Fantastic tv, best I've ever owned. Try to catch this on sale as I picked this up the week before Christmas tor 1199. Worth every penny, picture with ps4pro and Xbox one S is amazing!!!

I have faith in Samsung products. Picture is terrific. Angle viewing is marginal at best. Setup was easy and navigating is simple. Blacks are almost too black, if that makes any sense.

This TV is easily the most incredible TV I have ever purchased! The picture is truly amazing. No matter the content or speed of the action you're watching, it's crystal clear and no lag. I was worried that the smart remote would be too complex to use but it's simplified design and voice recognition makes the experience even better. It's so simple even my wife enjoys it! Samsung did a fantastic job with the 8000 series!

This TV had been on my radar for several months before the November price drop finally pushed me over the edge. Priced out of the LG OLED TVs, I knew I wanted something that would offer UHD resolution, HDR support, and do well in a living room that gets quite bright during the day. This model ticked all of the boxes. If you want a TV that can handle just about everything and gets bright enough to handle just about any living room, this is the TV for you. Now for the negatives: One of the biggest negative of the TV is its edge-lit LED backlight. The bottom edge of the screen is noticeably brighter than the rest on my model, and even with some form of local dimming, I get highly noticeable light spill into black bars on 1.85:1 and 2.35:1 content when the edge of the frame is bright. Seeing as movie watching makes up a majority of my viewing habits, this has been the biggest disappointment for me. I like my bars to be as close to pure black as possible. A TV with a full array rear LED setup with local dimming would obviously handle this better. Buyers should also be aware that, like many TV models out there, the KS800 uses VA screen technology. While this helps to produce an excellent native contrast ratio when viewing straight on, it also causes extreme color/contrast shifts when viewed at an angle. This is my first TV with a VA screen (coming from a Panasonic plasma), and I knew what I was getting into when I purchased it, but it would be nice to be able to sit in my favorite chair (which is off-center from the TV), and not have a washed out looking image. If you need a TV with a wide viewing angle, I'd suggest getting one with an IPS screen. Verdict: Great all-around TV at a great prices that supports the latest high-resolution and HDR content. Gets super bright (way brighter than I'll ever it set it to!) so if you have a bright living room, this could be the TV for you. If you mainly watch movies in the dark or have a wide room with seating off-centered from the TV, you may want to look elsewhere.

As a TV exec and director, with deep roots in broadcast engineering, I have to say this is one of the best pictures I've seen to date, short of a $10,000 color critical 4k monitor. As a longtime fan of Samsung I happen to own several of their latest and greatest products, and this one doesn't disappoint. Not only is the picture quality extremely good (it gives the OLED by LG a run for its money), the contrast ratio is amazing and it is viewable from a very wide angle in all lighting conditions. Prior to buying this set, I also looked at last year's model which was not inclusive of the quantum dot display technology. The difference is subtle yet noticeable. Side by side, the latest model was well worth the extra dollars spent for me. The audio is pretty good, but leaves a little bit to be desired- you may want to consider buying a soundbar or better yet having a home theater audio system. Samsung's good about doing product updates via software downloads and adds new features on a fairly regular basis. I found Netflix to be a great source of 4K native content, but you'll need a fast internet connection. And best of all - you could take it on a plane with you and it won't burst into flames!!

New remote works well and the picture is amazingly crisp. Have to take the motion blur off though for good football watching...

