The size is awesome picture is incredible. Even with out 4K or Blu Ray playing regular cable still looks amazing. I have a 55 in Samsung ultra thin smart TV and I thought that pic was amazing until I got this wow. My first ever review because before I bought my TV all these reviews helped me so much.

The picture quality is incredible, lots of features, best purchase my wife and I could have made. The only issue which is a small one is the remote. Very small and the pointer issue is frustrating. Other than that, couldn't beat the price.

This was a hard choice to make. I Love Samsung TV Name Brand. The Curve to me is Unique in design to me. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the room when watching this Curved model. Unless your not in the room. The Colors are Briliant, and the sound coming from the TV speakers was amazing. The Mouse control remote was even Curved. I'm no smart TV wizard with all the apps and stuff. That's not why I bought this TV. I'm in to Color, Refresh rate, Resolution and Sound. And This TV Delivers it right out the Box. 4K, 3D, 240hz, up scaling capability. AWESOME! It did not disappoint me one bit. And when Best Buy dropped the price down from 2,999.98 to 1,799.98 I jumped all over it! Samsung Curved UHDTV UN65JU7500FXZA

Curve Or Not to Curve?

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The thing about this tv that interested me a lot was the curve. While I'd never buy a tv based on the curve alone, I can say it's something to take notice of. When you add the curve, 4K and the clarity Samsung is known for, what could go wrong? Well, sadly a few things especially considering the price range it falls in.
Don't get me wrong, I love the tv but none of it's selling aspects seem all that important to me. I'll start with the curve. The curve gained a lot of popularity and I noticed technical reviews actually state that viewing angles are far less. The truth is, the viewing angle isn't all that much less if at all. When you watch a flat screen tv do you stand directly beside it? The answer is generally no because flat or curve at that angle it's distorted and unnatural for anyone to watch it. That being said, you can actually watch this tv from all your normal angles. What's interesting to me is that despite all the angles you can watch it from you actually only benefit from the curve when seated in front of it rather than to the side. From the front of the tv it looks completely flat and yet for some odd reason it gave me the feeling of being more natural to watch. Obviously this natural feeling can be linked to the fact that our eyes are not flat and how we pick up our surroundings are different than the detail right in front. When I watched shows and movies I noticed that the curve helps in letting my eyes see more details compared to a large flat screen where my eyes either focus at the center or the main object on the screen. With the curve tv I found my eyes moving around less. Now, there was one area that I noticed a big difference with the curve. If you watch a movie in the dark it'll be considerably more vivid than a flat screen in the dark. To me I suspect this was because the light is angled inward just slightly more which allows more focused light which means a more vivid picture. A flat screen tv kind of just throws light all over the place. However, despite all of those good things I have to admit that I'd never buy the tv for the curve. It's a great bonus but really it's not a necessity because the curve is a lot less than I was given the impression of. If people are worried about there being too much of a curve I can definitely tell you that it's not much of one at all. It's not a bad thing but it's also not as exaggerated and beneficial as Samsung would have you believe.
4K and Samsung, a couple made in heaven? The thing about 4K is that there isn't a lot of content and probably never will be since tv brands are already trying out 8K. I know it sounds a bit grim but that's how it is currently and for the foreseeable future. However this doesn't mean that 4K isn't amazing when you use it with 4K content found on YouTube or Blu-Ray movies. I work with a guy who kept telling me how 4K feels like you can reach out and touch what's on the screen and that got me really excited. Having truly experienced it at my home rather than a glimpse at the store, I can say people are exaggerating 4K a lot. It is amazing, but not the kind of amazing where you feel like you can touch the actual image. I found the detail to be remarkable especially with how Samsung paired it with the picture technology that provides better quality overall. I tested it out and seeing the detail of a snake, or the crispness of each hair on an animal was very impressive. I would probably base my future purchases on 4K-8K because once you see it, it leaves this feeling of wanting more 4K content which is where the sadness kicks in. 4K content takes more to stream and it can leave some stuttering which takes away at the immersive feeling. The stuttering has nothing to do with Samsung, it's just that the USA is still behind in internet speeds (if you doubt me research it). All that being said, Samsung provides a great picture quality and having it in 4K all comes together to make this tv worth the price it costs.
In the end my final thoughts vary. I love the 4K even if it wasn't as great as many keep saying. I like the curve, again even though everyone seems to exaggerate it's benefits (manufacturers mostly). There was one huge downside that I've noticed so far but it's nothing to warrant me returning it. Samsung still hasn't learned how to make a tv without a very laggy interface. When I try to change the input the tv feels like it's not even responding when I first turn it on. Then when the menu pops up it goes away because it's still catching up with the couple of times I hit the button. When I turn on a tv I expect the necessities to work before everything else and that's not the case here. It creates a very annoying experience which I expect to be fixed when you start nearing the $2,000 mark. Sadly, Samsung isn't the only one to have a sluggish interface but theirs is far from being the fastest. I have tried several smart tv brands and Samsung has nothing special in that category. Another thing I disliked is how expensive their sound bars are for these brands of tv. A curved sound bar costs an insane amount but the features don't really feel all that great. Also the remote that comes with the tv can be a plus or negative. There are no channel buttons on the actual remotes, instead you have to click a button on the remote to bring up a digital remote. For me I welcome the smaller remote with the cool curved hand design, but for some people this could be an inconvenience. Overall I love the tv and if I had to put a number on it I'd give it a 7.5/10. It's amazing but that experience falters with it's sluggish user interface.

