But is garbage with only being direct line of sight with tv to use it. No matter what i try i cannot get the Alexa to work by speaking into remote.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the issues you’re experiencing when using voice control on your CU8000 TV. First, let's ensure Alexa has been set up correctly. Go to Settings > General > Voice > Voice Assistant > Alexa.
After setup, to run your selected Voice Assistant, press and hold the button, say a command, and then release the button to run Voice Assistant. The Samsung Smart Remote may not recognize your voice when it is far away from you, turned upside down, or in an environment with loud ambient noise. Use the Samsung Smart Remote less than 2 feet (1.5 m) from you with the remote buttons facing upward.
If voice recognition does not work with your remote and there is no response, even if the Voice Assistant button is pressed, the connection between the remote control and the TV may be lost. Try pairing the remote control with the TV:
1) Press the RETURN and ENTER keys together for about 10 seconds.
2) The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backward-pointing arrow.
3) The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the picture and sound quality of the CU8000 TV. There are several volume and sound features you can adjust, which may improve your experience.
1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.
2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.
3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.
4) To adjust the color on your TV, go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings.
Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.
