Got this on cyber Monday special and its a great TV

Overall, good for its value. Had to exchange for the same product due to the first one occasionally turning off, but Best Buy made it easy to return. Delivered and took away my TV in a smooth delivery.

Decent picture quality - but the unit lacks sufficient input/output ports. The flimsy, lightweight TV stand is cheap and poorly designed - and does not allow the screen to be rotated. It is inferior in every way to former Samsung stands.

So far it's been good. Got it for the living room.

The TV works fine. Color good. Lots of viewing options. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is: 1. There is no headphone jack that is easily accesible. There is an audio out jack, but it is in the back of the TV and if it is wall mounted, it is not accessible. Further, the output is so low, it may not drive your headphones, thus requiring an external amp to use your "expensive" headphones. 2. You can't use a wireless headphone either without buying an adapter. This particular model doesn't have bluetooth. Other similar models do, however. 3. There is no printed manual for the TV. It is an 'online' feature of the TV. However, that is of little help, if your TV is not working properly.

GREAT TELEVISION! JUST HAS A SLIGHT TILT SO SIDE..

This was a Cyber Monday purchase with fee delivery. The TV was delivered within the specified time frame. The delivery guys even carried the TV to the rec room in the basement. The set up was very easy, but due to the size of the TV it was nice to have an extra hand. We mainly use an over the air antenna and a PlayStation 4 which allows us to watch PlayStation Vue, Netflix, and DVDs. So far we have been very pleased with this TV.

The tv itself is nice, although the sound and picture calibration is fairly frustrating. We are not incompetent when it comes to technology. Right out of the box, the picture was extremely dark, sound very poor. We had to begin reading menu options, instruction manual, etc. in order to be able to see/hear the tv. Never had to this with any other tv we have purchased. Much more time consuming than necessary--even tried to google search best calibration settings. Still not happy with our settings, and we are honestly not that picky. Just normal listening/viewing type people. Better settings out of the box for normal viewing would be very helpful.

We are loving the Smart tv features for watching Netflix. The pic quality is great, we had to change some of the factory settings to make it look right. So many of the tvs can be lemons but we haven't had any trouble thus far. We bought the service plan and had the squad hang it up for us. They told me that Samsung is one of the top brands that they have seen, ( they repair tvs too) and they rarely saw a Samsung in the shop.

I selected the Samsung 55 Smart TV after going over many options with a Best Buy team member in store. Because I was shopping on a sale day, the Samsung turned out to be a better value than many of the "discount brands." I've been so pleased with this purchase. The TV works flawlessly and has a beautiful, bright picture. It was easy to set up, and I found it was much easier to connect my Hulu/Netflix/HBO Go accounts than my previous Insignia. Highly recommend for someone looking for a high-quality, user-friendly smart TV.

I was looking for a large tv with a stand that could fit on top of a dresser. This tv was one of the only ones that came with a stand that would work for me. The picture is great as only samsung can produce. It is very easy to use. The one complaint is the smart tv features. They didn't work well with mlb extra innings app and therefore wish I did not buy it as a smart tv. Netflix and amazon worked great but I wound ip buying an apple tv to hook up to this tv. Other than that I have been pleased with my purchase!

TV is OK, nothing special, still having technical issues with the picture and unless the channel is HD the regular channels picture is not good at all. I would say try a different brand as Samsung quality is not what it used to be.

We shopped around and looked at various TV options. Some stores really promoted one brand or another. What we loved about purchasing our TV at Best Buy was that they had nearly every brand, and they explained the advantages and disadvantages of each TV we were considering. On top of that, we got an amazing price and help loading it in our SUV. This TV's picture looked the best to us close up, and has an even better picture as you move further back. It has everything we wanted, and we *LOVE* it! :)

I am not an avid TV watcher, but I did want a set that had good sound and a good picture quality. This picture is crisp, almost artificially so. I changed the settings so that the images would appear more natural, not like the images seen when you are viewing a live show. Although this may appeal to some viewers. Overall a great set for someone that is not into a lot of bells and whistles. I can not speak to the sound, as I purchased a sound bar. The remote is not as responsive or intuitive as with my other Samsung television, but it is functional. Did not give 5 stars as I have not used all the features.

I purchased this item because it was a deeply discounted open-box item. I had been looking for a new T.V. for the bedroom and I couldn't pass up the price on this television. When purchasing this item, one should evaluate what they are hoping to achieve from a T.V. This is not a top quality T.V. There are numerous other televisions with a better picture and features. However, if you are just looking for something to provide a decent picture with a reasonably large screen, this is a good purchase. If I had paid full price for this T.V. I would have been disappointed. However, the discount I received made this a decent purchase.

Forget the smartTV functionality as my Amazon FireTV and Apple TV blow this TV's apps away. But the screen clarity is superb to none. Setup is straight forward and the contrast is amazing. Never had an issue with TV but do make sure you turn off some of the functionlity if you care about your privacy as Samsung will send your viewing data to 3rd parties (a google search will show your several articles on this). Not sure if Samsung as corrected this recently so you've been warned.
