommend this product to anyone.

after trying multiple soundbars i had given up. I wanted bigger sound feomna smaller footprint. I knew itvwould never be a full multi speaker home theater but it is as close asbyou can get. Separation is good low frequency is good. In an average size room you wont be disappointed.

I purchased this bar to upgrade the Polk sound bar I've been using. So far I am very pleased with it. This one has more bass output from the subwoofer than the Polk delivered and also more separation. Music sounds great and movies sound better. When my new TV arrives I'll see how the Dolby Atmos sounds.

Normally a Sony guy, after caving in to get last year’s Samsung curved 4K tv, I decided to finally upgrade my sound bar as well. This package packs a wallop! Great representation of 3D sound surrounded by the viewer got my head on a swivel! After 10 years of not hearing full sound, my theater is back!

Heard the in store display and really got my attention. Brought it home and WOOOWWW! ABSOLUTELY blows the living room away! Movies and Formula 1 races sound amazing and stunning the senses! Haven't even got it more than half and neighbors across the street and next to us were asking what we had lol

As some other reviews mentioned, the directions in the box are not very good. I found online, a more complete set of instructions that did help some. I still have not gotten the rear speakers to link with the sound bar. As best I can tell, I have the HDMI cable installed correctly. However, there are times the TV is switched on. I seem to have the best results with BT, but that is not what I want to use. The sound is good, but I am not getting the maximum quality since the rear speakers are not part of the mix, which was the reason I purchased this sound bar (5,1,2) quality. I will try to google for a solution when I have time.

Bought this soundbar system after an existing soundbar system from a rival company stopped working and this system is soooo much better! Sound is stronger and audio is more clear when using it. Very strong bass from the subwoofer! No hesitation in recommending this unit!

I am not sound buff person but really really enjoy watching our Samsung tv using the soundbar and speakers. I feel like we are a movie theatre when the movie has the ability to be played through all the speakers. Normal tv sound is great. Love it

Disappointed. I read the stellar reviews and I was excited to get this soundbar. I set it up and felt like the voice Was tinny and hard to understand. I went into the SmartThings app and clicked on “Voice Enhancement”. This helped some. I maxed out the Base and still had to put my ear down next to the large woofer just to confirm it was even working! I gave it maxed out at 6 and checked the base enhancement feature in the smart things app…. Little improvement. I have the 900t in my basement and it sound great. I had hoped this would just be a little less effective. I then tried to listen to music to test the quality, it was loud but tinny and again no or little base. My Bose 500 speaker sounded much better playing the same song. I sold an older Sony CR660 soundbar before purchasing this unit. It is an open box” Excellent” condition. I wonder if it was returned because someone was happy with the sound ? I experimented with the different sound settings trying to get it to an acceptable listening quality. I through the box away during set up or I would probably return. I’m a total tech member but the chat support has been terrible. In a screen shot I took the chat representative said I should consult my Manuel lol? I thought Total Tech reps were supposed to be experts? I took a screenshot just because no one would believe me that my request for support resulted in the “expert” saying read my Manuel for solution lol.

So we went down and got a new 75" TV and picked up the matching soundbar (Q850A). The TV is AWESOME. Soundbar, not so much. First off, the satellite speakers didn't have long enough wires to be wired into my living room, but a quick splice and I got that part solved. The sound tends to cut off on some channels for about a second. Not lag, but flat out cuts OFF the sound. It's almost as if the sound is buffering. This is incredibly distracting. Seems to happen on some channels more than others, and more often with older shows. Samsung says to update the firmware, I did (current version is HW-Q850AWWB-1009.2)...but not really better. The fact that you have to log on to the item through an app to upgrade also seems silly....no direct upgrade through USB is available. (No USB port.) Then I went off script and upgraded all of my HDMI cables to 8K cables. This did definite improvements for an already stellar picture, but not so much for the sound. Satellite speakers have unbelievably LOW sound coming from them, and no way to adjust each one - they basically get blown away by the soundbar itself and the subwoofer. The sound settings on the TV for the equalizer only allow adjustments for the subwoofer, no other settings can be changed. It's sad, my old (cheap) Denon soundbar outperformed this one. Would I have known, I would have saved the nearly 1K in sound purchases.

Amazing sound! Im still surprised at what sound im getting out of a sound bar system. Bass is supreme upgrade from prior model. Compared to home stereo 5.1 not quite.

This Samsung soundbar is fantastic! It sounds like you are in the movie theater; it even feels like it with the base. It is easy to set up and can be paired with a wireless device. I love it and highly recommend it.

Had issues syncing this sound bar. When it played it was amazing but not a smooth setup like other systems.

This sound bar is AMAZING! It made a huge difference in the sound coming from my TV. I had an older model Samsung sound bar so it’s not like I’ve just been listing to regular TV speakers only. You won’t be disappointed if you buy this model…

The sound does fill my house well. The speaker wires for the back speakers are silver and have a Proprietary connection so you can't just put black wire in to help hide it

I had the 2018 high end version of this soundbar and I actually ended up returning this because it sounded worse, but this is the medium tier and for the price and what you get I believe is great. I ended up buying the 2021 high end version
