Purchased this TV for my In-Laws. Did our reviews online and had decided to look at a couple models/makes. Went to Best Buy and looked at each of our potential choices. Once we compared the picture quality, the decision was easy. This Samsung, with the high Dynamic Range, produced a beautiful picture. Absolutely beautiful!! Took it home and setup was quick and easy. My In-Laws are loving it. I’m considering purchasing one for my home in the near future.

After much research, I chose this Samsung. Wow, I couldn’t be happier. The adjustability of the legs, overall look, sound, ease of set up, and most importantly the picture. It is so clear that it looks like regular shows are documentaries. It just looks like you are there. Every time I turn it on I’m blown away. Since LED technology became the standard, I have been a Sharp buyer, but if all Samsung’s are this good, they just gained a new customer. If you’re on the fence about which TV to buy, for the price this one is hard to beat. You won’t have any regrets.

Great picture and color! Upgraded our TV and have no regrets. Colors pop and it was very easy to set up. Love that the remote controls all my devices.

I've had this TV about 5 months now and I do not regret purchasing it. The picture is awesome and the depth of colors is amazing. It takes a little to get used to when coming from a normal 1080p picture but that didn't take very long. The only problem is now I have trouble watching non 4K TVs because I notice the picture isn't as clear. Setup is fairly easy and the instructions out of the box are good enough. I don't "love" the remote but have gotten used to it. I linked with my TV Provider remote (Mediacom) and tend to use that more than the factory Samsung remote. I added a soundbar to it as well so of course depending on what I'm watching I have to switch between multiple remotes. It's just life these days needing multiple remotes for the full movie viewing experience. The Smart menu features are great and easy to use. I haven't used them a lot but its the typical Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Amazon Prime etc. Overall I love this TV and would not hesitate to buy another one based on quality. I got it on sale during the December, packed it with Best Buy Rewards and then opened a Best Buy card to get an additional 10% in rewards back. So financially, even though it was still high in price I ended up getting around $600 off regular price. It's been well worth it.

The picture quality is excellent, provided there is content out there you want to watch. If you play 1080p HD shows or movies thats recorded in excellent quality they show excellent. 4k uhd again is excellent. Though when I got out my old dvds of M*A*S*H*, it does enhance the picture, but, you can obviously tell its a lower resolution recording. Also, playing back some 4k content from youtube you can see on some videos a slight blur effect. I am unsure if its the way the video is recorded or the bandwidth of my connection or the tv processing it all. Though it is curious that in the videos where the action is and your watching, it is clear yet, if you look into the background or where typically you weren't really intended to look is where the blur happens. Again these videos are from youtube and may not be the best 4k media to judge from. I haven't used a 4k player on it. Another thing I noticed, when you search the reviews on 4k uhd tvs' picture you'll find comments about it being too black. Personally I think thats because just about everyone is not used to black being black on their tv. Plus the whites and colors kinda pop. There is some slight improvements needed in either the tv technology or the way its recorded. Compared to my last flat screen tv I think the sound from this tv is quite good on its own, unless your offered a free soundbar, save your money and see if you like the sound from it before you go buy a sound bar. Unless you Like It Loud ('Kiss' reference there). It is also nice that when you turn it on, givin' the connection is still active, It immediately picks up from when you shut it off. I had one issue, I accidentally erased an app. then reinstalled it. but the sound from the tv wasn't the same, all across any sources I played. After a day of it persisting I figured I'd try the 'unplug it, wait 30 seconds' thing, and it was fine after that. Gaming is also another whole thing to get used to. Like video content, some is better some is not. Lastly, for anyone that has a 'tv computer' like I did. This basically replaces everything. There's usb ports for any of your common files. The remote is nice, simple and if you need to make a long search entry you can talk to it, it dosen't get it right all the time but still. It also has blue tooth so you can add whatever you want keyboard sound etc.

Love our new TV- so many options and so high tech. We have Direct TV who only has a couple 4K channels so we are only able to use this option on movies. Can't wait until companies get with it so we can always use the higher features it has. VERY good quality of picture. VERY easy set up. If you have a smaller room, the sound from the TV isn't that bad. We have a bigger room and purchased a sound bar. But we were using it without by accident for a couple days and there wasn't a huge difference.

This was a spendy purchase for us but we so needed a good quality tv as our other one was just about 7 yrs old and was way to small for the room we had it in. Ive been nothing but impressed with the quality and ease of use, and ease of installation/ set up, for this tv. Samsung has made things so very easy setting up with the internet, sound system. Etc. The picture is absolutely amazing and we love the different visual options you can choose from. If you get a tv this year, make it this one.

I was amazed with the ease of setup and the picture for this TV. This price was a major selling point, also. I was not aware of all of the apps included in the smart portion due to the box only having Netflix printed on it but it covers it all, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Youtube, etc. You really can't go wrong with this TV.

