3 year old brand new dryer and had to replace last year the belt and heater wire already. Now it is making so much noise and had to call servicemen again.

My expectations were high and the reality is it is not as good as I thought it would be.

While our old dryer was still functioning, when we replaced our Neptune washer my wife wanted the matching dryer and this one is well worth it. One of the few steam dryers to have the water supply come from the hose and not have to add it manually. Great size, fast, and easy to use. My only complaint is the door height is lower than our old one and now hist the hamper when we open it.

I was using a 20 year old dryer up to the point that I installed this unit. The Samsung dryer dries a large load of cloths in nearly the same amount of time as the washer takes to wash them. I am very impressed with the performance and energy efficiency of the unit.

So far so good with this dryer. We bought it on sale for $750. It can handle quite a bit of items all at once, we washed/dryed two blankets at the same time without any trouble. Also very quiet.

I've previously owned a set of Samsung front load washer and dryer for 4 years but left them when I sold the home. I really liked my previous set so I bought this one with the steam option. Both the washer and dryer work great and the steam option is nice to take out the wrinkles on my clothes. One problem I've had with both of the sets that I've owned are if I fill the dryer with a large load one or two items will come out still damp. I just end up placing those items back in for another 10 minutes so it's not a huge issue.
