I've only had this a few weeks but so far so good. Very nice color and picture quality. I have this is a very bright room and colors look vivid even in bright daylight.

Great blacks, sharp picture, looks great, loaded with features. I wish sound was better!

Amazing picture quality. Easy to use and navigate the menus. Only downfall I've noticed are the speakers aren't great. I got a soundbar and that solved the problem.

I had been looking at the un60ks6500, but BEST BUY put the 8000 on sale. There was no comparison between the two tv's, so I purchased the 8000 series for less money.

Great picture but after 3rd day standard picture mode had darkened. Will have to check into that, must of been something I did. Love the remote control with speech.

I got the tv and it had some light bleed across the bottom so I brought it back to return, got another one and this one is a lot better, has a small amount of light bleed in the bottom corner but barely noticeable. Great colors and brightness on this model. HDR looks fantastic

This television has the best picture I have ever seen. Easy to set up. For the price you won't be disappointed. Fantastic. Makes 1080 look like Standard Definition.

Just upgraded from 50 to 60 inch and it this picture is phenomenal! The depth of this tv almost gives a 3D appearance. The colors are so beautiful and really pop.

Picture is fantastic!! The features and apps are awesome. I use Pandora all of the time. I'm a big sports fan and it's definitely what you want if you love sports.

Rather than going into all of the technical details regarding this tv, I will just say that if you do your research, you will be hard-pressed to find a better tv at this price point. It is a quality product, and meets the needs of the majority of consumers. Yes, OLED is slightly superior, however, the difference in image quality is not commensurate with the huge increase in price. HDR is awesome, and with the ever-increasing 4K and HDR content, the experience will only get better. If you are looking for a 4K tv that will still be impressive in the next few years to come, this is it.

The box sixe was online and made it easy to be positive it would fit in car without out opening box. After getting it home set up was very easy. Everything worked like a charm programing was fast easy. The legs are a nice add on and make the set look more futuristic. the internet hooked up fast and easy. on the Wi-Fi with no lag the picture quality is out of this world. I did go out and buy a new Blu-ray player to get some of the benefits of this set. Sound is also great right out of the box. Of course with some tweaking it did improve I did not think it could be improved.

I shopped around for some time and read a bunch of reviews before I decided on this TV. The design is slim and solid. With HD content, the picture is absolutely stunning! Movies and sports look great. I haven't used it for video games so I can't comment on that. I was surprised how good the sound was on this TV. I mean, it doesn't compare to a good sound bar or home theater audio system but it's very good and has multiple sound settings to choose from. Out of the box you do need to change some of the picture settings to get the optimal picture. I did notice some slight judder on a few cable TV shows but not with movies or sports. The reviews on this TV show that it is judder free so I think I may just need to find the right calibration settings. I think of the LED 4K TVs out there at this time, this is one of the best. To get any better you'll have to spend the money for an OLED set. I am very happy with this TV so far.

First, I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to write and post reviews. I heavily weigh my decision to buy expensive consumer electronics on others' reviews, hence its now my turn to post my review. In a nutshell, I love this TV. The picture is superb. I've been shopping for a new TV for about 2 months. I visited many of the Best Buy locations in my area asking questions to get as much insight/information as possible. (Thank you Best Buy for having such knowledgeable yet patient employees). I went back and forth for weeks on which particular TV I wanted. At first I thought I'd get a black Friday special, but ultimately needed something a bit "more" knowing how long I keep my TV's. As much as I'd love an OLED, I couldn't fathom spending that much on a TV, therefore then knew I wanted a Samsung as it was certainly the next best option. The TV this was replacing is an 8 year old, LG 42" LCD that was and is still an excellent TV (it will be going in another room, just no longer my primary TV). And I wanted bigger. I went back and forth, KS6300 or KS8000. After reading multiple reviews on various websites I settled on the KS8000. And I'm very glad I did. I waited for the Black Friday prices to get it as least expensive as possible. Its an excellent TV. A few disclaimers: Make sure you read the unboxing/initial set up instructions. The screen on this TV is VERY sensitive to fingerprint marks. Only use the supplied cloth to wipe it off. Also, after a week of using the TV, I noticed the source/imput menu was not showing. After some Samsung community thread research online, I was able to get around this with a software update followed by a factory reset (Samsung support directions). All in all, this is an excellent TV and I'm hoping for many years of enjoyment and usage.

Compared to Vizio M and LG UH, this has an excellent picture. Wouldn't pay the $1900+ for it that it originally was priced at, but at $1500 it is a great deal.

Have not purchased a TV in about 15 years. Wanted to get an updated TV for the future, and this has it all, including a great picture and very easy to use.

Picture is awesome set up was very easy and my Samsung sound bar sounds so much better with this smart TV. Just set it up last night but so far no problems.

We love the tv and picture quality. The smart connection is a nice feature, but it does have 1 big draw back - there is a proprietary Samsung cable/box to hook up all the components. This made our wall mount installation a little trickier, but we still love the TV.

I purchased this tv about a month ago and I am very happy with it. The picture quality is great and the program for the guides and apps are easy to use.

Excellent picture, good volume, easy to browse the web, and streams programs as well as broadcast TV. Friends enjoy the spectacular picture quality.

This is a beautiful TV at an affordable price. Great picture quality and low input lag makes it good for everything from movies to video games.
