This TV has outdone All my expectations, this is my second 4K TV 2 years ago I bought the 65 in UHD 7000 series.
There are great improvements over the past couple of years, the improved local dimming, HDR Graphics have a greater contrast, the depth and expanse of color is literally mind-blowing.
This TV takes my Xbox One X to the next level, I would say is at least a 30% Improvement and Graphics over the UHD 7 series from 2017.
I recommend this TV to anyone The Hub is excellent the processor is extremely fast, switching from Netflix to Hulu or regular TV is seamless.
The apps allow for 4K viewing of Netflix and 4K viewing of Hulu and other apps, it allows you to maximize the use of this TV.
Connecting and controlling all your electronics is a snap, with its intelligent remote.
I can turn my Xbox One X on and off and control movies and do virtually everything on my Xbox with it, same thing with my stereo system and cable box.
The voice control works seamlessly either finding movies changing channels are maneuvering through my favorite apps. Samsung definitely hit a homerun with this TV, it's a step ahead of the competition and well worth every penny

Bought this set to replace my smaller LG set, was impressed by the picture and the ease of use. Just about ready to go outside the box, and it walks through everything to get your WiFi enabled and connected to any external devices. Make sure you have them plugged in to the set before you turn the tv on so the set will recognize them automatically. As far as the picture, it’s good out of the box but I would recommend setting it to cinema.
The only thing to be aware of is to make sure your stand is wide enough because the stand connects in the middle. Other than that, really glad to have gotten this set.

This TV replaced a 4k non hdr vizio. I noticed the difference immediately after playing 4k HDR content from my Apple TV. The picture is rich with color. The blacks are good its not OLED but then again you didn't pay OLED pricing for it. Its able to detect your devices automatically and has plentiful apps and smart actions. Bixby voice assistant is nice for weather updates volume adjustments and brightness enhancements. I purchased an Xbox one X and this tv supports all enhancements for it as well. You can toggle betwen 1440 with 120hz or 4k at 60hz. Very satisfied with this TV.

First off, I got this on a black Friday sale (2018), and I haven't seen the price matched anywhere since. So if you're buying this TV under 1K I would highly recommend it! I read all the reviews here and other sites and went to the local best buy to check out my options. Side by side with the next QLED model, I personally didn't see much of a difference for the price. Of course, the higher the model, the more differences you'll see. For my budget, and for my TV usage, the NU8000 model (65 inch) was perfect. I don't watch much TV outside of Netflix. However, the 4k stuff I've streamed looks incredible. I do play PS4 quite a bit, this TV really handles well for gaming. (Be sure to check your HDR settings on your PS4, the games itself, and adjust to your liking). I did tinker with settings forever to get that perfect color/brightness etc. The built in sound is pretty great too. Sure you can add a soundbar, but for my tiny apartment, I definitely don't need one. Sounds amazing. Okay, so the cons... I got this with a 0 interest credit card, and on sale, so the price was right for me. I don't know if I'd be completely happy at full retail value, and would recommend upgrading to QLED if you're really into hi-def 4k tv watching. The other con I would say is the built in software. Bixby is great, and the remote control is really easy to use, but seeing ads for SLING in my menu gets tiresome really quickly. And the WHITE colored background can be brighter than the sun in the summer on Mercury if you're watching TV in the dark. Other than that, I am extremely happy with this purchase. I can't get too technical about it, but go to the store and check it out. It's a great and simple design, and I love the built in cord management it has. Good luck and I hope this info was helpful for your decision.

I am very please with my purchase. The picture quality is great. HD and UHD videos look great. Even though not as much 4K content is available as I'd like the content that is available is awesome. More 4K content will soon be available so I'm not worried about that. I love "smart" functionality of the smart tv. It's very easy to use. The speakers aren't the best sound for a living room but that can be easily fixed with a sound bar. In a bedroom where I have my tv setup the speaks do their job. Its user interface is very smooth and responsive. No lag once so ever. Tv turnes kn and off with in a second of pressing the power button, so no waiting. Overall I love my tv and would recommend buying this same TV as you get great picture quality and dont have to break the bank as you would on a QLED tv

The picture is gorgeous, very easy to work and the remote is voice activated. It also comes with tv plus which is basically a free streaming cable service so I now watch the Fail Army channel in my off-time!! Also, first tv I’ve ever owned that had enough input/output jacks for my numerous video game and other components. I don’t have one complaint with this tv!!!!

I had this tv for about 2 months so far, crisp picture, great colors and user friendly. The style of the tv is very nice and the cable storage in the back is very useful. I also love the universal remote, may reviews complained about the remote but I actually prefer this small remote with fewer buttons than the typical tv remote with so many buttons that are never frequently used. You can perform all the actions required, I control the tv, roku streamer and the soundbar with this single remote.
Things to be aware of: You do notice the picture quality drops when you watch from the side, I was aware of this when researching online reviews and it is noticeable, so it is something to consider based on your room configuration viewing angles etc. but I would say not a deal breaker. Another thing, the picture brightness kept dimming whenever I was watching any programs with dark scenes, played with settings and turned the feature off but the tv still would lower the brightness in certain scenes, after I connected a roku streamer to the tv the problem went away, not sure if this related to the input signal configuration.
Overall I would definitely recommend this tv, since the benefits significantly outweigh any minor issues.

