The two remote controls take getting use too, Geek Squad set everything up from the cables, 3-D blu-ray player even the new surge protector. They told me that I won't be able to use my stereo as a sound system. I don't remember them telling me that in store. So I had to buy a Surround sound system. So now it is like going to movies at home.

Have had this TV for about 1 1/2 months now. Can't say anything bad about it. Setup was pretty simple even without a great deal of documentation. One thing different than previous TVs I have owned, this TV had to be connected through the Samsung One Connect box rather than directly to my Denon AVR. It is not a problem but it is one more box to be accommodated on the TV stand. I don't use the One Connect box for my other connections (like BluRay player) because I don't use the TV audio, I use my AVR.
Lots of questions/permissions need to be taken care of during the setup. Most of them I did not accept but it does not affect TV viewing. You can use the menus to go back and redo all of the setup questions later if you want do not want to answer them right away. Unless you are a totally connected, ready to share all your viewing habits person, I think you will find you don't need to give all the permissions they ask for to watch TV and use things like Netflix.
If this is your first UHD TV - it is my first - you might be totally surprised by the picture. It is so sharp and contrasts are so stark that the picture almost looks like animation. Be prepared to immediately go through the menus to find the adjustments for the video. I brought the brightness down from the factory 100% to about 60 and also made large adjustments to the contrast levels. This is obviously a personal viewing adjustment so my numbers don't really mean that much but I do think that once you make some of these adjustments you will be extremely happy with your picture. Play with all the parameters till it suits your eye.
I take the HDMI output of my DirecTV box run it into my Denon, then to the Samsung One Connect box, and finally to the TV. I have always run the output this way so I can use the AVR audio with surround sound. I have noticed that some shows have a noticeable delay in audio so that the video is out of sync with the audio. Don't know if this is a One Connect issue or not. It doesn't happen a lot but I never noticed it with any previous TV.
Overall? This is a great TV. I would definitely buy it again if I was just now looking for a new TV. Easy to setup, easy to use, a great picture. Can't ask for anything more than that.

The picture and sound quality is awesome, I don't think any other TV in the market can beat that.
The only bad thing I can say abut this TV is the remote controller. I was expecting a complete remote with even full keyboard on it. But it comes with a tiny remote which sometime makes it hard to work with.

My Samsung Curve is remarkable in sound, picture quality! When watching a 4K or 3D movie the picture quality, depth, color is outstanding! I have seen tons of other television quality and this is better than anything I have ever seen! The sound is remarkable on the television alone without even using the soundbar.

Very happy with this purchase. Went to BB with the intent to purchase the JS8500 and walked out wth the 9000. I had no intention of buying a curved screen but I really liked the darker bezel over the silver on the 8500, plus I was sold on the better processor and full size connect box. I haven't noticed any color distortion sitting off center but the way my furniture is positioned I'm only off center by around 20 degrees. I did read another reviewer here who said his stand is not level and I have to agree. My TV does not sit level mounted on the stand. It leans slightly backwards and lower on the right side. Not sure if we got a faulty base but haven't pursued it with Samsung. I did raise the back of my tv stand about a 1/4 inch to make the screen not lean backwards. Also received the Samsung 550 sound bar included with the purchase and it works great. Pretty good base for a 400.00 sound bar. It's all our family needed in a sound bar. Overall, I would definitely buy thisTV again.

First night I turned it on after unpacking it and setting it up I was not impressed with the picture, I wondered to myself why did I replace my 6 year old Samsung 52" LCD tv which worked just fine. Second night that I had it on the picture looked much better its like it needed to be burned in dont know if that is true or not. Watched some youtube 4k content and started a trial on netflix for a month not much on there 4k wise proably will cancel after trial period. Watched some 3d blue ray movies the picture is amasing, have a Samsung 4k uhd blueray on order cant wait to see the picture quality. All my flatpanel tvs have been Samsungs and never let me down, hope this one gives me years of service.

I hadn't reviewed or bought a TV in several years...needless to say the choices and price ranges are overwhelming. Samsung, LG and Sony however are always at the top of my list. Let's face it, most TVs of these brands are outstanding, but what separates the Truly GREAT TV from the rest??? I'm not sure either, but in my case it was a judgment call of value and the biggest bang for the buck. Ultimately it came down to being able to seamlessly integrate a good quality sound bar (Samsung 8.1 channel) with a medium high end viewing experience with 4k picture capability and a 3D Blu Ray player (also Samsung) with 4k up convert capabilities. I am pleased and would pick this set up again. This SMART TV offers picture clarity and ease of use. I don't think you will be disappointed with this class of TV.

I looked at many TVs. Started with LG, it was worst built quality and picture quality was not good. taking advantage of Elite plus, i upgraded to Sony 850. I actually liked it, but its not as bright and crisp as Samsung. Samsung 9000 is the top of the line. I compared it to OLED. I think OLEDs are good but should wait for future OLED improvements. On JS9000 you ll see the colors that other TVs can't reproduce. Brightness is amazing. Only problem is poorly designed remote. I likes sony remote way better.
Overall, I would recommend JS9000.
P.s. I bought it from store in Rochester Hills, MI. The store manager Scott is simply awesome. He was very helpful and accommodating.

the picture quality is sooo amazing. it has taken several weeks to get used to how the picture looks. there are some movies that we used to think were quite impressive but now you can tell how fake it is. if i could find any faults in this purchase so far it would be that there are almost too many setting to get the best picture. i did have to play with it a bit to get my optimal settings. my best buy salesman was amazing. i had been looking for a 4k tv for about 18months. i went down to the store talked with the sales associate and he clearified all questions and then made sure i walked out with not just the best tv. but also the best deal around.

Wow! I love this television. I was hesitant to purchase a Samsung Curve. I wasn't certain if this was a passing fad or a growing concern. The picture quality of the curved televisions does degrade as you move off-center. However, it depends on the size of the room and viewing area. In my case it's fine. Overall, the picture quality is unsurpassed and the available functions (Smart Hub, etc) are good

The TV is amazing. I can't say that the curve really makes any difference. I had a 55" Samsung that was 5 yrs old. I notice a better picture with the upscaling. The little bit of UHD programming is unreal. I use all of the network features and they work well. The remote took a little time to adjust to but having so few buttons is very nice. I am very pleased with this TV.

Great TV I like everything about it. Now the 3D glasses that's a different story they only give you one pair and the battery lasts 2 movies and the give you 2 battery's so 4 movies and you have to buy batteries do I went and bought the rechargeable ones, but they are expensive. This expensive of a TV should come with 4 pair of rechargeable ones!!!

We love this TV! The viewing angle is wide thanks to the curve, and the picture is incredibly sharp. The smart TV features are easy to navigate once you get all of your passwords entered for each site you want to use. We're very pleased with this purchase.

The 4k display is amazing and color is great after you figure out what settings work best for you. The auto dim based on room brightness is very nice but some might not like it. You can disable the feature however.
The advanced features are very nice as well and there is much to play with helping to reduce the additional devices you may need connected to your TV to stream Internet content.
Works great with my Smart Harmony remote setting up by detecting the TV over WiFi and updating my activities.

Admittedly I moved from a 740p display to this one, but this one is truly amazing. The curved screen improves viewability from any angle, and the images even when not playing 3D show great depth of field. Crisp with clear motion image display so that watching sports and action/adventure movies is like being at the theater.
