So far so good but HDMI ARC issue

I dont mind less HDMI ports but they should work. The TV is good; sometimes it just becomes very low brightness without any reason for a few seconds Overall am happy... just needed a good large TV with good picture quality and got it for a good price on bestbuy. what bugs me is that HDMI ARC does not work with my LG soundbar. ALL steps described have been undertaken including enabling anynet+, changing HDMI cable (Type A ith ethernet high speed) but the HDMI ARC port DOES NOT sent out audio which defeats the purpose of ARC altogether... I wanted to get better quality audio thru HDMI (HDMI is supposed to be better quality than optical). Other than that, its an ok TV

    Only two HDMI inputs

What were they thinking? I have three peripherals. I need more connections, not less. I was just coming to accept the elimination of the VGA video connector on newer TVs, and now it looks like I'll need a switch box.. At least they still have an ATSC tuner, unlike the new Vizio models. The user manual covers the MU6070, MU6290, and MU6300 series and is not specific to one model, referring the reader to on-screen displays. It is confusing to determine which features are available and which apply to another model. The manual explains the smart remote, which is not provided with the MU6290 model. Also, the MU6290 model has a fiber optic interface for connecting an external sound system. Users with older sound systems expecting to see analog audio out jacks will be disappointed.

HDMI ports could have been at least 3. I bought a Rocketfish™ - 4-Port 4K HDMI Switch Box - Black, thinking this will fix the issue with having less ports but NO. HDMI Switch Box does not work on this TV.

Very poor picture quality... AVOID this mistake

We bought this on Black Friday and returned it the following morning. While that was a pain to do, taking it apart and boxing it, it was so necessary. The picture is grey or shadowing in the corners for most of your viewing. Only in high lighted scenes does it get "ok". No way was this worth the $750 we paid. It is also 60hz refresh rate, not 120hz. The box and marketing tell you 120 Motion Something... but they're hiding its really 60hz. Three year old tech being repackaged and sold as a "Great Deal". It's not. We bought a Sony 900 series instead and are very happy with it. Yes, the Sony cost was more, but worth it. Also, Samsung does make a nice TV, but anything in the E series means "economy" and that equals poor quality. Buyer beware.

I got this as part of the Black Friday deal they were running. Strange that it's now Monday and the price is still $750. This is a nice tv, but it doesn't have stunning HD that almost every other Samsung has. We've played around with the settings and adjusted the clarity all the way up, but it did very little. It could just be that this is the quality that we get for this price. I ordered a $750, 65" Vizio to compare the two side by side... I'll report back when it arrives tomorrow.

despite the TV having exceptional quality in color, and clarity, The connectivity limited-ness is seriously one part that ticks me off to no end. I have cable, a blu-ray player, and 2 gaming systems. With only 2 HDMI inputs and no component, or RGA availability I can't even change my inputs on my devices to make a connection. Also I have noticed that even with an HDMI hub to hook up to HDMI Input 1 No matter what source i pick on my HUB it still will only allow one device to be selected as the source. so I am still stuck with either switching cables everytime I want to use a different device or deal without. I think I should have waited and gotten the 3 HDMI version of this TV instead, with the multiple component options. I will prolly take this back for a refund. Stinks too because this was what I thought a great buy. definitely not a BEST BUY.

This is a solid 4K smart TV with good color and picture. However, the smart TV functions stopped working after a year, so now I just use it for regular television purposes.

pains me to spend more time on this, but someone has to know, since samsung will not help in any way. 2 days old, 20 + hours dealing with chat and phone having connectivity issue to router and not being able to use TV as intended smart Tv should be. knowledge of reps not adequate as I was told to 1. return to store, 2. my tv wasnt made to connect to the internet...........3. schedule service for a tv that didnt work out of the box. Samsung will not provide troubleshooting to fix problem, alongside each department having different rules: where one department can remotely access TV, and another says they can only access if I am connected???? why would I need help remotely to connect to the router, if I was already connected????? Now I do not know what to do with a smart TV that is not very smart at all

    Terrible Picture Quality

We own a 55" Samsung Smart TV, and decided to order a 65" in the Black Friday sales. The TV arrived today, and the picture quality is terrible, compared to our other TV. The colors are over-saturated, and the background is pixelated and blurred. Changing settings did not improve matters, and movies/shows through 3rd party devices also looked awful. Apparently, this is a model exclusive to Best Buy for sales events, and is of lower quality than standard TVs. Run away!

I was recommended this tv from a associate. Brought it home set it up. Only 2 hdmi hookups whats up with that on a new model. No Rca sound connection either. Set it up what a lousy picture. Time for Samsung to go back to the drawing board. Took it back promptly and bought a Viseo. Night and day difference.

Bought this on black friday. Set it up today and there was missing parts. Ended up making due with what we had on tap. One part ended up snapping. After everything, we plugged it in and there was a defect on the screen. Ordering another one and hoping for the best, but a warning. Please test this out asap!