Curve Is Great But Feels Smaller

Originally purchased the Samsung 65" UHD 7100 Series but kept thinking about the curve so I exchanged it. The curve shows a clearer picture but in my opinion the screen looks smaller. The 7100 Series took up the entire inside of our media center but the Curve has an inch on each side. Some reviewers said this TV seemed larger but to me it seems smaller. I noticed the glare from lights is worse. When the TV is off it looks like a mirror but who cares what the screen looks like until the TV is on and when that happens it is an awesome picture. Some of the blacks have milky white wash but that can probably be remedied with fine tuning. I love how bright christmas lights or campfire appear on screen, I am happy that I purchased the curve. The sound is decent and the picture looks great from any angle.

Perfect Gaming/Movies

Let me just say this tv is sexy!! And the picture is mind blowing!! I bought this tv mainly for gaming and movies. I play ps4 xbox and wii u and they all run smooth and look incredible. Now out of game mode u will notice lag in the games u play. but just simple pop it in game mode and ur rdy to go. It doesn't lessen the picture quality or anything. So playing games on this tv is wonderful!!! Next is movie and all I can say is WOW does it look amazing. The older blurays look better than they normally do, but the newer ones are mind blowing with all the settings set correct. I was nervous at first buying this but I did a ton of research on it and pulled the trigger and I couldn't be happier!!!!
Also things that are just added awesomeness is the fact that this tv allowed me to use only one controller for everything. In the past I needed the tv controller to turn on/off switch inputs and long press the sound to turn/down. Then I need the x1 remote to power the cable/dvr system. Not anymore the smart controller that comes with the tv does all that stuff right away. It takes about a minute to learn how to get to everything but when u do ull be sooooooo happy to put all those other remotes away. Another thing is the internet and side by side picture. So if im watching something or playing a game and i need help or wanna look something up i can pull up a web tab and search while watching at the same time. You can also mirror ur phone so if u wanna watch something off ur phone just hit a button and boom ur watching it on ur tv.
Only tiny issue is the sound has to be turned up higher than normal while watching movies of tv. But its fine because it does and can turn up high enough to sound normal or higher. Now in game mode while playing games no need to turn it up because it makes the sound clearer in that mode.
Overall This is an incredible tv and for a gamer/tv/movie lover you cant go wrong. So very happy with this tv and do not regret buying!

I had this TV for a year and 3 months now. Problems started appearing after 6 months. Screen freezing and apps load so slow. Now I started seeing dead pixels on the top right corner. I don't know if the pixels will continue dying or it will be limited to where they are now. Overall not worth the $2500 I spent at that time.

I bought this to replace a Samsung plasma that I had in my living room, I was planning on going with the UHD by Samsung but had my concerns on the curved screen. NO MORE. I am beyond happy with this TV and the picture, there is not a bad seat in the living room at all, even with blinds/doors open during peak daylight I cannot find a glare which is something that plagued my plasma TV. Smart Hub works flawlessly so far, and while there is not a ton of UHD/4K content out there, what is looks amazing. I would gladly buy this TV again.

Hi definition sharp picture quality. Includes great apps like Netflix, Huluplus etc. Remote is very comprehensive and highly intuitive to use. Love the functionality. Curve of the TV gives a consistent view from all angles. Very easy to set up and use. For best performance of connectivity I suggest using wired internet versus wifi.
