Best tv I have ever owned and trust me I have owned a lot. This tv has everything, the apps move very quickly. The quality is amazing, just amazing. Everyone always compliments me on this tv. I used to read reviews before buying this tv. My mistake I shoudve been buying the tv instead of reading. Best quality and color and 3D and smart and everything else I've ever seen in any other tv. Had it for about a month, yeah it's a bit pricey but you will not remember or care about the price in about 1,2,3,4,5 years or more. All I have to say is this tv is everything amazing put into one super slim design. Don't hesitate this is a must buy Samsung product :)

Got this tv on Jan 28th 2016. This two biggest selling points for me were the flat screen (non curved) and HDR compatibility. The pq is excellent and the HDR is outstanding when viewed. I have watched Mozart In The Jungle on Amazon which has the first season in HDR and it was outstanding. The brightness of the pq and detail was unreal. It'll make you wish every program looked like that.
It's got Netflix and Youtube and Amazon with 4k programming on the tv apps. They load fast and don't feel too sluggish. Each of the 4 HDMI outputs has HDMI 2.0a spec so you can enjoy HDR and 4k content on each port if necessary as well as HDCP 2.2 which is needed to access 4k content like a Ultra HD Blu-ray player or Sony Media player. Most of the ports are on the one connect mini, which is a separate box from the tv that uses a one connect cable to go from the box to the TV. It houses 4 HDMI ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports and 1 optical out port.
The sound isn't the greatest. It works best when paired with a sound system or sound bar. The Tinzen OS on this quad core processor is adequate. Not as fully featured as the curved models with a octo core processor or full One Connect Box, The app selection is good and even has Playstation now. That bad part is the mini doesn't house the brains of the tv so you can't buy an 2016 or 2017 One Connect box and have no features. Most likely the only scenario we would get a new One Connect Mini is if there is an HDMI spec update.
The Remote is very small and has too few buttons for my liking. It is partially backlit so that is nice. The menu's are easy to navigate and have all the necessary menu options to tweak your televisions picture. I am not a huge gamer but most recommend turning on game mode when playing. I don't and have no issues whatsoever. Best gaming is always on a monitor anyways.
To sum it up. Great price for what I paid ($1999.99). HDR compatibility for UHD programming and movies insures that you'll get better pq than those 4k tv's without HDR. The pq is excellent and does a great job at upscaling to near 4k. Plenty of ports for those with lots of gear. Decent sound and it's only has a one connect mini and not full one connect. If you want 4k with HDR on a budget and don't want to spend $5K-6K on a full Aray 4k tv with HDR, this is the one to beat.

Bought this in-store at Best Buy in Feb., at a great $1899 price special. Set-up was really easy, and the picture was excellent right out of the box. In fact, we tried to improve the picture using the settings recommended in the Rtings review (great site, by the way), but ended up going back to the out-of-the-box settings which we liked even better. Didn't expect to use the 3-D much, but we were surprised to discover that a lot of shows (especially live sports) are actually shown in 3-D. Hockey, soccer, golf, and basketball are AWESOME in 3-D (just wish they had included 2 sets of glasses instead of just one). We don't use the TV for online stuff too often, so we don't need the Samsung remote much (mostly use the DirecTV remote), but when we do, it's easy to use and very responsive. Thanks, Samsung, for a great product!

I Just purchased this TV last week and fell in love with it Immediately. Functionality is quite easy, Great Picture Quality, Very Dark Black and Very Bright Whites. An amazing unbelievable Price if purchased while on (SALE) for $1,999.99. Just a wonderful viewing pleasure from any seat in the man Cave.
P.S. You will need to purchase a high-end HDMI (In Like Kind) cable such as Audioquest HDMI Vodka to get the BEST true picture quality from this UHD TV.

Tv was great for a few months, then the screen began to degrade: bright spots near edges. Samsung came out and replaced the screen. Kudos. Great customer service. 13 mos. later, that screen began to degrade. This time no replacement. Outside warranty. $2300 tv lasts one year. Love Samsung, but this product is wanting.

Best TV by far

I have owned 3 samsung TVs and this is by far the best tv I have owned. The last TV was a 5500 series and is awesome. Didn't think it could get that much better but this tv showed me otherwise. My 9 and 6 year old can use all the functions. New remote is easy to use and the picture is amazing. A little pricey but worth it.

