WE had the red LG steam washer and dryer and just didn't feel like the $2,900 price tag was worth it. We went back to select a less expensive pair, and decided on these. I almost think I like them more. I thought I would miss the red, but these are great looking, picture doesn't do justice. This pair also is nice because the previous pair (washer) vibrated badly, and the Samsung has VRT(vibration reduction technology), which automatically cuts down the vibration ALOT! We have a softer tile, and I think it causes the washer to vibrate, but this washer does so much better.

This dryer is great. Some of these new dryers have way too much going on... I mean, a girl needs options, but.... when you have 300 digital options it feels like your socks are lost in technology. This machine is very user friendly, and makes doing laundry easy. And I never, EVER have to run the clothes through again because they weren't dry. EVER! Awesome!!!!

This dryer is extraordinarily quiet...love that! I also really love the sensor drying! I always hated having to guess how long to dry the clothes without just running a dryer full of dry clothes because that's how long the cycle took. With sensor drying, your cycle might start out saying it's going to take 45 minutes, but if the clothes are light and well spun, the dryer automatically reduces the drying time so that you aren't wasting time and electricity or putting extra wear and tear on your clothes! That does make it necessary to remember to set the wrinkle prevent, though! I like the wrinkle prevent because it is an intermittent/non-heated tumble so it is very energy friendly and still saves you having to iron or restart the dryer. I love all the options and I love the very user-friendly controls. It tells you exactly what options you have and all you have to do is follow the cues and push the right buttons! I got this dryer for a great price at Best Buy on sale, and I really wish I hadn't waited so long to replace my old dryer! Everything is coming out of the dryer just as fresh as new!

Great machine. I wanted a steam one, but didn't think another $1500 was worth it. This one is fine. From washer/dryer reviews of all kinds, I was worried about holes, spin too much in washers & noise on my wood floor. Not to worry-all is good. This SRT is really quiet & is off our kitchen. The settings are several--covers everything. You can use the sensor & the drying time works well or you can use the timed dry which automatically sets a time length, but you can adjust it up or down yourself. It has a wrinkle setting so it will go on/off until you can empty it. Buzzer can be shut off. Honestly I love it. Only wish they'd make them taller or include the pedestal...or make those cheaper.

This dryer is great, and we only got it to match our washer as our old dryer still worked fine. It is fast and the anti-wrinkle feature is pretty cool. Clothes come out great. Best buy service techs were awesome in bringing both machines in the house and carrying them in, and setting them on the pedestals and getting things hooked up! they also carted out both old machines and took away our old washer at no cost. (We were giving our dryer to a friend who needed one.)

Great dryer! looks really good and has lots of options. It dries clothes quicker than any other dryer ive used, and the clothes come out softer and more wrinkle free than ever. It even re-cycles them if you leave them in there on wrinkle free mode. It also has cool sounds when you finish. The unit is very deep though, so measure your space if it is going in a laundry room/closet.

This dryer is great, as well as the washer to match. Dont waste your money on more expensive ones, they do the same thing the same way. The only thing I dont like is that if I want my clothes to all dry right, I have to do my jeans together with nothing else because the sensor will detect the other clothes are dry and stop drying. But all dryers no matter the price with this sensor will do the same thing. Also, blankets like to roll up and stay the way they are, and do the same thing. But again thats normal. FOR ANYONE WANTING A NEW SET THAT IS A FRONT LOADING SET, GET THIS SET. IT WORKS PERFECT, LOOKS GREAT, AND IF YOU BUY THE PEDESTALS, THEY ARE EVEN BETTER! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON MORE PRICEY SETS. Also, you can get this set in different colors!

I love that it senses whether clothes are dry so we don't have to rerun a load or dry something longer than it needs to. Wish the signal was louder but overall a great dryer. Wish the matching washer was even half as good.

Good match to the Washer we purchased. The pair work very well, very satisfied. Amount of water used is a DRASTIC reduction & clothes dry much faster in comparison to the old tub washer & dryer.

This dryer is great. Many of our loads are done in about 20 minutes, even towels. There are nice features like adjusting the dry setting to more dry, less dry, etc. Also a wrinkle release option if you didn't get the clothes out of the dryer right away, this time can be adjust to as little as 6 minutes. I also like that the tub is lit when the door is open. I am very pleased with this dryer and the matching washer, you won't be disappointed. We also set up ourselves and it was very easy for my husband, but he's a handyman. It's so easy to use my kids can do the laundry.

I really like the rack that comes with it, being able to lay things flat to dry is a big plus.

Bought the Samsung DV218AEW dryer as a matched set with the WF218ANW washer. The dryer sensor drying function would start at 40 minutes, go down to 12 minutes, then jump to 50 minutes, go down to 15 minutes, jump to 50 minutes and keep doing this for four hours. The clothes were dry after about 30 minutes. this started when the dryer was only 8 months old. Repair center (under factory warranty) could not get one of the circuit boards they said they needed to fix, Samsung could not provide a delivery date for the part, so after four weeks of waiting and talking to customer service, problem was elevated (after I pushed). Samsung offered to "exchange" the dryer after another month (now two months with defective dryer). Exchange approved, but could only find a blue one. Would not work with my white washer. Samsung said they would try to exchange the washer also. Still waiting to hear on the washer after the request has been resubmitted two additional times (it is now approaching three months with a dryer that does not function properly). I call and email almost daily to check status and try to push it through, but executive customer service personnel say there is no way to expedite, and they are sorry I do not have a dryer that works properly, but please be patient. Once the exchange comes through, I will be issued a store credit for what I paid - the set was on sale, and so I will have to spend an additional $400 to $800 to get an equivalent replacement set. Three months with an improperly working dryer!!! Must spend additional money to replace!!! Samsung again - I don't think so.
