The TV has a very nice picture but the sound needs to be on in the mid 20's to hear it. And it gets worse when streaming services are on.

I love this tv. I have it connected to a surround sound system. The remote is very user friendly. I don’t miss all of the extra buttons.

This has been a great TV, awesome color! Paid around $1600. I am sure it is cheaper now. But, that is how the TV market works.

I spoke with Samsung and they couldn’t help me, I purchased my tv in 2022 and it has a big black line growing across the top of the screen and it keeps getting worse with time, I’ve had many tvs with Vizio being the latest one which lasted me 10 years, I’ve never had any issues especially this quick, I think it is the styrofoam they add on top of the tv in the box and applies to much pressure, do better Samsung and your customer service isn’t good either.

The set up/start up was quick and simple. The remote was easy to learn. Picture quality was great.

This Samsung tv Q80A QLED Tv is one of the best tv screens I have seen in recent times. Its super sleek bezels are definitely noticeable. My unboxing experience was stunning and was spellbound by the simplistic design. The setup of the Device was simple. This is because of the simplistic design of tv package. small things like box opening handles and the accessories placement were clearly planned well placed. Coming to the TV, It has a stunning 4K resolution with a 120hz display. I have used multiple Samsung TVs over few years and I can definitely see a difference in the screen resolution and the content playing. I tried using apps like Youtube and Netflix, and they are well optimized for the TV. This Tv has 4 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports and an ethernet port for direct line internet connectivity(must for a 4k streaming experience). I didn't see any lags in the tv functionality and the initial setup was very easy. Worth mentioning feature/accessory of this TV is the remote. This is not like any other remote I have seen in a while. This has a USB-C charging port and doesn't need batteries. additionally, this remote charges using mini solar panels that are planed in the back of the remote. They work on the ambient light in the room to charge the remote. Pretty cool stuff. Another thing to mention is the inbuilt audio was okay and can be better. the audio becomes too squeaky when turned up. we are using this tv in a 550 sqft room and the audio is not too loud. although a Samsung soundbar can fix this problem. This is a great TV. But I gave it 4 starts for 2 reasons. 1 - the price of the TV should have been around $750 Max in my opinion. I purchased it at $999. 2- It only has 1 4k HDMI port when it should have had all 4. This is the biggest problem I have with the TV. The colors are great and gaming on is perfect. The sound is the best sound I have ever had on a flat screen TV.

Everything look nice and it’s on 4k so video quality is amazing.

My family has really enjoyed this TV since purchasing a few months ago. Great picture and works perfectly with our Samsung Soundbar. The Q Symphony feature allows for room filling sound and the TV smart features are perfect for streaming hockey with a much better picture than our previous 1080p TV.

A very good replacement for my older Samsung Model from 2014. Setup was very easy by simply following the automated on-screen guides. Picture, color and sound are much improved over the older model. Although very acceptable, a sound-bar would definitely enhance the sound quality. This purchase represented a good buy at a fair price.

Amazing color and no banding that I have seen...not bad for dark detailed movies either...of course only thing better is the Sony OLED at a much higher cost....this is great for movies and is bright when needed or wanted. The sound is above par and very realistic as well. Will add pics soon

This is a superb 55 inch UHD TV. As with all my other Samsung TV‘s the picture is clear, sharp, vibrant, and. The TV is fast, particularly navigating You Tube, and YOu Tube TV. I have Roku. and I found that my 11 year old Samsung 1080P TV was quite slow. The CPU in the new UHD TV is at least 10 times as fast. The menu to control the TV options is extensive, but is a little hard to control the cursor which is jumpy and skips to selections further down the row if you are not careful. However the choices are plentiful, well arranged, and easy to understand. The TV remote is easy to learn, but the controls need better definition as far as feel and touch. They are not backlit which makes them harder to see in the evening. The instruction booklet is meager, but this is not uncommon these days as the electronics companies expect the end user to rely upon the online content included in the menu or on the website. Overall, aside for the few complaints, I am quite satisfied.

The picture is clear and sharp with good color. New apps are easy to load. We like having one remote control everything including the Firestick (which we have to have for our TV provider). Only small negative is that we'd like to arrange the apps as we desire and Samsung has seen fit not to allow us to delete or move Netflix - we're not subscribers so it's just in the way.

Needed to update our 12 year old tvs in the our exercise room because they were dumb TVs and no longer worked for streaming. The picture quality is excellent and so is the sound. Easy to use and it was perfect for me to stay motivated while working out. Love YouTube quick clips on how to do things.

Clear and great picture even when watching fast pace sporting events

I replaced my older Samsung 3d TV with this newer model after the other TV developed a darker band across the middle of the screen. I really like the enhanced resolution and it is faster connecting to Netflix and Prime. Great sound at 15 feet from our viewing chairs. Pretty easy to set up.

Purchased for an elderly parent. Picture is clear, sound amazing - everything we were looking for. Replaced an older Sony that was not user friendly. Smart features and streaming are much more simple and easy to use. Have purchased Samsung for personal use in past, will stick with this brand in the future
