    Best Buy gave such good pricing and the quality of the whole tv is outstanding, I would recommend a little better sound quality, best rather then that it’s wonderful.

    First of all I have to say how much I enjoyed my regular 1080p HD 50” Samsung tv I purchased a couple of years ago. It has the best picture and close to 4K without being 4K... So I purchased this tv today and I gotta say they did not disappoint me at all. However I will admit that I was on a limited budget and purchased a vizio 55” v-series 4K hdtv and that was the worst decision I could have made. The 4K was alright but not the beat I’ve seen. The regular 1080p hdtv portion of the vizio was complete garbage and looked like a standard old school tv picture. So luckily I decided I needed to take it back to Best Buy and exchange it which was no problem at all. I bought this Samsung 4K hdtv 55” and I am just as happy with this one as my other Samsung. Basically I bite the bullet on the extra 50 bucks and man was it worth it. Got the settings the way I want them very similar to my other one and I am happy. If you like the price of any vizio tv no days I suggest to stay away as it has come to light that they do not use or make the parts in the US anymore and they use cheaper crap parts manufactured from out of country. Vizio used to be good back in their hay day but not anymore! Samsung is the way to go and I’m not looking back from this purchase!

    I bought a TCL 4 months ago. The ROKU app kept making the tv crash. Took it back to BB and bought Samsung NU7100. Was real happy with it. After about 4 weeks started to get a 4” wide vertical line down the center. Samsung did the right thing and took that TV back and I replaced it with this 55” RU7100. “So Far” this TV is fantastic with a great picture and no big vertical lines. I’m going to wait approximately another 4 to 6 weeks and if there are no signs of any issues with this TV I will buy the same TV in a 50” for my bedroom.

    Size was perfect for us however the "smart" part of the TV has proven to be very frustrating. Volume output isn't that great. We purchased a sound bar separately to help with that. I couldn't connect it to the internet. Upon powering on, it defaults to the Samsung TV menu. We have a Hulu subscription so still needed to use a Fire Stick. Overall just needed too many add on items to use effectively.

    I have had this television for a week and am very satisfied!Consumer reports recommended this set for its picture and sound .I agree with their rating!The set was very easy to set up and instructions were clear!The legs were simple to attach!This set is a bargain if the quality holds up like my two other Samsung sets!

    My LG 50" TV went out that I bought 11/2016 of course the extended warranty had expired. I had bought a 55" Samsung at the same time, so I decided to replace my LG with another Samsung. My only complaint was with mounting it. I had the LG mounted on the wall and of course the salesman told me I would be able to use the same wall mount hardware, which was true except for the screws. Now the first time was my fault, I tried the screws and they were too short so I went and bought same type screws just longer, well turned out they were different thread. The LG was standard thread, the Samsung is Metric. Now here is the kicker, I decided I needed to look at the manual to see what size of screw I needed. What the manual does NOT tell you is that you need 2 different lengths of screws. The manual says you need 4 M8 1.25 43-75mm You actually need 2 25mm and 2 40mm. After several trips back and forth to the HD I finally got the screws and was able to mount the TV. Setup was pretty painless. Picture is good and sound is good. Remote has lots more features than the Samsung I bought in 2016, appears that I don't need my cable remote with this one. Haven't hooked up my LG soundbar yet, not sure if it is compatible or if I even want to. Will see how long this one last. I did buy the 5 year extended warranty with this one so I should be covered.

    I have been using it for over 3 years now. Loved the experience and no complaints at all. Easy installation/mounting. I added sound amplifiers for enhanced experience.

    I bought this TV after returning a TCL that I was not completely happy with. I primarily bought this TV for gaming. 4k and HDR content is very good on this set and gaming is excellent. You have to adjust the settings a bit but once that is done the picture is excellent. I suggest the Movie setting for most content.

    Since I have several friends who've purchased Samsung TVs I decided to go with a Samsung recently when I needed to replace an old LG plasma TV that finally died. The poor experience I encountered began with the set-up which took forever and I ended up spending a considerable amount of time working through the process with a Samsung rep. She was able to get me up and running, but it was a long, involved process which took many attempts through trial and error to get everything activated and working properly. Immediately I noticed the sound was terrible - weak and I had to bump it to a high number. It was so bad I ended up going out and buying a sound bar to supplement the poor sound output of the TV. The following night I watched some Netflix programs. The next morning I turned on the TV to watch the news and discovered the settings had all defaulted back to the original settings and I had to complete the set up again. Luckily I recalled what the Samsung rep showed me on Day 1. A few days later I went to watch TV and ended up spending 90 minutes on the phone with Samsung because the TV was turning off and on repeatedly. The app icons all became pixilated and wouldn't correct themselves. They finally deemed the TV to have a corrupt software program and I had to return it to Best Buy. I was reluctant to give the same model another try after all the trouble. I decided to purchase an LG with all the same bells and whistles. The set up on the LG was a breeze, the sound quality is superior to Samsung and I'm very pleased with the picture quality.