The picture is beautiful. The size is perfect. The price was okay. My only problem is the remote functions and screen menu, they are confusing; and even thought the manual is digitally incorporated in the television, I prefer a good old printed version. We haven't had time to really check out the manual and options to change the screen menu, but I'm sure it will make using the remote a whole lot easier once we can look at our options. Love the Television and the Smart Features it has. I used to wear my glasses to watch television, but with the size of this screen, even small print on commercials are clearer. My husband watches a lot of sports and the picture is so clear, you can see the faces of the fans behind the batter, the goalie, etc. It's enjoyable to watch this television.

This TV has really impressed me! Setup is simple, the menu layout is awesome and easy to use. I love the simplistic remote and can control my tv, sounder, DVD player, and Comcast cable all in the same remote and very easy to setup and get used to. The picture quality is amazing especially while streaming such as Netflix and Amazon Movies. I would have given it 5 stars but the picture quality isn't as great with my live tv, Comcast. It's not bad but it's not great either. I don't really mind because we don't watch a whole lot of tv anyways and do most of our watching by streaming services. So if you're like me, then this is a perfect tv! The standard sound is great too; however we purchased a Samsung sounder (HW-MS650) and that makes it even better.

This is the third Samsung 65 inch smart tv’s in my fleet at home. This is a grest smart tv and the picture is pure perfection. The setup took only 5 minutes and I was online and watching Game of Thrones in no time. The menu is as usual a Samsung intelligent menu and my color settings were just a single button selection. The sound is awesome and the tv comes on in2 seconds.

Pros: Beautiful picture. 4 hdmi inputs. Clean cable solution in the back. Great for gaming. The lag was non existent when I streamed games via nvidia shield from pc to tv. The remote is great, smooth transitions between menu items and source selection. Smart features are pretty good as well. Though I use nvidia shield for netflix streaming, using the samsung tv apps was not bad either..
Great price for a very good tv..
Cons: Bixby at best is a gimmick, voice recognition is nowhere at the level of google assistant or alexa.
Sound quality is poor but who uses tv sound on a 65 inch tv anyway. You got to have an AV reciever and surround sound

We've had this Samsung 65 inch TV for several months now. Happy so far. The picture looks good to us. We like the small easy to use remote. Love that it has Bluetooth! My husband had to have his wireless headphones. We have also enjoyed the Smart features.

I purchased this NU8000 for a great price. I was watching this model for over a year and finally got it. I am amazed by the picture quality and sound. Of course the 120hz native refresh rate is great as well not to mention the wifi is very fast compared to previous years. There are plenty of options to get the picture you want from general settings. Sound is really good at 40 watts peak, but I have a sound bar that works better when streaming netflix. Works great with my Galaxy phone bluetooth, mirror casting and direct wifi work very well also. I
Bought this model the 2nd week in December and feel now is the time to review.

Setup was pretty easy. Remote is easier to use than our previous remote. Wireless connection worked easily. Price was good. Not the biggest or the latest technology, but perfect for our needs. Looks good on our wall. Worked with our previous wall mount except different size bolts were needed. Overall we are happy with our purchase.

Exchanged the Vizio D-series 4k after faulty display and a disappointing clarity and sound. Got this for a slight difference in value, but it was 100% worth it. The visual clarity is flawless, easy to setup and navigate. Gaming on this TV is by far superior to what I've experienced. The sound isn't top notch but it will certainly be sufficient, no complaints at all. The remote as voice recognition commands. This seems to be the new thing but you get free cable channels thru Samsung, limited channels, but have some worth watching. 4 HDMI ports, a deal maker. A perfectly placed TV mounting stand that even fits smaller desk stands. Light weight and simply beautiful looking. Great value for the price.

To be clear, I am not a TV junkie in that I do not notice every minute detail of how black/white/clear the picture is. But I DO know what I like, and i like this TV! The new picture was almost too realistic so we set it back to normal mode. But I LOVE the smart TV features. Old TV had a fire stick and our WiFi would cut out way too often. This TV is hard wired to our router and it's much faster clicking between all the streaming services available.
Still learning all the ropes and options, and I do wish it had the composite input (it does not) but so far I love it!

I switched from LG and I immediately knew this was a better made TV. Got two different opinions from workers in the TV department who steered me to this TV. Brought it home-the first one had an bad issue with the picture. I had just returned an LG the same day and now this one! I said I will give it one more shot because I loved the way it was made. Thin. Chrome bar front. Nice stand. Narrow banding around screen. Third one was a charm! Calming music plays while you’re setting up the TV which was nice. I like the tiny remote too. Picture is good. Sound is good. Still tweaking the settings a bit. So far so good. It matches the stand purchased here nicely with the chrome front.
