It's quiet and dries our clothes quickly. We haven't used the steam function yet but are looking forward to it.

The dryer has a large capacity and is drying much faster than our old dryer.

I love the Samsung dryer my only complaint is the door scratches easily. Otherwise it is great!

I like the dryer but you can't dry towels and jeans together . I thought it was big enough to do the job at 7. 5 cu but it doesn't . Other than that it's good . A Comforter might need extra drying time.

Bought this gas dryer during the 4th of July sale at a great price. Got it installed and was excited to use it because we've never had a new washer dryer set before. The first load we did was an average load of towels. It took about an hour to complete the drying cycle which was longer than our old electric dryer. When I opened the dryer the towels were still very damp. I figured it might be because it was brand new and needed a "breaking in" period. Added some more time on it and figured it would be all good when I came back. Unfortunately even letting it run a second time for another hour still didn't dry the load. It eventually took me about 4 hours to dry a load of towels which was not good. This was our first gas dryer so I thought there might be something wrong with the way it was installed. Adjusted the gas intake several ways but the drying results still were the same whether we used the sensor or timed drying. Decided to return the item before the 15-day return window and go with an LG set which I'm completely happy with. It's definitely a nice looking dryer but we needed something that was functional and worked as it should. One other thing I didn't like was the lint screen. It's a bad design, you need to unsnap it in 3 places to remove the majority of the lint then snap back to insert into the dryer. Maybe it was a lemon we got but I didn't want to take my chance with getting it repaired when it was brand new even though we had the GeekSquad warranty.

The dryer isn't the problem so far. What I found out during the installation (applies to Mont. Cnty, MD residents) is the steam function requires a back flow valve per code and costs an additional $214! This is mandatory in order to pass inspection. Best Buy still hasn't resolved this problem!

We purchased the dryer along with the corresponding washer. The washer worked great from day 1. The dryer, however, took over 4 hours to dry a load of towels and at the end of the 4 hours, the towels were still quite damp. I called Best Buy the next day and we arranged to have a replacement machine sent. Best Buy was very helpful. The replacement dryer arrived and everything dries in under an hour. The machine tries hard to keep out wrinkles and it does a really good job. We have the steam option, and frankly I think this is a waste of money. I think you could accomplish the same thing by squirting your wrinkled, dry clothes with some water before putting in the de-wrinkle cycle. Unless you often leave your clothes in the baskets and need to remove wrinkles alot, then maybe it's worth the money. It does seem to work well at this task. The dryer tumbles clothes in a way where they wrap up like a cocoon. We seem to have some confusion on "Normal Dry". It seems that the machine's definition is that for heavier clothing, it may be a bit damp at the end of the cycle. We like our clothes dry for just about everything, so "More Dry" or :Very Dry" seems to be the choices for us. "Normal Dry" is just too wet :) Otherwise, the machine seems to work really well. We have 3 users in the household and everyone is pleased.

We bought this dryer mainly because of the reviews and salesperson's recommendation. We had to have it serviced under warranty almost right away because it wasn't drying our clothes. Even now it still doesn't do a very good job (sometimes take 2.5-3 hours to dry a load of towels that our previous non-"energy efficient" dryer easily dispatched in a half hour). We probably need to get someone out here to look at it again... Meanwhile the lint trap doesn't capture all the lint and we constantly have to pull out by hand, or even vacuum, lint that gets past the trap.

Does the job, holds a huge amount of clothes! - perfect match for my Samsung washer.

Bought this dryer brand new. Installation initially hooked up dryer with a faulty hose, so hence a major gas leak. Had to call out the Gas company to cap line until the hose was replaced by Best Buy service. Once hose was replaced the dryer will not dry. It takes over five hours to dry towels when my old dryer took an hour max. This machine is really a piece of junk. Best buy is sending out a repair company to try and fix this. Why should I be having to repair a brand new dryer??? I will b returning this dryer and getting a different brand.

Very good dryer for the price. Has a sensor to tell when clothes are dry.
