We purchased the sound bar that goes with the tv from Best Buy as well. The sound is ridiculous and clear on the patio.

Great picture, solid build and the best suite of streaming apps available. Important if you're putting this TV outside the reach of a CATV connection. Add the soundbar. Really helps the outdoor experience.

Ours is partially covered and no glare issues during day. I added the sound bar which was worth it as regular tv volume ok but with soundbar you can hear into the back yard.