Old Vizio was on it’s last leg and it was time to upgrade. Picture is stunning and unbelievable how clear and crisp 4K HDR content is. TV itself was easy to set up. Having the inputs on a separate box that connects to the TV only using one cable is nice for cable management. Easily mounted to the wall with two people. I guess the only negative would be the screen is very reflective so sun light can disrupt viewing sometimes but close the blinds and it’s fine.

After shopping different brands and screen sizes I decided that this 65" Samsung was the right choice to replace my 58" Panasonic Plasma. There is nothing wrong with my Panasonic but I felt the need to upgrade to a 4K UHD Smart TV with wireless connectivity. I am cutting the expensive satellite bill in favor of streaming shows. I may forfeit some local channels, but still will be able to watch my favorite shows. I bought a Roku Ultra streaming player to go with it. After measuring dimensions of my Panasonic 58",. the Samsung 65", is almost exactly the same size as the Panasonic including the frame. The Samsung is all screen with a very thin border. The Panasonic screen is smaller, but with the built in speakers and thicker framing around the screen, the set takes up the same space as the 65" Samsung, so there was no worry about the Samsung being overwhelming taking over the space of the Panasonic. Setup was very easy and I suggest having some help removing the set from the box. The Samsung is not very heavy(about 41 lbs) as it weighs only about a third of the Panasonic Plasma(130 lbs). I suggest following the unpacking instructions and have help if you choose to only opt for delivery and not setup. The screen is fragile because of its' thinness, so carefully handle it when setting up the wiring and legs. The remote is easy to use and learn your other devices. I also like the cable management hiding wiring along the back of the set and in the legs. Plus the Samsung One Connect makes it a breeze to connect your other components/gaming system, as it has many inputs and a digital audio output. I am very happy with the purchase of this 65" Samsung and highly recommend it if you want a beautiful big screen 4K UHD Smart TV.

Great tv, I bought two of them. Great picture, easy set up, the remote is excellent. Happy with the purchase.

The remote is very advanced, but takes a few minutes to get used to. We give the TV a 5 star rating. I used to buy Sony TV's, but we had a problem with a Samsung TV that was several years old and Samsung actually sent a repairman to our house and fixed the TV at no charge. I think it was long out of warranty. I have never had to adjust a Samsung TV. I do think that the color is more natural on a Sony TV, but we like the color on a Samsung much better.

I spent a good few months looking into a new tv for our home. We had a 55 LG. I knew this time around I wanted Samsung. Samsung has always displayed great pictures and quality. Probably has something to do with how I love all my androids I use by them. I love Samsung products. Originally we were thinking of keeping the tv size at 55 inch. Of course, after looking at the 65 inch at best buy, we decided 65 it'll be. This is my first smart tv. The color is absolutely stunning. The sound quality is great. The remote is user friendly, assembling took about 20 minutes. It was such an awesome purchase! The bonus of this is that I can also use my NOTE 8 *also purchased at Best Buy* as a remote!!! The gentleman helping us was very friendly and informative regarding our questions on the different models. This made our purchase a great experience. I would definitely recommend this. This Smart Tv offers great quality and delivers an outstanding movie watching experience right in your own home!

Love this TV! Especially love the new remote. The remote works on just about all my devices (blueray, nvidia shield, certain features when I broadcast my computer). The picture is beautiful. I upgraded from a Samsung 50” and can tell a noticeable difference. It’s easy to use and configure, for movies, games, and for setting up your other devices. You plug the devices in, the TV will recognize them and sync together. Very easy to navigate

Purchased this TV on black Friday deals. it was excellent choice. do not be fool with negative reviews.picture quality is stunning, very stylish ,so easy to set up and TV is very smart. HDR function makes big different on big screen. The ONE CONNECTION is very easy to connect everything no problem at all. so glad that we bought it....

Easy to set up. Lovely to watch. And that picture! A whole new movie enjoying experience for us. We love that the view angle is very good even at an angle. I can still see the screen when I am in the kitchen and almost at a 60 degree angle. Very nice indeed! What I truly loved was how easy the system came together. Our cable box and blu ray player were recognized almost instantly by the Samsung unit and remote. Love it!

I was going to buy a QLED TV but this one was a thousand dollars less with a slight difference in quality and features. I definitely liked the TV in every aspect. The design, picture quality, and features are all amazing. The one connect box or whatever it's called is actually a great idea for organization and convenience. This TV has a good refresh rate that is definitely noticeable compared to my other 4K TV.

I’ve thoroughly researched all 65” 4k hdr tv for under $1,500.00. Consumer Reports rated the Samsung un65mu8000 the best in its class for price and performance.They were spot on with their review‼️Picture, sound(40watts), apps were the best I’ve seen in this price point. Theater quality for sure. I was so pleased with the quality I also purchased the Samsung un49mu8000 (under $800) for my brother’s college apartment because he’s plays a lot of games & watches a lot of sports. He loves his 49” version of this tv. U will have to get both TVs wall mounted by the Geek Squad because the legs are 43” & 59” apart so it can’t sit on a normal dresser. We’re both extremely pleased with the quality & price of this product. If you purchase these versions of Samsung televisions you won’t regret your purchase.
