Probably the best purchase i made in recent times. I have to say this looks a piece of art in the living room. I wanted a 4k HDR, to go with my xbox one S and ps4 Pro. The only lil flaw in this TV is wifi connection sometimes drops but not to an extent that would bother. I was a bit confused about the curve but its surprisingly amazing, i stream netflix, play games and it does the job perfectly. The remote is also pretty sleek, set up is easy and overall i am super happy!! Go for it..

Man oh man is this TV Amazing....I had bought the Sony X850D about a month ago and I HATED IT. The TV was for my bedroom and when the lights were on the Sony looked amazing but as soon as the lights went off and dark scenes played on the screen MAN OH MAN did it look horrible...the black looked gray so it allowed all the edge light to show and the clouding was horrible...gaming on the Sony was AMAZING and HDR was great but dark scenes in my dark room were unpleasant so I took it back Today to Bestbuy and had a hassle-free return and exchange,customer service was great,I couldn't understand all the bad experiences people speak about having...maybe it's your attitude. Now to this AMAZING TV. This tv is all around balanced. The blacks and the contrast on this TV are spectacular and the colors pop out like crazy because of it,I saw the OLED tvs Today at best buy and truthfuly I can't tell the difference between this TV and the OLED tvs they had on the magnolia studio at best buy,no light bleed in dark scenes and no clouding and the colors look amazing. This tv was simple to set up,so that's another plus...I love this TV and I owned it's biggest competition for a month to know that this TV is the best out lol I probably sound like a Samsung fan boy but trust and believe I am not,this is an 100% review from a consumer,I recommend this TV. Also check out Rtings.com for their review on this TV,the Sony and all the other TVs in this competitive level. This TV is the #1 all around TV. Also use rtings.com calibration settings,it's on point.

We bought this tv along with a Samsung curved sound bar & sub woofer and a Samsung DVD player. The pic is immersive...detail just blows my mind. Great color, very black blacks. Sound bar and DVD integrate well also. The software (Samsung's Smart hub) is kinda beta - needs some work, doesn't play well with non Samsung devices. You can still make it work, don't get me wrong, but it's not seamless like Apple devices. Aesthetically, the system is very clean, cool looking (see pic). Just hovers off the wall!

I did a lot of research before making this purchase. This is by far the best 55" 4K Smart TV with HDR that you can buy for under $1,500. Not only is the picture outstanding, but the overall design is like a work of art. The tv also pairs nicely with Samsung devices. Mine is set to have the weather displayed on the screen for me when I wake up for work. The processing power is more than you need for a TV. You can jump from app to app almost seamlessly with very little to virtually no loading time. The browser and streaming apps load very quickly over wifi just as a standard computer would. I love it. I would highly recommend. I upgraded to this from a 2012 47" LG 3D Cinema TV that was no slouch in the quality department, even when compared to the newest non 4k tvs available today, and the difference is still like night and day. No regrets. Just buy it!

A Christmas gift to myself in 2016! I figured the only way to make a disappointing year better is to make 2017 the best ever! My New SUHD Samsung - 55 Class (54.6 Diag.) - Led - Curved - 2160p - Smart - 4k Ultra Hd Tv - With High Dynamic Range. I love this "beautiful" television. The picture is crisp and clear, colors are stunning in vivid red hues, blues, and pinks, plus, the curve gives you a panoramic view for a classic movie theatre experience. Many apps to choose from and built-in WIFI. It has pretty much everything except 3D. I made a good investment in this one! No regrets...

Amazing picture. Everyone who sees it raves. I use it for gaming, movies, and sports. No screen or picture issues. Remote is simple yet very effective. I bought a rubber sleeve for it since the batteries explode out if dropped. Problem solved. Love this tv. So glad I have it.

