I was torn between the Samsung and Sony 850 series for a new basement tv. After extended discussion with Best Buy staff I went with the Samsung picture recommendation. I haven't been disappointed and you shouldn't be either.

This TV will adjust itself seamlessly in a wide range of light and dark. You need not adjust it every time the sun goes up or down. Excellent color, brightness, and contrast. For the money it is about as good as you can get.

Read the reviews on the 8 series TV and compared them to similar brands in LG and Sony. I thought the value, picture quality and software on the TV to be superior after seeing them in person. The TV looks great and modern.

Absolutely love this tv. Has great options and is user friendly. The picture quality is phenomenal. The speakers are nothing to write home about. But get a sound bar and it's an awesome entertainment experience with the 2.

The best buy salesman said to me this was the best TV for the price, he couldn't have been more right, my xbox one s looks amazing on it as well as movies and cable TV, it upscales great from 1080p, I couldn't be happier .

The picture is a HUGE step up from my 1080p set. The video settings are what you would expect to see in a set such as this. The smart apps are OK so think of what ad on you want to plug into the one of the HDMI jacks. Surprisingly the sound of the TV on it's own is very nice. However if you spent this kind of money hook it up to your surround sound.

It was very easy to set up and connect. It is very complex so it takes a while to discover all the features which I am still learning about. I have been able to switch functions from other remotes over to the TV remote.

After much sleuthing and questions posed. I settled on this tv for 3 reasons. 1. Smart Hub. Samsung has done lots if refining and tweaking to the software. It is intuitive, clever and evendors sometimes works. 2. Latency. Out if all the tvs on the market, this is the only one that would publish latency numbers on the hdmi inputs and they were low comparative to bench tests I've seen on competitors sets 3. History of quality. Samsung has usually put out quality large format visual items. Phones, washing machines, fridges, etc... while never listed as items that should go boom, tvs have never been in this catagory. So, I'm pretty sure I'm safe. Lol... just kidding. They make and have made many quality products and I'm sure they will continue to.

Great TV with a beautiful picture. Sound is not the best, would recommend a sound bar or other external sound source. The SmartTV apps are slow, but interface is very easy to use. Overall exactly what I was looking for.

Excited to have a large screen tv. I have had great experiences with the slim Led Tv's from Samsung. No exception here, great clarity and fun to watch sports on. Could not be easier to set up and get started watching

Good quality easy to setup with both Internet and game stations. Apps are very convenient.the remote took a bit of practice but very happy with the overall product. Only complaint is that it logs you out of apps every so often and connection can be weird. Internet will work on all devices but say it iseems not connected to the TV (hard wired in).

This TV has a very good picture, sharp, and colors look fairly accurate after adjustment. At the time of purchase OLED was very expensive, but if you can afford it, go for that instead. The HDR is not as good as some other TVs out there and there is a small amount of back light bleed if I'm trying to nitpick. Overall satisfied though!

Amazing picture quality and descent sound. I purchased this tv as a replacement for my seven year old Samsung tv and I have not been disappointed! I am a console gamer and the game mode on this tv is excellent.

I searched long and hard for a new TV Samsung was always on top of the list I am glad I didn't hold back and went with the best! The colors are crisp and the image is tight this is my first Samsung and so happy to see it perform in my home as expected, mounted above fire place and no issues at all can see great from all angles! Highly recommend.

Purchased a series 8 50" 4K 3D tv last year and am totally blown away with this series8 4k SUHD TV, the colors and picture are just mind blowing, I recommend this TV to anyone wanting a top of the line 4k TV!

Great picture and the applications are so easy to access

Nice picture. Glad I went to 60 inch, 65 would have been too big for me. One problem, on certain shows, I get under natural movement. Seems to be ok, but then walking pace pics up to catch up to the scene. Rather annoying. Does not have the problem on my old tv. Bestbuy says it is normal, but I wonder., if other mfg have the same problem.

Love the TV. Samsung has always been the brand to buy. This TV has everything the top of the line model has except its $100's cheaper. Stop researching and wasting time and just get the Samsung UN60KS8000FXZA
