Great TV for outdoor use. Brightness is key and makes a world of a difference from an indoor TV. Trick is still incorporating sound bar and system but TV sound is decent.

This is an awesome TV for a patio. The picture is great and there is no glare. It is under a roof so there is no direct sunlight. My wife and I love this TV.

Can't Get Enough TV time indoors? Try it outdoors with the Samsung Terrace Series TV. Mine is installed on our Lanai Wall and is great for viewing while preparing a BBQ party!

We haven't owned the TV long enough to know how it will withstand heat, dust, moisture, etc. We get decent sound without using external speakers. TV is mounted in a shady area, so glare isn't an issue.

Love our new TVs (LG 55" C1 OLED and the Samsung Terrace for outdoors). Also enjoying our two new SONOS MOVE speakers. And the installation guys were excellent!

If I could give this product 0 stars I would...along with their terrible customer service.
I got this outdoor TV for my roof deck, covered by a pergola/covering to protect it from the elements & sun. I also got the Samsung Terrace cover to go with it for further protection that we use religiously after each use. The TV has defected with streaks down the top and center of the screen, which the product team claims as sun-related and improper installation.
This is clearly a product related defect given it has hardly partial sun with my covered pergola roof above it. The TV is still under warranty but customer service claimed it was "Improper installation" and cannot do anything to help. They originally told me they would send a specialist out to come look at it but instead relied on pictures of TV alone to diagnose this "Improper installation" even though they cannot see any of the surrounding pergola/coverings.
Samsung has proven to me that as of today they still cannot make a high quality outdoor TV and unfortunately for us consumers, Samsung is not willing to take responsibility for these defects and repair/replace this product still under warranty. Very poor customer service and worst investment I have made.

Thank you for your review of The Terrace TV. Please know that The Terrace Partial Sun TV is designed for use in partial shade, with exposure to indirect or ambient sunlight only. To ensure proper performance, the TV screen should not be exposed to direct sunlight. If the TV screen is exposed to direct sunlight, it can develop dark areas. This is a common symptom and dark areas will disappear when the screen is taken out of direct sunlight. Continuous exposure to direct sunlight may cause damage to the TV screen.
Despite the IP55 and IP56 ratings, your TV and remote control are not impervious to water damage in any situation. To help prevent damage to your products, avoid the products being subjected to: • Water projected by a source greater than 6.3 mm against enclosure from any direction or submersion in water. • Water projected at greater than 30 KPa (4.4 PSI) with a water volume greater than 12.5 liters/minute for more than 3 minutes and extreme weather conditions.
