This TV not only has a great picture and sound, it also has great design features. I love the build and quality of the stand and even the remote. I was surprised that all of the HDMI, USB, etc. connectors are not actually on the TV but a separate unit that "set-top box". Different but I kind of like it better that way.
The Smart TV interface is really nice and easy to use. The remote even works with my Amazon Fire TV (except no Home button for the fire stick but that is okay).

Overall picture quality is great. TV was wall mounted. I was told by salesman the tv only had one wire coming from backside of tv to the inclosed box for reception. I asked about the power source from tv to box, salesman replied it’s all built in thru this one thin wire. I say it has to have electricity from tv to box to outlet. Again he replies it’s all ran thru the one thin wire, almost undetected against the wall. Not true, there is the thin wire for technology purposes and the electrical cord coming from the back of tv, which now I have to have ran through the wall to have the sleek look of a wall mount tv. Don’t believe your salesman totally, I should have trusted my own knowledge of the electrical power source. For that reason I give you four stars.

Own many Samsung T.V.s because of quality. This one is no different. Nice sleek design, this one is above our fireplace on a mount. Picture is good without changing settings. Crisp clear 4K!!

It's perhaps not the best television on the market, but it is certainly the best I've had. It is even considerably better than my previous Samsung 4K TV which, because it didn't support HDR, was basically worthless for any 4K content except for that which came with it on the external HD. Bright, colorful, much better color rendition than any TV i've ever had--you can get flesh tones at a realistic level without washing out all the colors.

So, I read a bunch of on-line reviews before looking at what 4K HD TV to upgrade to. I wanted a thin one, since I mount it on a wall and there are quite a few under 2" in depth to chose from. I also have limited wall space, so 55" was the largest I could fit (and that my wife would not freak out about...)
At the store, ALL the 4K HD TVs look fabulous, and the ones from LG, Sony and Samsung appear to be the best. The reality is that there is very little 4K content out there, so you will be watching 1080 (or upscaled 1080) almost all of the time.
I have a home theater setup and the room is fairly bright (I have got to get some shades... :)) and the Samsung QLED does have excellent brightness, more so than the OLEDs. It also has about a 1/4" bezel, so all you see is the screen, which is pretty cool!
I didn't like the separate "connection module", my old Samsung didn't have one (and it was 1.6" thick!) so why couldn't they build the electronics into the new ones? I had to wedge it behind the TV mounted on the wall, kind of a poor set up!
The QLED picture is great, the brightness is what I needed, so if you are going to get a 4K HD TV, this is a fine choice. However, you are probably better off WAITING a year until there is more 4K content to actually view. The whole 4K thing is more hype from the TV manufacturers than anything else. Oh, and if you have a home theater set up already like me, you will ultimately need a 4K A/V receiver too, if you want the ability to switch between 4K sources and feed the sound through the receiver to your speakers, so figure one of those in your budget...

Grew tired of my 8 year old Samsung 46" TV with the 2 inch frame. This 55" takes up about the same space but I have so much more viewing area. Picture is awesome, viewing angle is much better than I expected and the image is great for a sunny room. Love the QLED, OLED had a great picture but couldn't convince myself that the screen burn in risk was worth it. Read of too many instances of it happening to spend that kind of money and LG warranty doesn't cover screen burn. My Samsung didn't disappoint.

This was our 2nd purchase after I drooped the Vizio off its mount during installation. Bottom line, get a really good mount with locking bottom tabs. The Samsung is very nice, good colors, excellent definition and the smart remote works very well. I really like the remote connection box, that means there is no cable jumble to the TV only a power cord (6 ft) and a tiny fiber optic cable, making for a clean install when hanging TV. I didn't care for the factory presets, so I set up a custom settings and am now very happy with the picture. We went with a 55 inch, as large as I'd recommend for a 1 person DIY install. More than that and you'll Need home installation service or a competent wife/partner. I also like that there is minimal reflection/glare from the screen. I went with a flat screen and we're quite happy, viewing distance is around 10-12 ft from tv. Sound quality is amazingly good, though we still went with a Bose 300 series sound bar for a complete cinema experience. We are very happy with our purchase, I have used Samsung products over they years and love the vivid colors, ability to show action, ease of set up and clarity of the image.

Spent quite awhile going back and forth between this tv and an LG Oled. I have several Samsung tvs and have always been happy with them.
The specs I was looking at for this purchase was 4k and HDR quality and performance, but gaming performance was key. This tv has good input lag and motion blur specs for a tv.
Since gaming was key, I decided against the LG because of the mixed experiences people have had with image retention. Having a static image on the screen for long periods of time while gaming was not something I wanted to deal with. I understand they are supposed to go away after a time and the LG has built in mechanisms to refresh the screen- but the difference in picture quality is not enough to deal with the potential hassle.
The Samsung appears well built, looks good to the eye, has a nice stand, and the 4k HDR looks terrific. Also kudos to Best Buy for honoring their own price matching twice within the exchange period and saving me over $500.

Since I planned use this TV as a monitor, my main objective was to find a TV with great video quality. The QLED technology delivers excellent color and contrast.
The Q7 comes with a ton of advanced features, which I will probably never use, but the video quality alone makes this TV worth the price.
Lots of plusses: it's attractive, thin, light, and easy to install. The separate electronics box gives you clean installation options. You can make all your connections to the control unit in the console cabinet and have only a clean fiber connection to the TV via One Connect.

We decided to upgrade our living room TV to 4K, so went to BestBuy to look at some models. We thought this one has a nice picture, nice look and the one remote feature sounded promising. When we got our old TV we had a hard time getting the picture settings to look what we felt as normal, with this one we just left the picture settings as they seemed good out of the box. I knew that a new TV should have a better menu but this is really nice and now we are using just 1 instead of 4 remotes to control TV, direct TV, receiver and Playstation.

Very easy to set up. The TV has great color. This new 4K concept is great. Even old westerns from the 60's look 3D on it. We are very pleased.

Love the TV. The picture is obviously great. I don't have the eye to tell the difference between this and the OLED panels from LG and Sony but I've always had good luck with Samsung so I sprung for the QLED. Before purchasing, I was concerned about the UI being clunky as I've experienced with some older smart TVs, especially from LG. This was not the case. The UI is lightning fast and totally intuitive. Apps like HBO Go and Amazon are extremely fast, loading movies almost immediately. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

This is a great tv. The picture, when viewed in HD or 4K is noticeably better than my last tv, which was a Samsung plasma. and I thought that tv was good. When my kids play on the Xbox One X, the games look real. The setup was easy, the remote is easy to use, and with the connections in a separate box, this tv is awesome. Glad I waited.

Nice size and looks great. Easy to setup and using. A little confusing at first when not expecting the fiber cable connection.
