This was a great bargain for a name brand TV. Since nothing is really broadcast in 4k yet, I saw no reason to pay the higher amount for a 4k TV. This HD smart TV was 1/3 the price of a 4k TV, it has a beautiful picture quality, easily connects to Netflix and other programs, and was easy to mount to the wall. I might even be buying another one of these for our basement family room.

This TV was purchased for our living room. It looks great and the smart functions work well. Sound is ok i would recommend a nice surround sound system for movies and music.

There are TVs and there are Samsung Smart TVs. I had the 42 inches (purchased from Best Buy too) in my bedroom and decided to buy the bigger one for my living room. Beign a Netflix fan, I like the fact that I can switch between screens and watch Netflix if I want to (Wi Fi enabled). I ordered this on my phone (I was waiting for Best Buy to have a sale) immediately it went on sale and in store Pick up was a breeze. The reps helped load it I my car too. What will they come up with next?

First off, there are only 2 hdmi ports. But there is a plus, it's a smart tv. Downfall is that with the OS, there is no way to put Kodi directly on this television. Even if it had the Roku OS, it wouldn't work. Other apps, like Netflix and Amazon video work flawlessly, and the picture is great. Instead of buying an Android smart tv for twice as much, buy a $45 Kodi box and be done with it. But the picture is great, sound is good, and it's priced right. A deal that can't be beat.

We were replacing a 10-year old 50" Samsung and never thought about buying a different brand. This is the fourth Samsung that we have purchased in 10 years, and we have been happy with all of them. The picture quality is terrific. We have a 7.1 speaker system, so the location of the television's speaker did not concern us. The sound is fine even when not running it through the surround sound. We had the TV delivered and set up by Best Buy since it was free. Totally hassle free!

I bought this TV for my living room area. I live in a town house and am pretty limited to space, with that being said, this TV fits perfectly in my living room. I don't have it mounted to the wall because it's rather large and I'm not too sure if the wall could support such a large TV. The clarity is amazing and I'm completely satisfied with this purchase. I use it mostly for TV and occasional gaming. TV gives me no problems and it's completely silent. Also the set up was really easy.

The 55" tv that I bought Sansum, it is very nice with bright screen but, there is only one problem with it, the base that it carry is to light for a 55" Tv! It look such as it will be dropp to the floor! I will need to mountain it on the wall for safe and a better view of it in the living! Overall, it has a good price and free delivery, plus credit line open on it 12 months finance and 0 finances if pay on times! Good deal just needs a better base for sure if is use on wood table!

Purchased to replace an old Mitsubishi plasma and shopped at BestBuy to be able to talk with people who could tell me the difference between all the new sets. This TV was recommended to me by my sales person best matching my needs and price point. We discussed the need for a sound bar and he suggested I try the set without it first. Works well in our living room without one and we don't even have to turn the volume up much. Picture is very crisp and overall, was a great purchase.

Great picture, great sound. However within 60 days my GUEST TV has less than 10 hours watching time and I now have a black screen. Best buy had no interest in hearing my complaint, was rude and wouldn't let me finish the details of the problem, simply said its out of their hands and gave me Samsungs number, Samsung states they will repair tv, NOT REPLACE, Repair A brand new TV?? I will NEVER EVER spend my money at best buy and have cut my Credit card up and trashed it!! or on Samsung products. I'm still waiting to hear from Samsung after 6 days. New Tv less than 2 months old sitting with Black screen. Waste of money and 2 hour drive to buy trash.

Great value for the price image is acceptable I have never liked led tvs but it seems like you no longer have a choice as it is pretty much all that is sold now. If your not looking to spend a lot this is a good but

TV was delivered and when I turned it on, the TV did not work properly. It must have been damaged during shipping. Brought the TV back and they swapped it out right on the spot no problems. What impressed me enough to give this a five star rating was that the TV was bought online as a "Deal of the day" special, which meant I might of had to wait for the replacement to be shipped. Nope! They gave me a replacement right on the spot and that works just fine. I'm very happy!!!

I PICKED THE SAMSUNG TV UP AT THE BEND OREGON STORE AND BROUGHT IT HOME WONDERING IF I WAS TALENTED ENOUGH TO SET IT UP ON MY OWN ... WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM YOUR AWESOME GEEK SQUAD - IT WAS A BREEZE !! THE COLORS ON THIS TV ARE OFF THE CHARTS AND THE DEFINITION AS WELL !! I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS ... PS: I GOT A GREAT PRICE ON IT AS WELL ...

