This television was a gift to replace one of our main televisions. We thought it wasn't necessary, but agreed to update our 7 year old television. We were overwhelmed by the difference in picture quality-I guess the update was needed. I love the many features the Samsung TV offers that we were not aware of-It makes me want to update another TV with a Samsung. Our experience with the Best Buy team was amazing. They were most accommodating and genuinely helpful.

Honestly thought this tv would be a great upgrade from my 5 year old dying tcl smart tv. This is the iphone of tvs they give you very limited settings to set and adjust as if you the consumer are 5 years old. I hate the lack of ambient mode all I want is the screensaver to display a clock with the weather for the day. The picture looks great when theres color. When displaying blacks there is about 6 sections on my unit with really bad splotching and light bleed. For 500 clams im quite disappointed. Id rather have a 300 smacker tcl thats gonna do what I want and couldnt care less about things like light bleed because it was only 300 bucks. Save the money theres cheaper tvs with better quality and more features.

I purchased this Samsung 50” QLED Smart TV to replace a 20+ year old 42” Panasonic flat screen TV. The new Samsung is terrific, it was easy to set up and use immediately. It weighs about half what the Panasonic weighed, generates almost no heat and should use much less electricity. The color, sharpness and sound are all excellent. An interesting feature is the remote, which is small and is rechargeable by connection to a usb-c cable or by solar light. Best Buy's salesperson was exceptionally helpful in sorting out the many smart tv options and addressing my particular needs.

I’m extremely happy with this purchase. The picture quality is outstanding—vibrant colors, great brightness even in a well-lit room, and impressive contrast. The sound is surprisingly good without needing external speakers. It was easy to set up, very intuitive to use, and all the apps run fast and smoothly. Overall, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommended!

Have had this TV for a few weeks now and am very happy with my purchase. It was very easy to set up, took between 10 and 15 minutes. Feels sturdy. I like that the feet are flat, it sits more firmly on my desk than my last TV. I use this TV in my bedroom with an Apple TV and as a monitor for my laptop. Picture quality is good. Sound is also good, I don’t have a soundbar hooked up to it and can hear it just fine. If you want a solid TV that doesn’t break the bank, this is a good buy.

I compared this TV with other Samsung TVs, and this was the best for the money. It was very easy to set up. I went to Best Buy and I talked to one of the Samsung TV experts. He helped me compare prices and what each TV has to offer. Couple of days later I made my final decision and I bought the TV that I thought it was the best fit. I’m very happy with the TV. I made a good decision. I’m very happy with my TV.

We have consistently purchased Samsung televisions throughout the years. They have always been state of the art in picture quality, sound and ease of application. The set up’s have been easy and pairing with remote sound systems is flawless. Samsung is constantly providing the consumer with a wide range of sizes and features with appeal to everyone. We are very pleased with the easy set up and variety of streaming options. A must buy when we decide to upgrade.

Samsung hasn't disappointed me yet, and this TV is no exception. I have a Q6 55" 4k model from 2019 that is still going strong. This was purchased for the bedroom and my wife and I absolutely love it. The UI takes a little getting used to since they changed around some of the menus, but other than that, no complaints. The picture quality is stellar in my opinion and 50" is the ideal size for the room. I recommend this Q8F over the Q7F model since the contrast is better (I compared the two in-store). This 2025 model also beats out our 2019 Q6 model in picture quality, as you might expect. Highly recommended.

For the price, I repeat for th he price it's a solid TV. The menu's can be a touch slow compared to higher end models. The picture is definitely bright and colorful. Motion blur is a little bit noticeable at time. If you're looking for a solid TV for general viewing and your not a huge movie buff like myself ( I have ave a high dollar Samsung in my movie room) I recommend this TV

The Samsung Q8 F was a valuable addition to my bedroom entertainment setup. It has proven to be an exceptional TV, especially after my disappointing experience with one of Sony‘s higher-end models, which did not meet my expectations in terms of picture quality and reliability. Overall, Samsung has improved my viewing experience with their newer models. I own a C5 LG OLED, which I absolutely love for its deep blacks and vibrant colors. However, I was not willing to spend the exorbitant amount of money I had invested in my previous TV for my living room. I was simply looking for a TV that was sufficiently bright, capable of playing video games smoothly, and able to handle 4K content with native resolution settings. Fortunately, the Samsung Q8 F not only meets these requirements but also features a 144 Hz gaming mode, something most TVs of its kind cannot even support, providing a much better gaming experience.

I bought this Samsung tv at the end of January 2026, mostly to get the Samsung Plus tv stations as we are only on antenna tv, no pay tv. Works great, nice picture. I bought a numbered button remote on Amazon instead of having to use the weird remote that comes with smart tvs. After going round and round trying to get things to work on the setup, I discovered that you have to set up an account on the tv or things won't work. AI told me I absolutely did not need an account but AI was wrong! Good tv overall and using it in our bedroom.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase so far. The picture is excellent, particularly when steaming. The setup was easy. The only thing that is not top notch is the remote. The sound control is wonky and takes some getting used to compared with more traditional remotes.

Samsung 50” QLED works great! No issues. Highly recommend. I have 4 so that should be a testament in itself. What’s even better is Fredericksburg Va Best Buy’s customer service. The staff go above and beyond every time I’m in there. Super nice and ultra efficient!

The TV itself is great: great color, great contrast, does what we thought it would do in that regard. Navigating the TV is horrible. I bought open box, so there was no manual, and trying to find how to use the thing has been difficult. We're getting there, but I know we're not using it to its full advantage yet.

This TV is awesome. It was easy to set up streaming apps, the picture quality is awesome and it is, overall , a step up and above the 8000 series that it replaced. Truly recommend this television.

This TV is incredible. Easy to use. Picture is outstanding. I discussed the pros and cons of this tv versus other brands with the sales associate, and based on my conversation with him, went with this tv. Glad I did.

Great tv for the price. The picture is bright, the sound is amazing compared to my 15yo 1080p that I was upgrading from. Was considering getting a soundbar but didn't feel like I needed it once I heard the sound. I did have some issues with setup, but Samsung customer service was easy to get through to and very helpful.
