I have owned this TV for a little over a year now but it has given me the ability to give an in-depth review of this Samsung product. First and foremost right out of the box is that its very slim and light and the remote is much more simple to operate compared to the previous series I've owned over the years. Second, the picture quality is excellent compared to a 6th or 7th series Samsung TV with vivid colors and sharp picture quality for the price range. Now the third thing I must mention is that hooking up a PS4 or a laptop and switching back and forth is very easy to do with zero issues. Last but not least the sound quality is great and adjustable for anyone's needs/likes. Overall this product is outstanding and will be buying more TV's in the future from Samsung.

I looked at a number of reviews before I purchased this TV. I was not originally interested in Samsung because of the One Connect box that had to be used. The NU8000 does not have the one connect so I started to consider it. I read multiple reviews and CAE down to the Visio P series, the Sony 850F and this Samsung. After looking and evaluating what I needed the samsung won out due to price and reliability. The picture is outstanding. I don’t care much a bout the sound quality since I use a full surround sound system which connected and works with no issues. I did adjust the color and picture settings to my liking partially based on the RTINGS setting suggestions. I cant stream well in my area due to limited internet so I can’t count on delay lags in that area. Blu-ray looks outstanding with the samsung up scaling. I was frankly surprised at the quality. Sports are excellent with no movement blur and almost a 3D quality to the image.

This was an upgrade from my smaller 48” 1080p Sony. It took me a few days to finally dial in the right picture settings for compatibility with directv. But after that process, the picture is quite an upgrade. Almost 3D at times. I have not had the opportunity to view anything in actual 4k at this point in time. There just isn’t a lot of programming out there yet. There is a bit of a learning curve with this tv. But, I really like the remote and the simplicity of its layout and functions. They definitely got that right. I have wireless headphones and the connection process is flawless. I have all input sources connected through my Yamaha receiver, with one out to the tv arc hdmi. Both remotes (directv and Samsung) function equally well. If you can afford an OLED go for it. If not, this is a great choice.

After spending several weeks researching various TVs under $1,200, I went with the Samsung NU8000 as it was on sale for $999.99 and offered 4 HDMI, an awesome picture, the voice search option, pretty decent sound quality. You can easily hear the TV which was mounted in our living room and can hear it easily from the kitchen. The colors are excellent, despite it not being calibrated yet. You need about 100 hours of it being able to calibrating it correctly. The remote is typical Samsung and works fine. No blurring of fast action scenes since this has 240 motion rate. Have had it about 3 weeks and love it. Best value for the price.

This is a great TV and it is a smart TV by Samsung. It automatically recognized any devices that plug into the TV. The setup was easy and quick. I have my DIRECTV and PS3 box connected directly to it. The remote controls all these devices.

Amazing picture, We looked at higher priced TV's in the stores when shopping, the OLED's, QLED's and all the latest upper technology. We could see differences in the upper level models when the salesperson was demoing. And... it was quite impressive. However, with the budget we had set for ourselves, we were able to resist. The Samsung 8000 Series TV, once in our home was such an upgrade from our previous TV that we immediately knew it was the right choice. A great TV and within our budget,

Had to buy a new TV when grandkids broke the previous new TV we wanted a great image and big screen. The image quality is good about 7/10 motion is a bit blurry so maybe 6/10. Size is impressive, hook up easy, smart TV is easy to use. If you put it on WiFi be prepared for annoying messages about possible viruses. I was happier with the previous 55 inch TV but this 65 inch not bad.

I went to the store wanting 70" minimum, only to find out that 75" is actually the standard and those were simply out of my budget. So I started looking at the 65" models and settled on this one. This one had the best combination of features and specs. I wanted, as well as a beautiful picture. It was easy to set up and super intelligent about discovering my cable converter box and sound bar. The smart apps are fantastic, and lightning fast to load, navigate, and start the show you select. I really enjoy being able to use the bixby features of the remote and want to learn more about using them effectively. The picture is gorgeous! It's amazing how much more clear it was than my 2-3 yr. old Samsung 58" LED! Watching the same shows I yam now seeing them in ways that I never had before! The picture is simply beautiful. I have already recommended this TV to a friend that is in the market right meow.

This tv is amazing! It has a crisp picture and easy to maneuver through all the apps and smart technology options. We also bought a wall mount, it is light weight and easy to hang. Setup was also quick and easy.