Love the Tv, but not without its faults

I love the tv. I wall mounted it, and purchased a Samsung soundbar to match it up, and love the sound and out of box picture quality. I still have yet to calibrate it, but will soon. I have had some issues with random shutoffs though, while watching netflix, and last night when watching Uverse on demand. I have seen others complain of the same issue online. Also, my ethernet port will not work. My wireless was very picky as well, as I changed providers the day after I first hooked up the TV. It connected with first provider with no issues. When other provider, all other devices in house connected but not the tv. Turns out, needed to unplug the tv for 60 seconds for it to clear its cache of the network settings, I guess. None the less, wired ethernet never will work. Have yet to call support, perhaps this weekend. Both issues appear software related, not what I expect for the price of this TV.

I am a rather Tech savvy buyer and take my time and research thoroughly before making a purchase. I am more than pleased with this TV, especially since I caught it on sale just before the holidays. Not sure how much better These TVs can get.

Picture quality is amazing, even when viewing standard and high definition content. Picture when viewing UHD content (although currently limited) is breathtaking. TV is so versatile and easy to use with just 5 minutes of initial coaching from Geeksquad. High quality we have grown to expect from Samsung. Still a little pricey but do not compromise, this TV will still look amazing in 10 years.

Very nice features for the sale price

I first saw this TV on sale before Black Friday. I had not been in the market for TV's but I felt less then 2000 for a 65inch 4k TV with 3D was a good price point. I did some research and missed the original deal since the local store said they did not have one in stock when I called (even though I later found out they did). So I waited until the TV was on sale again and bought it. I would say that the sale price of 1,999 is the most I would pay for this. If I wanted to spend more, I would definately buy an OLED as they have the most stunning picture I have ever seen. They of course cost about 4999 so for 1999 this is a good deal. I read many reviews and did research. The higher end models of this TV offer nicer specs but cost about 2000 more and I could not justify the extra cost for a slightly nicer TV. Like I mentioned, I would buy an OLED if I was going to spend more.
I bought this TV to upgrade from my older (flagship at the time) Samsung 55 inch LED that I bought about 6 years ago. I wanted to upsize, get 4k, 3D, built in smart apps and hope to have a nicer picture. I will say first that 4k has very little content out there. I upgraded my Netflix membership to see what they have. Currently there are just a few shows. Amazon prime offers a few as well. There is no light at the end of the tunnel as to when cable companies will start offering 4k. So don't be fooled to believe you will have many options for 4k programming. Your TV is capable of "upscaling" your content. While this may be true, older and lower quality content doesn't look anything like the 4k demos you see in the store. It may be slightly better then your 1080p. Some newer movies look better and any CGI content always looks good. Upsizing your TV will reveal the flaws in the lower quality resolution. So you may be a little disappointed.
I have really been enjoying watching some of my favorite movies in 3D. This has been the best part so far. I can't say this TV is head and shoulders better than my 55 inch Samsung from a few years back. I am hopeful as more 4k content becomes available, I will get more benefits from this TV. The Netflix 4k content looks great, but doesn't look as nice as the demos you see in store when you are checking out the picture quality on 4k TVs.
Overall I am happy with my purchase. I have to say I am little disappointed that my new TV isn't light years better looking than my last TV. The current sale price is reasonable for this TV with the features it has so I don't believe you can go wrong. I have seen some minor pixelated flaws in watching TV via cable. Not sure if this is the TV's fault or the signal from cable.

It’s unacceptable to purchase a high end TV and one month after the warranty ends, the picture erodes. The screen is deteriorating with pixel damages and lines. Been buying Samsung for years and now going to consider other options.

This is just an amazing TV. The picture quality is perfect. Regular TV looks like it's in 3D. My wife who never wants to buy any new tech items is blown away by this TV. The hub is a nice feature. Price is a little high, but when you bring it home it's worth it!

Love this TV. Great Motion support, very detailed picture and colors. I'm amazed at the detail of some of the video it can upscaled like XBOX One, DVD and Netflix! Some glare on the screen in dark scenes but I turn down the lights to minimize it. I used some settings from another site I found and it looks great.

This TV was good for first 2 years. and then I started seeing side flashing LED light. And I tried everything but that light won't go away. Spend more then $2000 on this TV. I was not expecting this issue for money we spend on it.
