This is exactly what I was looking for in a dryer. Options that could have a load go quickly or longer with temperature options for each. Easy install and set up and easy to use.

got the whole suite and it really looks nice. makes an ordinary laundry room a conversation peace. eye catching, energy saving and cost efective. NICE!

I really want to love this dryer. It takes forever to dry things if I use any of the cycles that are supposed to sense the dampness of the clothes. The dryer tells you how long it will take to dry a load but it keeps recalculating and adding time. I want dry clothes but I would like them in less than 2 hours or so. I am disappointed. I need to give it more tries before I decide to start looking again.

The red color looks sleek. The dryer itself works well. I like the options including the steam functions. Highly recommend!

The dryer is great. It has sensor dry mode it detects when the cloths are dry and shuts off. Saving time and money.

My Samsung - 7.4 Cu. Ft. 13-Cycle Steam Gas Dryer is the best dryer i've ever owned. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new dryer.

The drying time was a tad longer than I expected it to be, but it gets the job done. So far i've only had one load where an item wasn't completely dry at the end of the cycle. There is a bit of vibration, but I also have an uneven floor surface due to it being located near a floor drain. My only real complaint is more to do with the fact that, at least where I live, the delivery/install team won't install Gas dryers as they aren't certified to do so. This is understandable, but since my local store doesn't have dedicated staff to each department anymore, the employee who helped me when i purchased the dryer didn't really have any knowledge in Appliances, and therefore didn't know to warn me of this. Because of this, I didn't find out until the delivery team arrived, and then had to send them away without my new dryer installed, and then had to wait a week and pay someone else to come do it (as I needed a new gas line installed for the new unit instead of just changing out the units myself.) So, hopefully this review helps someone learn this information BEFORE their purchase, as opposed to when the delivery arrives. I personally think Best Buy should've stuck with the department-specific staffing, as I'm a former employee myself, and always found that shoppers eally appreciated the expertise employees in each department were able to give.

Very satisfied at first. Great to have a dryer that took less time than the washer and did not overdry after our old pair. BTW, did not buy the pedestals and it's fine; count the bending as exercise! At one point this dryer started to take a very long time like the old one we replaced, but figured out that the lint vent outside was blocked and once cleaned we were back to working. BUT then at about nine months we started getting error lights. For a couple weeks I could at least use it on manual setting but then that quit working also. After many calls to try to get service we were told that Samsung's service crews are overbooked. To our shock they offered to replace the whole dryer! Good I guess (but what do they do with the old ones??) And that took another bunch of weeks though, and multiple phone calls and store visits. Hope the replacement lasts...

It's a very good dryer. Great design, works great too, but is a little too loud for me since it's in an apartment, but if you have a laundry room, that should not bother you.

My husband and I love this dryer and the matching washer. We made the decision to get a new set due to our old ones breaking and we honestly couldn't be happier with what we paid for them and their quality. We got them on sale and they were worth every penny. Make sure you get the stands for them because they make a world of difference on your back.

Love! lLove. I have wanted the Samsung Washer & Gas drier for years. Easy to use. Our major complaint is not with the appliances. Our problem is with the installation. The installers were lazy!Lazy! My husband even moved our old appliances outside. They left the scratch cover all over it, plus we found a instruction book taped behind the drier after the fact. We then realized they did not only did not install the line from the drier to the water for the steam feature. They didn't even leave the piece there. We had to go buy it. The drier duct was tapped on very hap-hazardously eventually coming off. We also found scratches. They did not run a cycle through to assure they were balanced. Make sure you know the list of what is to be installed. Would recommend product not the installers. We are seniors and I'm disabled so it was not easy for him to complete the hook up of hose.

Was excited to purchase the pair of Samsung Washer & Dryer with large capacity as we were washing/drying 15+ loads per week - big family and 2 little ones that require their sheets and mattress pads to be washed almost daily. Machines were working fantastic but the dryer "froze" the week before Thanksgiving mid-cycle and would no longer spin or dry. After only 3 months called Samsung service and they said they were out of warranty as were purchased over a year ago when actually 3 months ago from Best Buy. Had to collect sales receipts and credit card statements to prove this. We were worried that we wouldn't have this serviced in the 3 days before our guests arrived for the holiday and Samsung service said that usually within 3 days. EIGHT DAYS LATER we finally received a call from service that they would send repair tech. They said that the earliest appointment was 13 days out! Called Samsung and they said this was long (and not the norm) and would provide repayment for having to do laundry at laundromat and for the additional mattress pads that we had to purchase for our children's beds since we couldn't wash every day (as we would at home) since we both worked. Called back after finally repaired over 3 weeks later (the motor can unattached) and they said they do not provide accommodations and the person who indicated this (and it was also listed in their records) spoke out of line. A manager was supposed to call back within 15 minutes... this was 48 hrs. ago. I would expect better service for a basic dryer but definitely not a $1300 dryer. We have now spent over an additional $185 using the laundromat dryer and having to purchase 2 additional mattress covers to rotate... this does not even include the gas/driving time and the late nights after our children are in bed. I wouldn't say I would never purchase a Samsung product again but there would have to be no other comparable alternatives that could provide service. I called Best Buy and they also said that Samsung service is poor but "that they usually don't require service so you shouldn't have to worry". Buyer Beware!

I choose this dryer over a comparable LG after calling Samsung Customer Service. One important feature I wanted was a drying rack and CS assured me they would send me one. Best Buy told me it came with one. When I called Samsung after the delivery I had to call all the way up to the Office of the President who assured me a dryer rack would be coming. Today the "order" was cancelled and I was rudely told I was not entitled to one. Really? You want to promise a customer one thing and then renig on the promise? Your customer service people couldn't be nastier.
