Not much to add to the other reviews, but One of the reasons I did not get a large TV sooner was not wanting to deal with programming and using the remote luckily it was very intuitive almost Apple like, so this was a big plus for me... the picture is much better than I'm used to, so overall very happy (at the sale price)

I really enjoy this television set. Looks amazing hooked up to my PS4 Pro. Streaming 4K video from the Pro to the set looks great. The only issue I have is one that everyone else has as well; the light bleed at the bottom of the set. I have found that I have gotten used to it, but the light bleed at the bottom definitely made me upset at first. Once I really set the settings right though, I don't get as annoyed anymore. The HDR really makes everything pop and I feel it's worth the money.

We were wanted to upgrade our TV in our living room to 4K, 65" was just to big, happy to find Samsung offered a 60" . it was easy to set up and the picture quality is fantastic ! Were very pleased with Samsung,a side from some of there other products, We also have their sets in our LR and BR. Would highly recommend !

The picture quality and size of tv is worth every dollar spent. I would recommend this tv to anyone looking for an outstanding picture quality with easy set up out of the box. You will not go wrong spending a little extra to get this tv with 240 refresh you can watch sports and play games without the delay in picture.

Bought the open box on this one to save a few hundred dollars. I am very pleased with the condition and the performance. Great color, EASY install (by self) and setup. Had a very small issue during setup, called the Geek Squad, and they walked me through in just a jiffy! Great item, great Business, great support!

First off, is this the best TV on the market, No. Is it the best TV for the price, absolutely. My family and I have enjoyed the picture quality on this TV and I love how it has made my games look on my Xbox One S. The viewing angle is not good at all but I watch from straight on so it isn't something I can't deal with. I did have some dead pixels on my first one but Best Buy made it super easy to exchange for a new one. Overall this is an unbeatable TV for the price and picture quality.

This TV replaced a former Plasma 50" Samsung and first of all, I'm very happy it's so much lighter to move around. It has been a great TV and wow, the resolution is great with BluRay with it's upscaling ability - even most TV shows look better on this TV. Smart TV function is easy to use too. Would recommend.

Did my reviews on the size TVs that I like. which were LG Samsung and Sony was looking at sizes 55" to 65 ". Was watching the price from the 1st of December until Christmas. Had budget price range to $1200 or less. I kept waiting each week but it seemed like some of them went up in price. I decided to go in the Best Buy Christmas Eve morning. Found a box in the refund or open box item Department. Actually the Box didn't even look open. After making a deal with one of the associate manager .He gave me a deal I couldn't pass up. A $2,000 TV for $850 . Plus gave me a wall mount Full Tilt for over half off. Best Christmas present I ever ever bought. After bringing the Box home and opening it up I could tell this TV wasn't even set up at all. Glad I bought the Samsung, instead of an LG or Sony. Next purchase will be a new stereo receiver that has HDMI ports. For my receiver which is a 7.1 doesn't have these ports. Next purchase is for a 4K receiver and a 4K upscaling Blu-ray. Thank you Best Buy associate that gave me a very nice Christmas deal.

An overall excellent 4k panel with rich colors and blacks that really ties my home theater together. PROs: - Vivid colors and deep blacks. - Nice GUI and remote control everything from my Yamaha receiver to my DirecTV box without issue. - Thin profile and bezel make this unit disappear on my wall. - Got it during 50 yr sale for a great price (1499) CONS: - No physical manual to describe all the features - In depth professional level adjustments may initimidate some users. We love this TV. I do recommend checking out Rtings or Cnet websites for calibrations settings as a starting point.

