I bought this 4K TV from Best Buy a week ago, and absolutely love it! I chatted with a Samsung representative online prior to my purchase, and he assured me that this TV has HDMI 2.0 and is HDCP 2.2 compliant. The only drawback is it lacks HDR, which will be a feature on the upcoming UHD Blu Ray players with HDMI 2.0a. This feature allows the TV to display a wider and richer range of colors, much brighter whites, and much deeper, darker black to make the picture more lifelike. However for the money I paid, this was a steal. It has an absolutely beautiful picture, even with my HD cable box. I returned a LG 4K IPS 55 inch because it's up-scaling on the content from my cable box was mediocre. My old Samsung 55 inch 1080p looked better. However this Samsung 4K 60 inch does a great job up-scaling content from my cable box and it looks better than my old 1080p TV.The 4K content from YouTube and Netflix looks amazing! I popped in a 3D Blu Ray (Avatar) movie and it was stunning! The Samsung Active 3D glasses I picked up for $20 is incredible. This TV has so much bang for the buck, that I had to give it 5 stars even with it missing HDR. A 60 inch UHD Smart TV with 240 Motion Rate, Active 3D, excellent 4K up-scaling, local dimming and a rich looking bezel and stand....all for under a thousand dollars? You just can't beat it at this time!

I was replacing an HD Big Screen TV from 2003, which was the big bulky projection type. I didn't want to pay a lot at this time because I am holding out for a top of the line model when it reaches a more affordable level. The reviews were very positive on Best Buy and Amazon sites. There were some comments that this didn't have the Samsung made screen and that it was produced specifically for making a killing for Super Bowl Sunday. I didn't care about all that. I went to the Best Buy store to see what the picture looked like and it was a fantastic picture. It had a few more updated features than some of the earlier mid priced 2015 models such as a motion rate of 240 (actual is probably 120), and nano crystal tech. It was 3D which is an added bonus. The TV was delivered within 3 days of order and was set up by the deliverers as promised. They hauled away the older TV. After a little tweaking the picture was the way I preferred. I hooked it up to my local phone companies fiber optic HD box. It up converted to 1080P. I also hooked it up to the Samsung 3D Blue Ray Up converting Player which plays regular dvd's at 1080p and Blue Ray's at 4k (3840 x 2160). The picture was gorgeous. Not sure which was doing the conversion. It was probably the Blue Ray Player. The TV instantly recognized my wireless settings and when I went to you tube for 4k content the TV displayed it at 4k as designed. I had never been a 3D fan but since I had a few disc's that were 3D I tested the TV and Blue Ray Player to see if it had improved since I last tried it back when 3D began showing up in the mid 2000's. I was extremely impressed with how far the technology had come. All in all I was very impressed with this TV which performed excellently.

I questioned the quality of this model when I saw how relatively inexpensive the TV was for the size and features. Needless to say those fears have been laid toff rest. The picture is just as good if not better than any other Samsung 4k HD TV but 2 things stick out...the motion rate of 240 (compared to a comparable SUHD unit with only a 120 rate and $400 more) and the 3d capabilities. I have tried the 3d and it works ok rendering 2d to 3d but watching 3d content is AMAZING!!! I have owned 3 Samsung TVs before this one and 2 are still going strong (the other had dead pixel issues beyond the warranty period). The silver bezel is also very attractive and contemporary. I was able to lift the entire until above my fireplace onto the mantle by myself. It weighs about 60 pounds fully assembled so it is not the lightest model available but I enjoy the sturdy feel of the base as it sits on top of my mantle. Some of the preset picture setting are either too dark or too bright but standard works for most instances. Another great feature is the HDMI and USB hub that can be located anywhere near the TV so if all your components are the left or right, you can move the hub to be on that side. This is a great purchase even with some of the featured not being installed like the voice activation and integrated keyboard in the remote. I have had the TV for almost 3 months and the versatility this set offers will provide any techy enough options to impress their friends and family.

The picture quality is just what you'd expect from Samsung. Crystal clear images, smooth transitioning, and great contrast. The sound quality is also good. Easy setup. The 3D feature is great for adding depth to regular TV, watching Blu-Ray 3D movies, as well as playing video games in dual play mode. I purchased the Xpand X-105-RF-X1 glasses, and they work great with this TV.

I have had this tv for 3-4 weeks. A primary reason for the purchase was the price,$999.99, and 4K capability. The 3D, Wi-Fi, streaming and other features were extra bonuses. I 'm in the process of fine tuning the picture and sound. Adjustments were needed for the backlight, flesh tone, and audio delay. 3D glasses had to be purchased separately. Thus far, I am very happy with my purchase

I didn't go into Best Buy looking for a new tv even though my plasma tv had just died. It was on sale so I decided to buy it. The picture is great and the upscaling even on movies from the 70's is great. There have been a few shows/sports that there has been a little blurring with a lot of movement but I haven't played with the setting yet. The smart tv hub thing works really well.

Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, a 4k 3d tv Loving my new beautiful 4K 3D television with amazing audio, a beautiful picture and awesome 3D video which my kid are digging all the time.. The video is extraordinary in 4K... A thin design and a gorgeous display looks wonderful in my living room...

Haven't purchased a new TV since 2006 (Sharp Aquos 1080 42 inch). This new Samsung is amazing. Picture quality is great, 3D option is a nice feature (even though we wont use it very often). Couldn't beat the price (purchased prior to the big football game. Love it and wish I had the disposable income for a second one.

This TV is great!! I had a Toshiba from 2008 that needed replacing. I did some research and figured this TV was an excellent deal that couldn't be passed up ($1,000 with delivery). I took my old Toshiba off the wall mount and easily mounted the existing bracket to this TV. This TV does not have any or very few outputs on the back of the television. Instead, it has a master cord that runs from the television to a junction box that has plenty of outputs, optical audio, several HDMIs and USB. There may be others I'm not remembering. That means a maximum of two cords hanging down from the television. The upscaling capabilities is great too. I haven't tried watching anything in 4K yet, but I'm sure it is great. It has very easy set-up and simple functions. I would definitely recommend this TV.

Love the size but it is unfortunate that samsung doesn't utilize their best panels in the 60" size. I would gladly have paid $300 more for an original TH02 etc. Samsung panel as I've compared them with identical feeds and the difference is quite significant to my eyes in colors and motion blur among other. Couldn't afford their SUHD. Indeed as another reviewer herein said, the 3D is too Dark. Remote sucks for smart TV but no biggie I'll get a $25 keyboard and pad combo from amazon. 1080 feeds and OTA look good/great cable and satellite compressed/poor feed stations look poor as expected on most 4K TV's. All the latter whining aside I consider this TV a good bridge and great value until content quality 1080+ is abundant. It sets the bar for a name-brand sub $1000 4K TV of which there are more to come. Nice job Samsung.

this is every thing i expected. i upgraded from a 1080 sony non smart tv to this 4 k version smart tv because i wanted a bigger tv, the sony was 55" this new samsung is 60" & i wanted a smart t v. this is everything i ha d hoped for, the color is much better, brighter & deeper than my old t v & the screen speed make a very noticible difference in the picture quality when watching action movies etc. the ease of use for my amazon fire & other apps. is great, much easier with one smart remote to navigate. I am not one to watch 3 d so i have not tried this feature but i am sure at some point my grand kids will be checking this part out. I like the overall Samsung expreience

I decided to upgrade from my 50" LG plasma that's about 6 years after seeing this deal at best buy, and it has been a great decision so far. I've read all the reviews online about it being a sharp panel, but regardless the picture quality is excellent and appears to live up to its specs. The Smart hub works smoothly and was important to me as I frequently use Netflix. Upgraded my Netflix to the premium (4k, UHD) account and fell in love. There are no HDMI ports on the unit itself which was a big surprise when unboxing, rather it uses the external one connect mini which includes 4 hdmi's and two usb's. This actually works out well for me as I mounted mine, but i could see how it may create problems if you are using the included stand. There are clearly superior TV's on the market such as Samsung's SUHD models and LG's OLED's, but if you're in the market for a 60" 4k TV, you won't find a better deal right now.

This tv has a great picture, 3D, 120hz and is 60 inches! Price range was perfect. I tried and returned several tv's because picture was not upto par. This is a 2016 tv and has met my expectations! I've had it for about 2 months.

This is the best TV for the money. The picture is insane. I wasn't sure if I would like 3D but I can't watch movies any other way now. This is a must have product. J don't have one negative review.

Very glad that I bought this before the price went up by 400 bucks. Excellent picture quality in 4k and upscaling is a top notch. Also enjoyed 3D movies especially the Avatar 3D.

Beautiful picture, it is as if we are always watching live TV. And the price was fantastic for a 3D 4K Ultra LED TV.

This is one of the lower end UHD of samsung in the 60 inch category. But for the price under one thousand dollars with mid-smart tv functionality and near high end picture quality,the overall rating for it would be atleast a 4 and a half star. The sound is typical for smart tv entry, but a 400-500 watt samsung sound bar with ARC functionality pairing with this TV would nullified that flaw. I hang it over my firewall with a low profile mount and it is just right enough when it comes to size. Watching a distance of 9-20 ft. and an angle no more than 160 degrees is my recommendation for an optimum viewing experience. Plus, if you have a 3D blu-ray player with a 3d compatible HDMI cable, all you need is glasses to have a full 3D experience. Overall, it is one of the best TV in it's own category and in all other brands.

This tv met my expectations and then some. sharp picture easy set up the only issue i have is that it randomly shuts off. doesnt do it all the time and always comes right back on

Got it for $899 plus tax. Have it for 1 week and no issue so far. Good picture, decent black, good contrast, decent motion with PS4 games. Fast smart apps - Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, PlayStation Now and etc... Only 1 con is poor off angle color/contrast.

The picture is outstanding, the color is superb. The 3 D feature is great. Best TV I have ever had.