The Picture quality is great. Easy to set up. Remote Makes it easy to change from tv to Netflix, YouTube, or DVD player. Overall a great buy. My 4th Samsung tv I have owned.

The first one I bought got a thin horizontal line about 6 inches up from the bottom about about a month and a half after I put it in service. Called Samsung and they did some remote troubleshooting online. They couldn't figure it out so turned it over to their field service tech to come and install a new screen. They didn't have a tech close enough to make the repair so they set it up for me to make an exchange at the best buy store I purchased it from. I was glad they went with an exchange since a repair would have basically given me a refurbished TV. The exchange was made and the new TV was delivered and old TV picked up at no charge. The new TV has been in service for about 2 months and I am happy with it. It walks you through the set up. It has a good picture. The apps are fairly easy to work with. The bixby is a neat option for finding shows even if you have directv hooked up to it. Wall mounting: There are special bushings that come with the tv for attaching the mounting brackets to the back of the TV. I didn't realize it at first and spent some extra time getting the brackets attached. Moral of the story is make sure you unpack the enclosed bags and inventory the parts before you jump in to the installation.

I was looking for a new smart TV, as my old TV was not a smart one. I did a lot of research and found the Samsung 8000 series was rated high. After reading about several, I looked at them in-store, before deciding what I wanted. I couldn't be more pleased with the TV overall. The picture is great and the refresh rate is phenomenal. The only drawback is that my Directv receiver is hidden behind a wall and the great remote that Samsung has is only IR. An RF remote that goes through walls, like the Directv remote would be better.

This Samsung 65 inch NU 8000 series tv is a really nice tv for a great price! I bought this tv after doing a lot of research on all the different models out there to choose from. Yes there are probably better ones out there, but for the price it was really a simple choice for me. The picture is awesome. I’m not an expert by any means, but for my untrained eye I couldn’t really tell much difference between them all. Unless you really wanted to spend some serous money on an OLED., but I have read that they have issues I did not want to deal with. So in my opinion you can’t go wrong with the Samsung 65 inch NU8000 series. Great tv so far.

I couldn't be more pleased with this TV. Great sharp picture and sound is pretty good. I really like the remote with Bixby. It runs everything with voice activation including cable box. Best Buy delivered in two days as promised. If you look on the internet you might save a few bucks but you won't have Best Buy to call if something does go wrong. Also Best Buy's website has videos to help you unpack and set up, very helpful. You can't go wrong with this set. Pricey but has all the bells and whistles.

Love samsung. This tv offers the best picture quality. Easy to mount on wall. Easy step by step set up. Love the voice remote. Connected well with my sony home theatre

I did a lot of research on finding the perfect TV and continually kept being brought back to one particular model. I replaced an older Samsung big screen TV with this new Samsung smart TV. I am so thrilled with it. The picture makes you feel as though you are in a live place with the characters of whatever show you are watching. Anyone who has seen my new TV is in awe of what a great picture it has. It is a great mid range TV. I am extremely happy with my choice. I have not used all the perks yet. I am still learning, so I cannot comment on them as of yet. What a great investment at a great price.

Excellent 65" smart UHD TV. Easy set up, and quick to learn remote. Colors are deep with amazing contrast. Best word to describe picture "WOW". Quality sound as well.

I needed a second TV for my basement and chose this TV as I thought it was a great balance between price, TV Specs, and features for my needs. I tend to shop for electronics that I think will "future-proof" for a few years without breaking the bank. Going on sale for $899 sealed the deal for me. This is my third Samsung TV. My first Samsung TV was one of their curved models with 3D before they came out with QLED - still a great TV after all this time. I've had no issues at all and recommend Samsung TVs to prospective buyers. Pair it with a 4K Blu-Ray player and you can't go wrong!

From all of the research I have done into picking out our first 4k TV I have to say ours is so far pretty amazing. I was trying to purchase honestly the last year model the MU8000, but we wanted a TV that day and decided to get the NU8000. Compared to our Sony 55 inch HD TV it is quite amazing. The interface / os is very responsive, no lagg issues, and is very snappy in being responsive. Unlike our Sony Android os smart tv.... was extremely buggy, laggy, and at times unresponsive to the point that restarting the tv was regular and still very laggy. The Sony had great potential but the problems with the os really was a nasty draw back in its performance. At this moment only time will tell , but so far our experience has been much better than our previous purchase. The view really is quite well done and I cant imagine anyone having problems with the NU8000.
