The cast iron grates cover the entire top of the range so it makes it easy to slide pans from one burner to the next without having to lift heavy pans.

Only issue, when brushed against, front controls are very sensitive and can turn on. May have to lock them when not in use.

I would not recommend this. Two of them have broken off very easily, and I have tried to order replacements which are on back order from the company. It’s been months that I have not been able to use two of my main burners. As for this reason, I do not recommend this stove at all.
