The tv is a great buy. I spend a lot of time outside.

We splurged on this expensive TV hoping for the highest quality. It worked well for about 2 months until one day a black spot appeared, about 2 inches in diameter. Two days later the whole screen turned black showing an internal crack and the TV is unusable. Samsung refuses to honor the warranty saying there was an external force that caused the damage. There is no sign of damage whatsoever on the outside of the TV when it's turned off, it hangs up high on a wall out of reach of anyone, under a roof - no balls or birds, not even rain can reach it. We are very disappointed with the TV and the poor customer service - WILL NEVER BUY A SAMUNG PRODUCT AGAIN.

We are very happy with the picture quality and brightness for outside viewing. Friends had told us you don’t need to pay the extra bucks by buying the more expensive outdoor TV. After researching the web, talking to numerous TV technicians and the Geek Squad; we decided not to gamble. We are happy we didn’t once it was installed! There was indeed a big difference with superior picture quality vs our friends TVs being used outdoor. We also have peace of mind knowing our TV was built for outdoor use!

Only a month in, but so far I love this tv. Bought the 55" Terrace Series, wall mounted it where my patio meets the back of my home. Sun shines on the opposite side of my house so the tv is in partial shade as recommended by Samsung. My tv mount includes a locking mechanism that prevents the tv from being lifted off its mount, which adds a little peace of mind. Bright colorful picture viewable from any angle, more than adequate sound without a sound bar, installed easily - I have home repair experience. Bought a canvas cover for the weather and I'm having a cabinet maker build a bi-folding doors cabinet that will soon surround the tv. My only issue (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) was the door on the back of the tv where cables install. After removing the screws that lock the door closed, the door would flip open only partially, not all the way. I felt like the plastic door would break if I forced it open all the way - so I needed to carefully squeeze the power and HDMI cables through the partially open door to plug them in.

This TV has all the tech features you're expecting. It was mounted in place of where my last TV had set, the outdoor BBQ/Patio area. The exterior finishes of this TV and especially the "Frame" around it looks and feels great, as if you were hanging a piece of framed art on your wall. The TV plugged in and played well with my SAVANT system. All good there, except that for some reason it won't shut off by the SAVANT commands. For that I need to use the included remote (I'm sure I can call out the IT Company to configure it eventually to shut off by the SAVANT commands). The included remote is impressive. It is made of aluminum and feels sturdy, has weight to it, and feels great in hand. I'm only a tiny bit annoyed by one thing related to this TV. It seems the Samsung brand cover for this specific TV is proving very hard to get. I'll keep trying but it is either sold out everywhere or not available for some other reason. For now I have a non-Samsung produced cover in place (I bought it on the Best Buy website). It does fit but it is far from ideal, in terms of opening and closing it when the TV is being used or not used.

12/10. Would highly recommend the Terrace to anyone looking for a well built, amazing picture outdoor TV. Withstands the Vegas heat well thus far.

So far this is the best picture and feature outdoor TV I’ve seen. It’s bright in bright sunlight and has all the smart functionality. The obvious downside is the price, although it is comparable to other outdoor TVs.

We bought this TV open box and when we got it home the cooling fan wasn't working so the TV would shut down .. we did get a 5 year warranty from Best buy and so we took it to Geek Squad and then sent it to Samsung . We got the TV back and it is beautiful. We had to wait 3 weeks but totally worth it .. The TV is amazing

Great picture! Sounds good . These outside tvs are a bit pricey but im definitely happy with my purchase.

We really are enjoying our new TV on the lanai. I did a lot of research and decided to purchase The Terrace. We have never had an outdoor TV so was concerned about getting one that would provide both a great picture and will stand up to the Florida weather. At this time I would highly recommend this TV.

Purchased this TV in February and it has performed perfectly, even in the extremes of weather this year. It is mounted on an outdoor covered deck and does receive partial sunlight. We have seen highs up to 117 degrees this year and have had no issues. I recommend this TV.

Went through to indoor TVS on my patio so I decided enough was enough. purchased the Samsung Terrace from Best Buy based on the recommendation. It seems to be built to with stand the elements (moisture and salt air) and the picture is assume, can even see it during the day from my pool (30 FT). The sales rep and installation team were all great.

Will only buy Samsung TV’s because they are so far superior. This is my first outdoor TV and to no surprise it delivers on picture quality, ease of use, and set up. If I have to say anything of opportunity is the sound. Depending on the space you’re going to use it, recommend getting a sound bar or extra speakers.

Picture quality is great and plenty of supported apps. One down side is im having trouble connecting to the internet thru the wired option. Wirless is ok ,but sounds like there is a problem, maybe known to Samsung already that whatever piece the cable connects to doesnt always process the signal. So far i have been able to work around this with the wireless option.

I purchased this 55” Samsung Terrace TV and had it installed by the Geek Squad. Wow, am I happy. It is hung from the ceiling and they checked clearances and made sure it was level. The picture is outstanding and I love the fact that I can stream through the TV without the need of an additional device like a fire stick. Just like an indoor TV, I can download Apps to TV and stream programs. It’s only been about a month and there’s been no extreme weather so I can’t speak to that but I don’t anticipate any problems. The porch is covered and screened so direct sunlight is not an issue for me. I am just enjoying being able to sit on my porch, with a beer and cigar (can’t smoke in the house) and not miss any of whatever game I am watching. The TV is expensive - but you get what you pay for - and worth it in my opinion.

Picture quality is stellar. So easy to use with all the installed apps. Just plug it in and enjoy whatever it may be. Apple TV to Hulu to Disney+ to my families favorite Youtube TV.

Great picture. Good brightness outside. Holding up to weather. Like any smart TV, the app to control the TV isn't that smart... It does let you add apps using phone or computer. It is still a lot of clicking / typing to recreate stuff you have on another TV...

Great product made for outdoor conditions. The chassis, brightness and all other details are made to stand the tough conditions.

Great TV! The picture is almost too clear. Holds up well outside and even though partial sun still great in full sun. Is buy another one

Great size and picture. Big enough to be seen from nearly all the seating areas on our patio with great picture even at an angle. Adding the separate Terrace Speaker provides clear sound as well.
