Sounds like your in the theater, comes with rear speakers but not Atmos, wait for Atmos set to come down in price, big step up from a 3yr old Q70 sound bar, even the sub set up is louder

Sound bar has great sound and rear Spears great when playing surround sound. I came from full system to this sound bar and I would not go back. Much easier and sound quality is excellent.

Very easy to hook up and install. I think the sound is great as well. It is definitely an upgrade coming from a 3 year old Vizio 5.1 surround system.

I got a open box value and when I turned it the first time it was turned all the way up to 100, but even though it scared us . There was no distortion and everything was Crystal clear . We don’t turn it up that loud but it’s nice to know we can . The 8 in sub that comes with it is solid. It weighs 26 pounds and hits the lows all the way down to 20 herz . You have to buy the 800 or 900 or 950 to get that sub the 700 is a 6.5 that only goes to 50hz. The sound quality is clear all the way around. I’d definitely recommend getting this years model with a A at the end of the number over last years model with a T at the end . Last years models lack some key features. Also I’d pair it to 2021 qled tv to get the most out of it .

Thank you for your review of this Samsung HW-Q850A Soundbar. We appreciate you sharing your feedback regarding the bass performance.
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the level between -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.
