So much easier to see cable tv guide from far away. Only prob is it starts up on a main choices screen, and this is for older parents. Wish it had a choice to default it at startup directly on cable choice, maybe it can. I will have to look for a startup choices menu.

This Samsung tv does both. Got it on sale for $300 for my kids room. Its easy to used the picture quality is excellent for its price and love the options that the offer. Yes you can spend more but why when you can get a low budget friendly tv that does everything for a low cost. 50 inch is the perfect size for a small room.

We connected it to an outside antenna and it's perfect. Plus it's super simple to Bluetooth to my phone for more easy streaming. We are very happy with our purchase.

Service was very helpful in store, and Geek Squad delivery was great. They were able to install the TV to our old wall mount with minimal issues.

The big con is the remote. Whenever you want to change channels or a setting on the tv you have to use the few buttons on the remote to move the cursor around the screen to get to what you want to change. Ask to see the remote before you buy if remotes are important to you.
