I had a 9 year old Sansumg smart tv. Which I loved, but this new tv is so much brighter, WOW WHAT 9YEARS OF TECHNOLOGY WILL DO !!!!!!!

The TV has a great picture. However, it has some feature whereby you can also have it present like a picture on a wall. Somehow, we have enabled this and now the tv turns on by itself. The tv is in a finished basement so its inconvenient to go down there just to see if its and turn it off. Yesterday in the span of a few hours it came on three times. I ended up just unplugging it. We have tried everything that we can find on google but nothing has stopped it yet. Rather frustrated.
It’s unfortunate to hear your TV is turning off by itself. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds. 2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage. 3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet. 4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

The picture is very clear. I purchased a sound bar with the TV. There is several seconds delay before the sound comes on.

The picture quality is nice but not great. You will want a sound bar since the sound quality is terrible. Tizen takes some time to get used to, but it's pretty good. For the price, I would say an all-around good TV.

I really thought the picture quality would be outstanding but it’s just Very nice. I’ve always had TCL smart TV’s in the last 10 years so there’s a learning curve getting used to different settings.

The QLED Smart Tizen TV has a nice picture. However I found the volume to be low requiring that I go to the highest range to be able to hear some shows/programs.
