First, I had come to conclusion that Samsung was THE brand. Then I researched different models at different price points. I am not happy that they (and any manufacturer these days) has stopped mentioning the refresh rate in Hz as opposed to motion rate or some other designation. However, with a little diligence and a discussion with an honest product specialist at Best Buy, and you can find out this important fact and many other technical details which influenced my purchase. This was the top of the four models I was considering and I purchased it in part because the wife said "oh go ahead" and because I viewed it as the best value for the long term. Combined with Best Buys finance program, it was a no brainer. It is an amazing TV both in terms of sound and picture. I have a legacy home theater and use it less than ever. The picture barely required any tweeking at setup and is a pleasure to watch.

The TV has excellent picture quality. The curved screen makes it more pleasing to watch. Thanks to Internet connectivity, online content can be streamed. We have not yet tested the 3D feature. The sound quality is really satisfactory. There is no need to add a sound bar if viewed in a regular-sized living room. Oftentimes, our TV is used to display a fireplace (blu ray disk), which creates a nice cozy atmosphere.

I did a lot of research when buying this TV it's been 7 years since I bought one and wanted to make sure that I got a great quality picture as well as a bang for my buck. I don't usually write reviews so take it from me when I say it's well worth the money and a great investment . The picture quality is awesome and being a smart T.V all the other bells and whistles are absolutely incredible . Usually with flat TVs they all say that the speakers don't give a lot of sound not this one sound quality is great I did buy myself a sound bar because I enjoy music and enjoy that surround sound feel but with this TV you don't necessarily need that unless like me you like that home theater feel. I usually do not write reviews so take it from me you will not be disappointed in this TV hopefully my review helps you make the decision on buying this product.

Samsung makes a wonderful TV! The only issue we had with the TV is that it needed a firmware upgrade in order to make the game console work on the TV. It was not the easiest thing to do but it got done. The picture quality is great, it is easy to use all of the features and is a great addition to the other Samsung 65 inch already in the basement.

GREAT, WITH CURVE VIEWING CAN SEE MORE AT. WHEN INSTALLED THE GEEK GUY WAS IMPRESSED TO BE ABLE TO WORK AT AN SIDE ANGLE, AND SEE THE PICTURE. WE WERE DEBATING WHETHER TO GET FLAT OR CURVE. WE ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE CURVE. YOU TRULY SEE MORE OF THE PICTURE IN YOUR OWN HOME. WHEN LOOKING AT MY OTHER 6 TV'S I CAN TRULY SEE THE DIFFERENCE.

My old tv bulb went out and wanted to get the latest technology and was blown away by the quality of the 4K in the store. After a few weeks of use, it is clear that the picture and sound quality blows away the previous model and after going 4K you will realize that you were missing a lot by staying with the older technology. A must if you enjoy watching action and science fiction movies. The remote is hard to use so I use a universal remote instead and hence the 4 stars.

I was very hesitant to go with the curved model but once I saw it in person I fell in love. Movies and video games on the screen make me feel so immersed. The refresh rate is perfect for anything you watch

Amazing picture !!! , I had first bought the Sony 850 model but returned it the picture quality does not run next to this curve. I bought it on Black Friday for 1,299.00 plus tax .. Great buy I think . I set this up in my bedroom, cannot go wrong. My wife loves watching her EMPIRE show on this bad boy, picture is realistic.

We recently came into the modern world with a purchase of a LED Flat screen TV. One day we walked into Best Buy (just looking around) and laid my eyes on the Samsung 55" Curved 4K UHDTV and fell in love. We hooked it up and was amazed at the stunning clarity of the picture! Not to mention the apps and web surfing we can do on it. For our first smart TV I'm glad we choose this one. Price was a little more than we expected to pay, but was well worth it. Great TV!

The picture on this tv is awesome. The sales associate told us that the curved screen added little benefit unless you sit less than 8 feet away. We sit 6 feet away and it really enhances the viewing experience. The features of this set are good and the remote is easy to use. Overall, this is a great set.

This tv is outstanding everywhere. Picture quality and sounds are awesome even if it's not 3D. Ultra HD says it all watching regular movies not blu ray. Adding it's curveness makes it more theatrical viewing in any angle. The best tv I've ever had.

Did a lot of research on the Best Buy site and others before making a decision to buy this TV. Very happy with the ability of the curve to reduce glare in a room that has three large windows directly across from the TV. Picture is crisp and has excellent color. Tweaked several settings based on Rtngs.com recommendations and very, very happy with all aspects.

We researched this TV online and really wanted the 65". The salesman insisted that the smaller 55" was adequate for our room size. We already had a 50" 1080p 120htz Sony so the 55" wasn't all that much of a step up in relation to size. The picture however is amazing and a vast difference from our 7 year old Sony. so we went along with it on that alone. After having two other 65" models delivered a couple of weeks later we knew the smaller 55" wasn't going to cut it. We ultimately returned this model for another 65". The Magnolia salesman and the store manager that helped us with our purchase of the two larger models were exceptionally helpful in resolving the exchange of this TV. Both models are identical in relative to picture quality and refresh rate. Had it not been the size issue for the room we wanted it for, we would have been very happy with it. We highly recommend this TV, you won't be disappointed!

We have always had flat screen TVs, even before LCD ever came out. Plasma had an awesome picture but was new tech and really did not last long. This new curved Samsung really draws you in to the viewing experience and the picture quality is excellent.

I had the Samsung 55" curved TV. I upgraded to 3D and I really can tell the refresh rate. The old one was 120 hertz the new one is 240 hertz refresh rate. The new one has a crisper picture overall. I would recommend this to family and friends.

I just love the picture on this TV! It is so crisp and clear! I remember when 1080p first came out and how amazing that was, and this is just an extreme step in the right direction. Smart remote and all of the other features are fantastic and the 240 refresh rate should not be underestimated!

I've gotta say that this being only a 55" tv, which is what I had before, it appears more like a 60" or so because of the curve. It envelops your view more. And the 4K is stunning. Just stunning. Yes there's not a lot of 4K content yet but what is available (a lot of free content) looks ridiculously real. I've been through all iterations of HD starting back with my Samsung 720p "it's in the mirrors" to my vizio 1080p and I didn't think it could get any better. Wrong. The upscaling makes all other content more impressive too. The picture really doesn't do it justice for how big it really looks.

This TV is absolutely amazing. The picture is perfect as well as the curve makes it easy to see the TV from every angle. I can acces all my smart apps right in my living room. It's truly an amazing TV.

This tv wasn't on the floor, but they had it online. Now i bought it though the store. It didnt take long for it to come in. TV is wonderful, but it does have a lot of feature so need to read manual to know how they all work. had the tv for couple of months now and love it. Only problem I had was not read the manual up front.. GREAT PICTURE...

This TV fits perfect in the living room it's not too big not too small I love the curve excellent picture and great color. Excellent 4K. Ultra HD Smart TV .