I purchased this TV in February of 2017. After I set it up I immediately noticed what I thought were a few dead pixels in the bottom right corner. As dead pixels are common and not very noticeable from my standard viewing distance I ignored them. After a few months, I noticed the dead pixels were becoming a line in the bottom right corner. This started to concern me so I began troubleshooting steps. The Line appeared on all inputs and was obviously something wrong with the panel. I am pretty busy so it took me about a month to contact Samsung. In that time the small line has grown to be about 3 inches long. Samsung is sending a technician to repair or authorize a replacement TV. That was the bad, now the good. I bought this TV specifically for its great reviews on Rtings.com. I watch a lot of streaming media and play a lot of games. I wanted a TV that looked great and could with stand static images for long periods of time. This TV is beautiful once it is properly calibrated to your viewing area. If it is not properly calibrated it is extremely bright and can tend to wash out images. Also if uncalibrated you will lose a lot of detail in the blacks. This TV is in no way perfect and there are more average consumer friendly TV's. In fact for a little more The LG B6 Oled will give you better blacks and less user calibration required. I highly suggest if you opt to purchase this TV then pay for a certified technician to calibrate it. It is not a decision you will regret and it will extend the life of your TV. Last, I want to talk about sound. This TV has great sound quality for a flat panel with rear facing speakers. I do not have a sound bar and my tv sits on a tv stand about 1 and a half feet from the wall. The sound is clear and crisp and can be heard fine even at lower volumes. Overall happy with this product. I'll update if I can after Samsung repairs my current TV.

This TV is amazing. I've never Owned a TV with better picture quality than this. Tell picture quality is amazing very detailed clear and lifelike. TV design is beautiful with chrome accents and The Chrome Feet are Great Quality and keeps the TV very Sturdy. There is less than a half inch border on the bezel you barely notice it is there. The Sound is better than expected better than on any other TV I've Owned. This is the First Curved TV I've ever owned so far I like the Curve. I had a Samsung 49" KS8000 Flat TV which was really good too but when I saw this 55" Curved TV on Sale for $1499 last week I exchanged The 49" For This one. This TV has better viewing angle than the 49" KS8000 perhaps the Curve is the difference but the viewing angles are definitely better on this TV as I've seen both firsthand.It was a great deal to me for this TV and I definitely Recommend it.

Purchased this Samsung 55'' Curved 4K TV about a month ago (Nov 2016), and I have to say I'm pretty impressed as a novice electronics purchaser. The colors are amazing, the brightest is perfect, and the picture quality blows my mind. The preinstalled SmartTV software is a nice touch, especially Netflix with 4K viewing options (the 60 minute fireplace is oddly satisfying). With 4 HDMI ports, you have plenty of options for attaching all your devices. Wall mounting options are there, but I am using the stands it came with and I have to say its pleasantly sturdy. Only cons so far are the TV puts off a decent amount of heat, so a smaller room well definitely feel the warmth and the "smart" remote has a cheap feel to it, very light plastic and the battery cover likes to slide off. Over all I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a 4K option in this price range.

Excellent TV. Brought this back in 2017, still in 2021 getting compliments for everyone that comes overs on how amazing the TV looks and incredible the picture is compared to other high end TV's out there in the market currently.

The first TV we purchased 4 years ago (online - Amazon) we liked a lot, and it is still in use in my ex's living room. It has a fine picture, but the UI leaves a lot to be desired. This one however nailed the UI, has an AMAZING picture, and even decent on board sound (adding a sound bar soon though).

My son threw a car into older big screen so it was time to upgrade. I previously had Samsung for 6 yrs with no problems so I went with Samsung. 4 k video is amazing. Minimal to no blurr I can see. Remote is small and at 1st I was surprised but after using it it is a great new design and easy to use. Only concern I had is when viewed from extreme angle on black screens you can see some light bleed from top of screen. This is expected since it is edge lit led. So far it's best tv I have had. Wifi is fast. Very slim and light to wall mount. I purchased Samsung sound bar with satellite sub and now I have a movie theater in my living room. Would purchase again.

I couldn't ask for a better TV to build my new man cave around. Thin, light & sleek exterior with a picture perfect screen. This TV is even better than I could have ever imagined.

Love the quality of the picture. I get compliments every time someone new comes over. I'm going to enjoy this for many years to come.

The quality of the product is phenomenal. I have been a Samsung product lover for around 20 and I must say astounded. The picture is crisp and crystal. Can't go wrong. My only complaint is this particular model isn't 3D ready.

Television has great picture and picture quality is great even from the side view. Sound quality is excellent. Love the tv.