I have a Samsung UN60KS8000FXZA I got from BestBuy and i am trying to understand HDR and HDR+. I though the purpose of buying this expensive tv are HDR and HDR +. It will make your image brighter and POP effect of WOW amazing colors. Now this WOW effect does happen on Youtube HD or 4k and non HDR content on Netflix 1080p or any other app like Amazon video or HBO Go, but once HDR is enable like in Marco Polo HDR image turns dim. I though i will be brighter once HDR is enable. I am using Dynamic mode. Yes I can enable HDR + on pictures setting, but turns images even dimmer. Previous i had a LG 60UH7700 and it had option once you watch HDR content. You can change to HDR standart, HDR movie and HDR Vivid and it will look much better but i had to return this tv because on dark room it is just awful to watch. Oh yes, just in case somebody says i have a bad internet connection, I have 250MB down and 25mb UP from Time Warner Cable, so that is not it. Did i got a bad Samsung UN60KS8000FXZA or i am missing some setting. I follow this links and it clearly said HDR is brighter. ON the Samsung links it says and shows it makes it brighter. This is the 4th Samsung TV I have purchased, and it isn't because the 1st original one broke, or stopped working, BUT because I recommend to EVERYONE! I got this 60" for my parent's as an early Christmas present for their bedroom. They love the picture and the sleekness of the tv itself. Over all winner if you are looking for a new television, and the 8000 series is the perfect choice!

We had our previous Samsung LED television for about 6 years. It was a 37". While it still works flawlessly, we wanted a larger screen. After reading reviews, we chose this one. Set up was very easy. I turned it on and tuned into a movie. All actors were so lifelike. The color is phenomenal and we are extremely satisfied with the purchase. Samsung did it again.

We've had this TV for a little over a month now and still love it today as much as we did the day we brought it home. Setup was a breeze. Picture is amazing. Really enjoy the additional compatibility between the TV and my Samsung GS7 Edge.

The TV is easy to operate, with controls and adjustments that are intuitive. This Samsung not only shows 4k programming in all of its brilliance, but it also upscales regular HD programming to make it look brighter and clearer. The 240 refresh rate makes fast-moving sports programming look great too. I love this tv. I couldn't be happier about this purchase!

This TV has amazing picture quality! It is a very crisp and clear picture. Also love the smart features that are in this TV as well. We are extremely happy with this purchase. Love the fact that is 4K UHD and also curved. We purchased the curved soundbar as well and it complements the tv very well. We just wish that this TV came in a larger screen size.

This is a larger and more expensive TV than I had planned to buy, but I am very glad I bought it. The picture is bright, clear and sharp and the design is simple and elegant. We really enjoy it now that it's on the wall, though we had some difficulty navigating the instructions for mounting it. I would definitely buy it again given what I know about it now.

The picture quality and sound on this TV is wonderful. We are enjoying all aspects of this smart TV. which is very user friendly and easy to operate. We have always enjoyed Samsung products, but the company has really improved the quality and viewing aspects of this TV immensely. You won't be disappointed with the purchase of this 4K Ultra HD TV.

Samsung continues to amaze me when it comes to TV's. This SUHD TV is awesome! The ease of set up was incredible. I specially like the voice search feature on the remote which allows me to change channels just with my voice command. The image display is incredible and the color scheme is breath taking. I would definitely recommend this TV for the price.

Absolutely love the picture quality. Makes watching movies fun again. Set up was easy. The TV automatically synched with my Xfinity Remote. Set up required connecting all devices first. This enabled the TV to find each device, such as the cable box and Xbox One S. Navigating to each device or Netflix is effortless. Couldn't be happier.

Even though I'm not totally up-to-date on my tvs. I am aware that this was by far my best TV purchase yet. And would gladly buy another if I could. The quality is most definitely on point. And don't even let me begin to explain set...total breeze. I'm in awe at so little that it takes to set up these new tvs. Love it, all around love it.

As a person that reads reviews prior to most purchases I do not like to give feedback on a product saying "I just got it home and it works great". Well, I would hope so, but what about 6, 12, or 24 months later? We have been using this unit for about 12 months, never had a problem the product and it matches all the specs as described. Having both a Samsung and LG prior to the purchase I reviewed both manufacturers, plus others, and am happy I choose this Samsung model.

The picture quality is excellent The variety of viewing options allow you to have the ultimate viewing experiences regardless of what type of program you are watching, i.e. movies, sports, music programs, etc. Also, the Smart TV capabilities provide endless possibilities for this TV. I'm extremely pleased with this product.