I was in the market for a new TV when my old Visio started to go out after just 4ish years of ownership. I read as many reviews as I could find (consumer reports, rtings, cnet, that random person on a blog, etc.) and they all indicated the Samsung 8000 series hit the sweet spot for price and quality. Thankfully, it was close to Black Friday and most the tvs were on major discount so it was perfect timing to buy too. The screen is gorgeous and bright. I barely have any issues with reflections and even upscale content looks sharp and vibrant. However, colors can look a bit saturated if the tv is viewed from an angle. Not a big deal, but might be an issue for people with large living rooms where all seating isn't directly in front of the tv. The screen is very responsive for video games too. I've noticed little to no lag, although I am by no means a competitive gamer. Highly recommend this tv if you can get it on sale. I had to return the first one I bought. The bevel had come unglued along one side so there was a tremendous amount of light bleed and you could flat out see a bright white light coming from the tv edge, even in a bright room. I returned to Best Buy for an exchange and had them pull a new one out of the box to inspect for similar damage, just in case. There were no issues so the second lives happily above my fireplace admired by all. However, as it seemed to be a one off quality issue (or shipping damage) I didn't knock a star for that. The star off is due to the remote. Samsung tried to be clever and provide a minimalistic remote, which looks cool, but I find myself constantly having to hit multiple buttons just to do simple things a typical remote would use one button for. Also, it isn't consistently recognized by the tv so I'm not sure what's going on there. But it's a minor inconvenience for such an amazing screen.

Bought the Samsung 8000 series 60" LED tv yesterday and it a real beauty. Easy peasy setup right out of the box. The clarity and definition of the picture is mind boggling to say the least and I love the remote too. I highly recommend this tv.

The picture quality is stunning. It was super easy to set up and the aps are so easy to access my Dad has Even master this TV. Note: if you don't fully enjoy watching endless YouTube videos of your nephews and nieces I suggest not showing your parents how to fully use the smart part of this TV.

I was researching TV's for a Girlfriend and informed her after reading many reviews on different TV brands, this was an excellent choice. She ordered the 55". I then decided to order one myself and got 60", Price point was good! Love everything about this product! I have other Samsung products as well!

I spent many weeks researching TVs and given our price range and what we were looking for this was the best value and quality TV on the market when we bought it hands down. The picture quality is fantastic. I've been blown away by 4k content and this TV really shows it well. I know that the back lighting may not be as good as the next model up but I've not noticed any detriment. The sound is fine although I could see where a sound bar might benefit us in time. The smart TV features are easy to use and the remote is simple but intuitive. It has a voice command feature but I've not found it useful and it can sometimes struggle to interpret what you say. That being said by simply saying a TV show or movie it can often times track it down and show you all available means of downloading or renting it. It's a pretty nifty feature. I've not had any regrets purchasing the Samsung 60 Inch. It really looks fantastic and stands out even when it's turned off. I highly recommend it for anyone that is interested in the mid level Samsung.

I purchased this tv after visiting my niece and watching this amazing picture. It's a great tv and it's easy to use. The Geek Squad installed a mount and then set up the tv. They were very nice and knowledgable and did a great job. I would definitely recommend spending the extra money for this tv.

Great TV; picture quality is clear and bright; HDR feeds produce amazing contrast range and color. Would have given 5 stars except for difficulty with connecting other Samsung devices (wifi speakers/soundbar,etc) and price volatility (had to go back to Best Buy 3 times! within 40 days for price match adjustments). Thank goodness I'm an elite plus member and had an extended price match period. Note the price volatility issue is caused by Samsung, not Best Buy.

The picture quality of the UN60KS8000 series is very good when tuned to satellite broadcast stations and when viewing regular DVDs, and is very good to exceptional when viewing 4K streaming programs, based on very fine resolution, color accuracy, high brightness, and wide dynamic range (in my visual opinion, I have not needed to have anyone scan and adjust the settings). The remote design is a little disappointing, I would prefer solid push buttons instead of the light touch keys, but it is manageable. The remote allows voice commands, but I have not programmed them yet to see if it works well. The built-in speakers were adequate although for better frequency response and dynamic range I have taken the optical audio output through a Grace Digital BTAR513N amplifier and a pair of Boston Acoustic speakers for normal viewing, and can switch the output to a Sony receiver and multiple speakers for home theater. I have not noticed any significant sound lagging with respect to the picture.

The picture is great. And the sound is good. We bought the sound bar, now we have more control.

We bought this a little over a month ago to "fill up" the space in our entertainment center. There was nothing wrong with our old TV and we are currently using it in another room. Picture is so real it looks like the people are actually in the room with you. Easy set up. Great TV Great Value