Best value all around I feel. I am coming from a tiny borrowed screen so this will take some getting used to. I am still trying out settings, someone was nice enough to post theirs to copy, so thank you! A great picture, a great value, and great Best Buy customer service. I am in the over 50 technically challenged, so the simpler the better. My one complaint and less 1 star.... I HATE the remote it comes with. It's long & skinny so it's difficult to use 1 handed & all the needed buttons seem to be on the way bottom row. I use it with Roku. My only complaint.

Skip 4k and just get this. Chances are you don't sit close enough to see the extra 4k resolution anyway. This tv handles motion better, and has better picture quality for most of the 1080p shows you watch any way. Comparable 4k TVs all had noticeable issues, motion was choppy, uniformity issues. You watch TV for the motions!!! This was a $1000+ product when released so your getting a better overall product and all you need to do is skip the lousy 4k TVs.

Although I might still recommend this TV to others simply because the picture and ease of setup is above average, there are other issues that drive the rating downwards. The TV stand is truly a joke. I can't believe how something like that passed quality control. I think they must have assumed that people would wall mount it or buy an aftermarket stand that connects to the VESA mounts on the back because that is what you will need to do. This TV is almost unusable with the stand that comes in the packaging. It wobbles badly even with the screws completely tightened. The stand only attaches at the very bottom of the TV so it leans backwards a bit. It's hard to enjoy watching TV when you can see the TV tipping. Motion blur is definitely an issue. I am transitioning from a 1080i DLP TV and I didn't have the motion blur issue before. Watching a lot of action on the TV hurts my eyes. The viewing angle is outstanding which is a big plus. DLP TVs have poor viewing angles so I was glad to see that when standing at a sharp angle that you can see the picture nicely. The WIFI and smart TV setup was a breeze. It took me a total of 30 minutes to setup the stand, connect the TV to my stereo system, connect WIFI and start watching. I have not decided if I am going to return it or just buy a better table stand or wall mount kit. The sound quality doesn't sound like stereo quality either. Don't plan on using the sound on this TV. You'll want to send audio to a stereo or sound bar. It's a budget TV so I guess I shouldn't expect much from sound. Looking at prices on other TVs, better sound usually drives the price up so that is to be expected. If you don't need the sound from the TV then it is a non-issue. Just be prepared to wire audio out to something else.

The television has great picture quality. This is our first Smart TV and I don't know how this feature compares to other brands. I'm sure we will enjoy this feature more once we learn how to use it. A few auxiliary connections on the side or front would be helpful so the television doesn't have to be taken down when it is hanging on the wall. The speaker volume has been the hardest adjustment for us. We have to turn the volume up higher than our old television when there is much noise in the room. It, however, sounds really good when listening through the sound bar.

This is my 2nd Samsung. I love the smart hub and all the remote features. This TV has a beautiful picture and sound! I purchased a 46 inch about a year ago and have been wanting to buy another... well on black friday I finally got the chance to get this gorgeous 55inch for my family room. was able to pay cash and walk right out the door!! #LoveIt Also picked up a smaller 32 inch Samsung for my grand baby... for under $200 :D its also a smart TV..

I visited the store as my tv was broke. went through few offers. I knew i should get a LED TV (preferably smart) with 60 fps and higher coz i play video games too. This tv was on a offer and i decided to buy this the moment i saw. great price with great features. Its been a month now and i m having lots of fun. No issues of any sort. Internet connectivity, application installation, display , sound everything works good. Definitely recommend it

My previous 55" TV, which was not a Samsung, went out after only 4 months.. I received Best Buy store credit to purchase another TV. Needless to say I wasn't going back to the previous brand. Since I have the Samsung Tab and phone I decided to try their TV. The tv I returned was a 4K and this one is only 1080p. However, this picture is just as clear and vibrant as the returned one and the sound quality is great. Also, for the return price of the other brand, I was able to purchase this tv along with a 5 year extended warranty. I feel I got a great deal.

We bought this for our family christmas present this year on black Friday. Our online purchase was able to be picked up in stores the next day, although it was ready for hours before an official notification was sent out. The TV itself has little to no screen drag, a small remote and some other interesting smarttv features that we haven't fully explored. After my husband tweaked the factory settings we are very pleased.
